Well, I've Decided To Hang It Up . . .
Ms skinniness replied to Rootman's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I miss riding my old bikes! Seen some guy riding on the back wheel on the freeway yesturday and it actually scared me! Now I just bought a Schwinn and need to get the nerve up to ride it. LOL -
My surgeon doesn't do blood work until a year out if no complications. however, I did ask my PCP for some blood workup and he was happy to order them for me. Everything was great and that was 3 months post op. Love it, I love my skinniness and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Pretty Excited About This Product I Foung
Ms skinniness replied to TheNewSusie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sounds kind of yucky to me. I like my Premier shakes so I will stick with them. -
I am going to start having salads, I have a thing about eating lettuce with no nutritional value. But I have been missing them and do eat a little bite here and there.

Need A Gastric Doc In Dallas, Had Surgery In Mexico
Ms skinniness replied to TheRiskItTookToBlossom's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Your PCp will most likely be the one to call. Most Docs won't touch another surgeon's patient. So if no PCP then an Urgent Care would be the next best option. -
That is so encouraging to me. I am 7.5 months out and my weight bounces. Today feeling somewhat down but am working at bringing myself back up. I love my skinniness and wouldn't give it up for anything. I'm just stuck on those stupid #'s. Thank you so much for sharing. You made me happy .

Feeling Awful, Emotionally.. Suggestions?
Ms skinniness replied to AshleyIrene's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It is so frustrating when others are inconsiderate in the things we're trying to change. It sounds like your in a little bit of depression and need to get out and exercise to lift some of the depression. I am 7.5 months post op and today I feel down. I do feel down when others bring around M&M's peanuts and chips. I hate watching my husband eat and others. I get really impatient with them. I really want them to eat healthy. Yesturday we all went to Mimi's and ordered lunch. I told them that this was the last time I am going to order my own meal and that I will being taking bites from their's. They were all ok with that. That's such a big variety I'll have. So let's get out of our funk, dust our pants off, and jump back into the game! We are winner's! Oh and tell your boyfriend that it's not ok to sabotage your diet! -
Feeling at bottom today. Fearful of gaining weight back. Sad! Am getting back on track today. No carbs! Proteins and exercise.

Lost 53 Lbs In 1 Month -.0
Ms skinniness replied to HondaCivicDude's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
So proud of you! Keep it up! -
Tylenol with cod is in the majority of pharmacies and doesn't have too bad of a taste. I had to take it instead of the vicodin because vicodin stimulates me and kept me up for 3 nights and days. Blahhhhhhhhhhhh!

As I am telling you to be patient, I realize that I have given up today. I let myself have anything I wanted which were not that great. So it's back on track for me tomorrow. Gotta cut the sugar again and the carbs. LOL Tomorrow is a new day, and exercise will be first thing in the AM.

Memorial Day Challenge!
Ms skinniness replied to Forensikchic's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I can't believe that I just gained 2 lbs within 10 seconds of weighing myself. No, I did not reach goal. I'm in for 4th of July challenge! I weighed in at 252.6 the first time and the second 254.3. Either way I didn't make the challenge. -
Ugh-- Terrible Day
Ms skinniness replied to DallasMomofTwins's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
There is always tomorrow to get back on track. I always eat protein first and then a little of something else if I have too. -
Judgement About Wls
Ms skinniness replied to Almostthere34's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just smile and be grateful that you want to save your life and are willing to work hard for it. Your friend has a very low self esteem and God Forbid, you are successful and then she'd have to re-evalate herself. I go by the notion that I have chosen this procedure and it has helped me ten fold. I would do it again in a heart beat. LOL ] -

Low Bmi...how Much Can I Expect To Lose?
Ms skinniness replied to Thinner Peace's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 5'6 and my stating weight was 223 lbs. Sevenonths layer I weight 150 lbs. I have passed my surgeons goal but my goal is 130 to 140 lbs. Weight loss is so slow that sometimes I doubt myself and eat things that are toxic for me. So I get back on track with protein. I will always eat proteins first and I really dislike breads now. Hope we all get to 130 lbs! We will! -
Don't forget that alcohol is toxic and cam kill u'. Ur stomach is much smaller and u can easily over do it in 2 sips. People with was have died from alcohol poisoning. I choose Heath over alcohol or drugs.

Only you can stop yourself. What I did was go through my kitchen and threw away all the junk food. I then cut my portion size down by half and was hungry for a week or so but then adjusted. This is a choice we make and I was determined. They told me that I couldn't loose any more weight, bc my BMI was too low so I tried to gain but kept loosing. Then the doc realized that I had comorbities and approved it anyways. You have come this far and have committed yourself to have this procedure, so now it's time to adjust your thinking by acknowledging that we really don't need to eat all that food anyways. You can do this. Time to get control of your choices and tame the head hunger monster! LOL Good luck!
