What Have You Heard?
Ms skinniness replied to AnewMe@28's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
ANEWME@28 I bought some yesturday but the nutritious there told me that these do expand and could possibly stretch the stomach to give the sensation of being full. Today i am going to call my surgeon's office and ask them if by eating the chia seeds, can it stretch the sleeve? What do you think and what has been you experience? How about anyone else that's using this product? I am concerned about being able to get water in so that I can prevent dehydration. it's such a chore to stay hydrated. -
Be Honest What Did You Cheat On Your 2 Week Post-Op?
Ms skinniness replied to Karen2012's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am very curious as to why people would risk their sleeve by cheating on the dietary plan given by their surgeon? I know that I was fearful of damaging my staple sline and I cheated with yogurt, but that was because of a discrepancy with Kaiser's dietary plan and the surgeon's dietary plan. I am really interested in hearing the rational that goes through our minds that contribute to us cheating. no judgements, just curious. Thanks everyone. -

Drinking Water And Staying Hydrated
Ms skinniness replied to nydia33's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I struggled with this also. I now mix some low calorie Gatorade with water and am able to get a lot of fluids in that way. I was really struggling with plain water bc it would not feel good in my stomach. So I had bought a Gatorade at the store and wow, within a half hour I had rank the whole bottle. It felt good and now I don't have any troubles with getting my fluid in on a daily basis. -

Hummmm, I might try these on my hubby! He's always hungry and eats like a horse. LOL. Thank you for sharing this. How much weight have you lost and when were you sleeved? I am 9 months out and surprised on how much I can eat. Are you at goal? How did you know when you had reached your goal if you are at goal? I find myself waffling back and forth with my goal. LOL -

Magical Mexican Broth
Ms skinniness replied to Shape_Shifter's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I was really bad about exercise. I would park further in parking lots and I did go to the gym a few times. I really wish I would have exercised for at least 30 minutes a day. -

I lost about 50 lbs in the first 3 months. After the 5th month, my weight loss really slowed down. I was getting close to goal. Still am working on losing a couple of lbs still. -

Help! Bougie Size Questions. 46Fr
Ms skinniness replied to Losingitforgood!'s topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgeon used a 34 bougie and sometimes I can eat a lot. Can you ask him to use a smaller size bougie? Be proactive if you can. However, either way, you will lose weight. -

My Knockout Breakfast But Do You Have A Knockout Lunch And/or Dinner?
Ms skinniness replied to HondaCivicDude's topic in Food and Nutrition
Sausage isn't that great for your cholesterol either! To be honest, you are eating so little, your cholesterol is going to come down anyways. We do need a little cholesterol for our brain and other body organs to function. Great job to both of you. -
You are woman! LOL It may be time to do some core exercises to strengthen your muscles before doing any strenous stuff. I really have to do this also.
