I Have To Eat Out..again
Ms skinniness replied to peacequeen's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have been going to a sushi place and ordering a child's portion of teriaki chicken for just $2.00 and I can't even eat it all. It's great. I sometimes will order just an egg and chicken maple sausage for under $4.00. Meatball sandwhich with marinara sauce, cheese, on no bread. It looked beautiful. Couldn't eat most of it, so I brought it home and my DH took it to work for lunch the next day. Works perfect. I have no embarrassment because they are lucky I will eat at their restaurant! -

Ms skinniness replied to AdvocateMom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

Coffee Caffenated
Ms skinniness replied to PlusSizeKutie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Caffeine makes us hungry. It's also an irritant for our stomach lining as stated above. I tend to avoid caffeine due to not wanting to get hungry. -
Ay 2 weeks out i would have never been able to get 1/2 cup in my stomach. I was still swollen and had difficulty getting liquids in. But everyone's sleeve's different. I agree with Lissa and the 2 rules she gave. They are important and it also decreases the fear of stretching our sleeve.

I'm Failing! And It's My Own Fault.
Ms skinniness replied to wondering1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Get back to the basics. Get a therapist that can help you fight your head hunger. Protein first, veggies, and cut back on all the carbs. Use Myfitnesspal.com to log your food. If your serious about getting back on track, then you do what you have to do with no excuses. Sorry if too harsh, but you've done really great up till now and it's time to get back on track. -

Ms skinniness replied to Viola's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yes, this is the time to get help. Perhaps you might look into seeing therapist. This is the time to get your head hunger under control. Work on getting the triggers for your bad eating habits under control. Also, I highly recommend LilMissDiva's basic boot camp. It has worked for me numerous times. Stay away from the carbs. Yes, bread is a big slidder! -
