Everybody on this site have talked about plateaus since 3 weeks out. It is normal and while you are in a plateau, you body is adjusting in inches. 4 days is nothing. If you haven't taken any measurements, then this is the time to measure yourself. You have done a great job losing and your body has it's own agenda on weight loss. Trust that the process is happening. CONGRATS! You are a success!

Yes, it is totally normal to worry about this stuff. The way I handled it was, I just did it. Kept myself busy up until the AM of the surgery. Then I was kinda freaking out and wanting to run away. But I didn't. I had the procedure and have had no complications from the surgery. This is the best decision I could of made for myself.

Ms skinniness replied to Who's That Girl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Since week 1 I was able to get in 6 ozs of yogurt or sf pudding. But when I eat more dense foods like meats It's more or less 3 oz. That's all I need and I am really full. Earlier it was smaller portions. I didn't eat dense foods until around 4 months out. I love my sleeve! -

I have a muffin top below my belly button and the incisions were made above in the upper part of my torso. There's no healing going on down there. -
I hate it when my allergies are acting up. I always get a runny nose when eating in restaurants. Now I get a runny nose when I'm full. Oh and the sneezing also hinders me. Our stomach's are certainly more sensitive now.

Is A Fruit Smoothie Allowed On The Liquid Phase Or Is That Just Wishful Thinking?
Ms skinniness replied to CHELL's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Be careful of the seeds in the fruit. The seeds could get stuck in your staple line. -
You've done an amazing job! Keep it up!

Muffin Top - Wth?
Ms skinniness replied to Who's That Girl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Is it fat or skin? I will probably need a tummy tuck down the line. I hope my tummy and skin will adjust as time goes on, but if it doesn't, then I might get a tummy tuck. -
This is a nightmare for you. Sending healing energy your way. I'm picturing your blot clot getting smaller and smaller and just going away! This is a mental exercise you can do in addition to medical interventions. Use it through out your day. Will be thinking about you so please keep us posted as to how your doing.

You could be just fine. I take Colace 500mg and nothing really happens. I agree with Webchickadee, sit in the back of the room and excuse yourself it need be. Try and relax.

Southern Sleever ~ you look fabulous! Congrats. Lila and Coops when increasing muscle mass, you will gain weight due to increased muscle mass. Having said that, your muscles will help burn calories at a quicker rate of speed too! What a benefit that will be. So happy for you guys, I must get my A$$ in gear and exercise. I'm going to the park today to start walking again. You guys are so inspirational to me! Thanks everyone! -

I Looove My Sleeve! Its Soooooooo Understanding And Tolerant
Ms skinniness replied to Anewlifeforme23's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's best to follow the doc's orders by continuing to eat pureed food's. The reason for this is that the staple line has not healed yet and so if you eat solid foods it can cause a leak. And to me I don't want a leak. Yes you can puree anything with a blender. Hang in there, it will happen soon. -
Bread is what makes us fat! However, I do eat some in small amounts with a sandwhich. I throw 1 slice in the trash and will eat 1 piece. Sometimes it gets dry. I also don't like the carbs it has and some has very little nutritional value to it. It also takes up too much room in my stomach.
