Anyone Have Headaches Post Op?
Ms skinniness replied to OilSooner's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oilsooner, bc your surgeon knows your medical history, I would call them lst thing in the am. I'm 4 months out and have always gotten migraines before sleeve. I haven't had a migraine since just a couple of stress HA's. I had a really bad one when I got home from the hospital and took some Loratab and the HA went away. -
CONGRATS! The sleeve will always remind us to stop eating. It just can't control our emotional eating. ;(

I take omeprazole and it works great. Very easy to swallow.

Post-Op Weight
Ms skinniness replied to im sooo excited's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I didn't weigh myself until my first office visit and that was 4 weeks later. Then I decided to start weighing myself on a daily basis bc how exciting it would be to see how much weight dropped off in a day. Wrong, my scale bounces around in big #'s. So depressing. I even went out and bought a new scale. There was only 1 lb difference in the 2 scales, so I took the new one back. So, the weight drops off quickly at first and then slows down. My surgeon's office saids about 1 to 2 lbs a week. -
Drinking Normally- Is It Possible?
Ms skinniness replied to Bedhead's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take gulps all the time. I'm 4 months out. You will be able to also in due time. -
i haven't had any difficulties with meats. I love me3eat fo the protein. I don't like BBQ sauce due to it bein too sweet. But without sauce it's great as long as it's very tender and falling off the bone. I like all the suggestions also. Thank you!

I do something different like exercising, calling a friend, I come to this site to distract myself also. It's not easy but it's not fun to eat too much and my goal is to get healthier by eating healthy foods. Sometimes I do end up eating junk food and feel horribly guilty about the bad choice I made. Oh well, I love my sleeve and am excited about my weight loss. Who knew!

Where Am I Losing All My Fat From?
Ms skinniness replied to Flyingsaucer's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I have gone down in sizes. I started with a size 18 women's. I am in a size 8 slack now. I can't believe how small they look. . My rings have been falling off too. My shoes not so much. I went from an 1x womens tope to a medium. Now one of the medium is getting a little too big. I have hardly any cloths. I don't want to buy until I start maintenance. I love my sleeve. -
Easy Recovery, Are Complications On The Way ?
Ms skinniness replied to monalisa1010's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congrats! You are having an easy recovery. Just follow the rules for the sleeve and never over eat your sleeve. People do get leaks later on but alot don't. Just because your having an easy recovery, does not mean your going to have difficulties later on. Your friend is 6 months out and just got a leak? I'm hoping she has a speedy recovery and starts feeling better soon. You are doing great and just keep focusing on healing. You will be fine. Don't worry about anything negative happening. Embrace your new journey, BTW it sounds like you are embracing it. Your friend will heal. Sending healing energy your way! -

Post Op Day 3 And Having A Hard Time Getting Fluids In! Help!
Ms skinniness replied to Natesmate's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Sip, sip, sip, sip all day long. It is really hard to get in our fluids, but it is very important. You can do it. Just keep taking sips constantly. It is a pain in the butt but going to the hospital is an even bigger pain. it does get better. -

I Feel Like I'm Gaining Instead Of Losing
Ms skinniness commented on Smilecharmer's blog entry in Smilecharmer's Blog
absolutely, but i was addicted to the scale after week 6. I didn't bother weighing myself before that. Now i am staying away from the scale because it was driving me crazy. So I've decided to eat healthy and try not to focus on the scale. My husband bought some of those devil girl scout cookies from some cute little girl scout. So, I paid him to take them to work and get rid of them. Works for me. He read the nutrition label and seen how much fat 28g was in them and was more than willing.
