My NUT told us that citrus is an irritant to our stomaches. But I do squeeze some lemon in my water and love it. I would dilute OJ down to cut the carbs and acidic.

Holy Cow My Loss Has Really Sloooooowed!
Ms skinniness replied to Rainydayz's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have had a very slow time at loosing weight since december. I eat around 800 to 900 calories a day and yet nothing. I haven't been the greatest at drinking Water though. Today I will increase my water intake and basically focus on fluids. I do try to keep my diet low carb as much as possible. I do need to get back to exercising more. All in all, I will take any oz I can get. The weight will come off, we just need to be patient with our bodies. Feed it healthy, Protein, veggies, etc. -

Ms skinniness replied to Suzannesh's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Tan Thank you so much for sharing. I was sharing your story with him at dinner tonight and also taught him how to get a side of chicken for a really inexpensive cost and make the meal basically high Protein. He was amazed. I get alot of information from reading your post. Dorrie -
I told the person I use his office space and he was really happy. He says this will be the best thing I have ever done. And he's always telling me how he didn't recognize me from behind. LOL He is always telling me how good I'm looking. I just say yep, thank you very much. I love my new body, and it's coming a long really great! I actually talk openly about my surgery. If people want to be judgemental then let them, I love the choice I made and if they think I took the easy way out, i tell them how wrong they are and smile.

This sounds definately like a compulsion. As a mental health specialist, I would recommend that you see a doctor because the most effective treatment is therapy in conjunction with medication to help alleviate the compulsion so you can work on eliminating the compulsion to eat. I believe you really want to be successful or you wouldn't have had the surgery. Right now, you are at risk of causing permanent damage to your body and therefore warrants urgent care. Don't mean to scare you, but this is a really serious matter. We care about you and want you to get HELP! Please keep us informed.

I went back to work after 10 days and was completely off all pain medications. It wasn't the easiest. Driving to the office, I'd find myself trance like. But it was okay and I made sure that I walked when ever possible. I was fearful of getting a blood clot.

Herniating?
Ms skinniness replied to thebionicbroad's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Bionic Broad: Yes they will for a fee. I inquired and was told yes. I'm thinking that it would be cheaper than out side place. If you find out, will you let me know, I want to do something with my raisin of a tummy .....LOL I'm only 4 months out. -
Kaiser's option class told us absolutely no gum because if we swallow it, it could block a passage in our pouch. Now Kaiser tended to slant everything towards the RnY procedure. So maybe it doesn't count for us sleevers? I'll email the NUT and ask her directly.
