I don't do the nonfat foods because they are loaded with sugar and sugar is toxic and addicting. I eat protein first then some veggies. I do eat protein bars but seldom. I want to eat simple and organic. Here's to good health! Cheers!

It's interesting about the different points of view the surgeons all have. I know that I did my nutrition at Kaiser for 12 weeks and they gave us 3 weeks of liquids, 3 weeks of purred, 3 weeks of mushies and then semi solids. Now the surgeon gave a diet that allowed sf pudding, yougurt and jello in the liquid stage. So Iadfed those to my diet. It savede.

I Thought Would Feel Different
Ms skinniness replied to MoogleQueen's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is a turtle running a slow race. See me putting on my snickers? This is the most fantastic thing I have ever done. But I have to remind myself that this is a process and it takes time. I constantly have to readdress my fear of food. So I have resolved myself into eating protein, veggies and little bit of starches. This has helped tremendously. I really have to not eat sugar or it will raise my A1C for diabetes. So slow is the way to go. and it might be better to not weigh yourself more than 1 x per week. It will drive you crazy. Sit back, and enjoy your ride to skinny haven. -
Crying Inwardly, Can't Believe He Said This!
Ms skinniness replied to thinoneday's topic in Rants & Raves
No, don't do that! No starving yourself. Just go back to the basics if you desire it. Your hubby is just being an A$$. I hope your sit down with him and tell him how hurtful it was to hear his stupid words. People are always fluctuating back and forth in pounds. he is so lucky you be the one for you. I'd probably want to take him to couples counseling because he is part of the reason you were over weight anyways. Sorry, this kinda pulls my chain. -

Why Am I Not Losing?
Ms skinniness replied to Angela Johnson's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Stalls happen to everyone, plus the further out we get and the closer to goal, the slower it goes. I'm just loosing a little bit at a time now and I refuse to give up. So it's coming off in ounces. I'll take it. I need to measure myself now. Today I just found out that I am wearing a size 6 slacks now. I am so happy with that.
