Hair Dye And Hair Loss
Ms skinniness replied to Tina293's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have had to dye my hair twice. I have come to the conclusion that if my hair is going to come out, there's really not anything I can do to stop it. Trust me, I have tried. I'm seriously thinking about getting it dyed really soon due to gray hairs are about an 1" now. I do take a lot of biotin and silica for my hair. So it is growing really fast. -

Gonna Get To Goal. Wanna Join Me?
Ms skinniness replied to coops's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Kris, i buy the QuestBar. It has 20g protein, no sugar or sugar alcohol used, 200 c per bar (I eat 1/2) and has 22g total carb, 18g dietary fiber, sugar 1g. When you subtract dietary fiber from total carbs, your actually getting 4 carbs per bar, and since I only eat 1/2, I'm actually getting 2 carbs. A nutritionist I get news letters from talks about a healthy protein bar called JEN. I still need to search for it. You can get more info on QuestBar on www.wuestproteinbar.com. -
I just made a high protein pancake and was reading the forum, and not being mindful, I ate the whole pancake. Oh well, if it is too much I will deal with it! LOL

Wine And Whine Wednesday!
Ms skinniness replied to Lilee84's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Gosh, I have nothing to whine about. Oh, I did weigh myself just to be amazed at the new 158.4 scale #. Was pleasantly surprised that I had dropped a couple of ozs. YAYYYYYYYYYYY! But I really wasn't expecting anything. I'm cold and then I'm hot. Confusing, yes I know. Anyhow, have a wonderful day! -

We all need to get our vitamins in. I know that I forget to take mine sometimes. I'm terrible at taking the B12 even though I know that it will give me more energy. Need to readjust myself. There done! I've readjusted. LOL -

A Little Upset About My Hair Loss
Ms skinniness replied to Paola's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take biotin 10,000mcg, silica, and use nioxin shampoo and conditioner. I still find alot of hair in the drain and my hairbrush, not to mention my comb also. So sad but worth it for this body now. I feel so much better. I have started taking fish oil caps too. So, hair starts growing in around 6 months? I wonder how long it will take to get longer and fill in. LOL -
Anxious About Buying New Clothes
Ms skinniness replied to Lisa821's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have very few cloths that fit right now. I bought some Levi jeans that I out grew in about 4 weeks. I also have a size 11 that I outgrew but I still wear them with a belt. I have bought some clearance sexy blouses from Victoria Secret and that's it. Oh recently I bought a size 10 blazer and M blazer with 1 blouse that is a little snug across the shoulders. I love my new body. It's absolutely beautiful. This hard work is paying off. -
Well It Has Been 6 Months Since My Gastric Sleeve Surgery. Now What To Expect?
Ms skinniness commented on Maddy's blog entry in Maddy's Blog
Thank you. This makes a lot of sense. I have about 28 lbs to loose and am coming to the point where I am loosing very little weight. This really sucks, but it is what it is and I will do what I need to, to stay on track to get to goal. I'm 5'6" and currently weigh 158.6 lbs. I want to get down to 130 lbs. -
I Am Not Understanding....
Ms skinniness replied to PreciousCargo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would not worry too much about the carb thing right now. Just eat what you can, protein mostly like soups, broths, yogurt, jello sf, pudding sf, cottage cheese. These are all good foods. Like MegInNola stated. Do the best you can and try not to stress tooooo much.... -
Almost Fainted This Morning! Help
Ms skinniness replied to Melly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Could be vitamin deficency like topgun suggested. Low iron, etc. Are you laying down with your feet up now? It would be a great idea if your not already. Talking with your doc is an excellent suggestion. You will be okay. -
Tell Me What The Sleeve "pb" Is Like
Ms skinniness replied to Wheetsin's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I have not had any of these problems. I tend to under eat my sleeve. Oh wait, In the beginning, I use to have food sit right in my esophaus which felt really wierd, but would be gone in 10 minutes. I do have alot of constipation which can sometimes be painful passing. But other than that, no problems. I do have stalls like everyone else. But overall, no slimes, I do burp but not much and I have alot of gas and I fart!. I can handle these. I love my sleeve. -
