Ms skinniness

A PPI is for gas and acid reflux in our tummies. Like nexium, omeprazole, pepcid, etc. Gas can cause us a lot of discomfort. Let us know what your surgeon saids.

This is a symptom of DEHYDRATION! You might need to go into urgent care and get an IV push.

They are very small and can be taken with some yogurt or pudding to help them slide down into your tummy.

Oh, your hair will fall out. But it grows back. I just went to a health food store and bought biotin tablets and silica caplets. I asked the person working there which was a better one. they work great. I have hair growing in places I don't want it to grow and at a quicker rate too!. LOL

Call the surgeon's office and have it checked ASAP. Also ask them about a PPI if you aren't taking any. A PPI is nexium, omeprazole, pecid. Better safe than sorry.

Hair loss usually starts around 3 months post op. It will happen and there's really nothing you can do about it. I take biotin and silica and that helps my hair grow back faster. It's for nail and hair regrowth. My hair stopped falling out at 6.5 months post op. I had no bald spots, my hair just thinned out. It does grow back and it's worth losing my hair to get skinny and healthier. I love my skinniness!

Hey Lissa ~ are you still eating those nasty cheetos? LOL I have finally gotten away from those pesky chocolates in my office! Yesterday I found myself eating the crumbs from the Tortilla chip bag right before dinner. I was so stress out about my family members rumeraging through my in-laws house (after FIL died) that I needed some comfort food. But then I couldn't eat my dinner at BJ'S! When will I ever learn? Yes I know, I won't do that again. Cheetos and chips are the devil's food. LOL

Are you taking a PPI (nexium, omeprazole, pepcid)? The chili was probably spicy for your stomach at this point. Call your surgeon's office and ask them if you can take a PPI. It will pass.

Gosh, I would have been so angry at that point. But, it just wasn't your time. Hopefully, they will give you the first appointment in the AM when you are rescheduled. It''s early but at least your the first one and the surgeon is totally fresh.

Hope they can do the revision at the same time as removing the band. Less trauma for your body to go through! Good luck and hope your sleeved soon.

I tell everyone! The people that give me flack are people that are insecure about themselves and are very judgemental people. They can have it, but at least I have planted a seed to help them think outside the box. Especially when they see my bod now. This is a great transformation. My best friend told me she couldn't handle my "skinniness." So now I've adopted the word "skinniness." I love my skinniness! LOL
