CONGRATS! -
Wow, It's Already Been A Year!
Ms skinniness replied to JanettRN's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
CONGRATS! You are pretty awesome! So happy for you..... -
Ok, I have to confess. Today, my son made this wonderful high Protein bread called pumpkin banana that I found on the internet. Wow, it was so delicious. It was 125 calories with 15 to 18 grams of protein. I feel somewhat quilty because I ate it when I wasn't even hungry. I ate more than normal of the chicken I had for lunch, and for dinner I ordered a seafood plate and it was fried with a baked potato. I ate way too much and came on and without thinking ate some slices of pepperoni off a pizza my children made. WTH! Those are old behaviors that I really need to work on. So I am choosing to forgive myself for the mistake that I made and first thing tomorrow is the first day of the basics bootcamp. No more unmindfulness when it comes to food. I also want to eat less, I didn't like that full sensation in my stomach. So, no more munching on junk food. We can make a decision to eat protein, protein, and more protein, and not in amounts that stuff our stomachs. I am choosing to under eat my sleeve so that I feel more comfortable. This is the choice I make. Maria: Get rid of all the unhealthy tempting food in your house, start the 5 day basic bootcamp to get rid of the carbohydrate monster in your stomach, and live today for today. Your body is getting healthier every day and you are looking fabulous. Let's do this together. Let us know how your doing on a daily basis for personal accountability to a more healthy life style.

It's Girl Scout Cookie Season....aaarrrrgggghhh!
Ms skinniness replied to apw0's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Stop with the GG cookies. LOL I have a box sitting on my kitchen counter and I'm going to be throwing them out! No one in my family needs to be eating that crap. I would rather just give a donation to the girls selling than to be tempted by them. Sorry for being Debbie Downer here, but now I'm thinking I should go get a piece of candy in the waiting room because tomorrow I will be starting my feb bootcamp! ugggggggg......... I really need to work on this. -
Road Trip For 2 Weeks! What To Eat?!
Ms skinniness replied to 2bfit's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I use to get soups at restaurants. If you have a cooler, why not take your protein drinks in the cooler and buy some soups if you eat out. Take some sugar free jello or pudding and some unjury powder in them. Have a safe trip and remember to stretch your legs really often. -
awwww, this is not normal at all. Have you called your surgeon's office yet? If not, it would not hurt to run it past the surgeon. It could be really serious. Hope not, I don't mean to scare you, but it is very important to be able to eat. Take care and please keep us updated.

Was your frozen yogurt high in sugar. When I have sugar, my stomach doesn't like it. Congrats on your successes! -

I think it's great that you want to donate your blood. But your body has just taken a great big hit by the surgery and is struggling to heal itself. This might be a good time to take care of you and skip the donation this time. You can always go in and donate at a later date. Just a thought! You can't take care of anyone else, unless you take care of you first.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, I'm very to hear your back in the hospital. Sending positive healing energy your way for a speedy recovery..... Food commercials really bothered me when I first got home from the surgery, but I quickly learned to ignor those pesty commercials. -

Just Got Some Bad News...i Need A Pick Me Up!
Ms skinniness replied to sleeve 4 me's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Sleeve4me: Thank God you found out this information now rather when it's too late. I believe that this can be reversed (probably already has) by exercise, eating healthy, and some medication. I can visualize some really tiny little firemen going into your veins and diligently using their powerful hoses to start clearing out the atherosclerosis. This is a visualization exercise that can help clear out your veins. I have been using this to visualize my stalls being broken and removing my excess unwanted fat. I found out I had dropped 7 lbs. I am so sorry you have to go through this. but keep up the wonderful weight loss. -
congrats!

It may be a result of low carb intake. I am referring to the blurred vision. It might be a good ideal to call your surgeon's office tomorrow morning. :aureola:

My New Full Signal
Ms skinniness replied to june13sleever's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
When I'm full, I get this ick feeling. Then I will start sneezing and get a runny nose,so I try to stop before this. Sometimes my stomach actually stings when I eat something with sugar. I'm still learning about my stomach. -
Rethinking Surgery
Ms skinniness replied to Cobrargc's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
At my 3 month post op the PA told me that I would be losing hair at this point. He was right. My hair is now coming out. He did say that 30% of my hair may fall out. That's alot of hair. But it will grow back around 9 months. SO, I can live with my thinning hair. I am taking biotin 10,000mcg (10mg) and silica to support my hair growth, skin, and nails. Please don't let this detour you. You have come this far, so please keep proceeding. By the way, I wouldn't worry about what other's are thinking about your weight loss or hair loss, it's none of their business and the only thing that matters is how you feel about yourself. To be honest, your going to feel great and happy. Be proud of your sleeve, it's a tool that helps you get healthier. You are fantastic! Hope you continue to choose the SLEEVE so that you can soon ROCK IT! -
