Your body is really confused right now. It will happen and the weight is going to start going down really soon. I think we both are at a point where the weight does get harder to come off because we are so close to goal weight. That means we have to work harder now to get a few oz off our bod's. Tomorrow I am going to get back to exercising by walking. Don't let that frustration get you down!

When is your surgery date? Go on a liquid diet to get to goal weight. You will loose it fast. How much do you have to loose? You can do it if you choose. Being angry isn't going to help you. Unless you work harder when your angry. This doctor is a rule follower and doesn't deviate from the rule it sounds like. So just do it so you can get the miraculous tool to help get that weight off. Hang in there!

No Weight Loss With My New Sleeve This Week
Ms skinniness replied to Tracey37's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
However long did it take to put all that weight on? I will take time to lose the weight even with this wonderful tool we've been given. We all move at different rates in loosing weight. Some drop it right away, some drop it over time. Which is the healthier way, who knows. It will come off, stop weighing yourself and enjoy the ride. Eat healthy, which means Protein shakes, protein, veggies, Jello, pudding SF, and drink lots of fluids. How many of you guys agree with this? -
I Need Help...
Ms skinniness replied to illgeturhairdid's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Did you have these mood swings before the surgery? Where they this bad? I agree with seeing a therapist to help identify the triggers to your mood outbursts. It's hard to face our demons inside, but extremely important to help make the necessary changes to be successful. -

Gonna Get To Goal. Wanna Join Me?
Ms skinniness replied to coops's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Coops you are almost to the goal line. It will take longer to get to goal, but it will happen. I've decided to not stress on the #'s which is hard but, I look so much better, I feel better, and I get to wear really cute cloths. I've decided not to focus on that damn scale and just keep doing what I've been doing. It does get harder the closer we get to goal. I would like to loose about 30 more lbs too. I know that it will come off, but I am going to have to work harder. Do whatever it takes to kick you metabolism into burning. Just remember, you look awesome in your skinny jeans! You are feeling much better, and yes, it is totally frustrating! But the weight will come off. Hugs and kisses! -

Do it for all of us for no one is immune. I hope to see this on...

I don't worry about stalls much anymore. I realize after my stalls and reading everyone else's fears of not losing anymore, that it's totally unrealistic that we are stopping our weight loss. I wanted to see the scale go down instantly. Well, my weight didn't go on instantly, so it will take a while do go down. I realized that when my body halted shedding those unwanted pounds. My body was readjusting in inches. Yes inches! That's what really counts for me. So I have put my scale away, or to put it mildly, it's in a time out for not going down! I had even went out an purchased a new scale because it had went for 144.6 to 161.6 overnight! Now that freaked me out. My scale was just fine. It was probably Water weight. Anyways, I am not stressing on scale #'s anymore and am just going to live my life happily and weigh myself periodically. This is where I'm at now. I have about 30 lbs to loss to get to my set goal, and I will get there. I'm only 4.5 months post op and I don't need to waste today worrying about tomorrow. Today is the day that I'm celebrating bc my body looks so much better (with cloths on). Yes I have a muffin tummy or I also call it a raisin top. LOL Stop worrying, your weight will come off, focus on eating healthy and enjoying the new you. Look in the mirror and see the miraculous changes taking place. Don't miss out on today bc your focusing on tomorrow! Have a beautiful day!

My doctor's told us that drinking alcohol is a no no. They reported that our stomachs are greatly reduced and is absorbed at a much faster rate and that people have died with WLS from drinking alcohol. Now was this a scare tactic or what? I don't want to risk it. But on the other hand, I might take a sip here and there. Why not?

Lost 30 Lbs On My Own. Should I Go Throu With Vsg?
Ms skinniness replied to 1Bumblebee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
We all have had concerned relatives and friends that something might happen in surgery like complications or just us getting thinner and then there would be a change in relationships because we feel better about ourselves and are actually happier. I had to come to my own terms on whether or not to do the surgery. Intuitively I knew that I needed this surgery to improve my over all life style and health. I had just been diagnosed as diabetic. I had watched my dad and brother in-law struggle with this disease and was fearful for my life. I had no energy, I got tired all the time, I also had IBS which was totally a pain in the a....... My daughter would constantly tell me I didn't need this surgery. She wasn't living in my body, I was. I didn't feel good about myself, couldn't shop in regular stores and I looked like the Goodyear blimp! This is the best decision I've ever made for myself. I'd do it over in a heart beat! I would stop stressing on others because we are all totally different. Hand in and I honor any decision you come too. Let us know how your doing. -

Size 10 Jeans! What?
Ms skinniness replied to Forensikchic's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I live in oc Ca and I went to a support group with Kaiser and the only people there were mostly RnY. I had to take their Options classes and it was also slanted towards RnY procedures. It is so confusing at times. Wish you luck with your support groups. They can be highly beneficial. -
