Social Anxiety After Weight Loss
Ms skinniness commented on Jack Fabulous's blog entry in J. Fabulous' Blog
This is so true. You have made so many changes already and have done great. I love that your challenging yourself to socialize more with others. Sometimes I can feel rather reserved but other times I am totally amazed at myself when I just get out of my head and start talking to others without worrying about saying something stupid. If I say something stupid, I just laugh and make a joke of it. I love to use humor. Just be true to who you are and you will be just fine. -

Feel Weak On Pre Op
Ms skinniness replied to Justine13's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow, before you know it you will be sleeved! CONGRATS! Can you drink protein drinks on you pre diet? If you can, maybe you can drink 1 extra to give you some strength. Can't wait for you to join us on the BIG LOSER'S BENCH! -
Wow, you have gotten this far. That's fantastic. I love when I have orders to do blood workup because I get to see where all my blood values are. The blood work I had before surgery I was low on vitamin D so they prescribed me a super high Vitamin D cap with 50,000 IU. My A1C was a bit high, but not high enough to stop the surgery from happening. CONGRATs on getting this far.

I only told my sister in-law at first. She was really receptive and wants her daughter to also have the surgery due to her diabetes. My nephew asked what I was doing to lose weight and I told him. Then I told my brother in law and he told me that he would have prayed for me. Haven't had a relationship with him since an probably never will. I am good with that. Everyone else have been really great. My FIL and MIL were up there in their mid 90's and I didn't want to worry them. They have recently passed away. Anyway, I only want people in my life that are loving and accepting of me and are a joy to have around.

Ms skinniness commented on Thyckness718's blog entry in Thyckness718's Blog
Welcome to the BIG LOSER'S BENcH! Get a lot of rest and healing right now........ XOXOXO! -
Protein is not a big concern right now, getting your fluids in is. I use to drink some of the protein shake, and put the rest in the refrigerator. I gradually increased it.

Curious About Pain?
Ms skinniness replied to Scoutmom624's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had no pain. I used the morphine pump anyways because I just wanted to sleep. It was a little painful getting up and down though but that was because of the incision sites and the cutting of my muscles. I had 6. -

Hi everyone, I have a question. I had my blood work up for my 1 year post op and my bilirubin level is above normal. Everything else is fine. My PCP wants me to get an abdominal x-ray and is asking me if I have any pain in abdominal area. I don't have any pain and I feel really good. So has anyone had the same experience or am i headed for gallstones or something? I am not really sure what to think.

Why Am I Not Loosing With My Sleeve?
Ms skinniness replied to jh5497's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
There is no shame here! We all make grammar errors and spelling. But I refuse to punish myself for making a mistake. I'm human and so are you..... You are doing everything right, but you might try LilMissDiva's "The Basic Bootcamp Diet" to shake things up. I will post it right here for you and it really works. It will get things moving again..... The BASICS BOOTCAMP: For 5 STRICT DAYS I will eat only... Proteins: Seafoods, Poultry and eggs, Dairies, nuts/seeds including Peanut Butter. Veggies: Green only. Fruits: None. Breads/Cereals/Other Carbs: None. Fluids: One gallon of Water (128 oz.) or Protein Drinks. Avoid: Sugar and Sodium Once the 5 days are over, I am pretty much over the Sugar Carb Demon. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate carbs! I do need them to live a healthy life and since I workout a lot it is important I have them. However, I need GOOD carbs. Whole grains, fruits, veggies... But I don't need processed sugars. White carbs, in cereals, breads, rice... etc. Good luck! -

Gallbladder Difficulties
Ms skinniness replied to Ms skinniness's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am scheduled for radiology on October 1 just to be sure. It sounds like a long time though. This is something that I will be watching for. Thank you. I'm going to email my PCP and ask what he thinks about putting me on Unigall. I do want to know what the side effects of this medication is. I'm also looking into some herbal ingredients to cleanse my gallbladder. Don't know if that's hype or not. Thank you everyone for your input. Now I know what to look for. -
Dietitian Counseling
Ms skinniness replied to Allsmiles45's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
CONGRATS! your almost there. I would do some research on the internet for prices for vitamins because I buy them over the internet as long as they're in a different state than mine. That way I don't pay for taxes and sometimes I get a really good price. also I make sure that shipping is free..... -
Help! 9 Months Out And Problem Need Info Not Encouragement?
Ms skinniness replied to DebiC's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It's time to go back to basics. Cut your calorie intake back to 900 - 1000 and start moving around more. I know that I am 11 months out and have stopped losing a while back. But I'm pretty much at goal weight right now. You body needs a real shock right now and if you've ever read LilMissDiva's "The Basic Bootcamp" your notice that the people that have tried it has been very successful. I still eat Protein first, some veggies, and some starches. I need to go back on the basic bootcamp so I can get rid of my sweet tooth right now. So I just located it on my desktop and I'm going to paste it here so you can decide if you'd like to try it or not. Good luck. Your really not done, so keep working that sleeve. By LilMissDiva! Why Can I Eat Way More Somedays Then Others?
Ms skinniness replied to SpaceyCasey's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 11 months out and am having days like this now. Seems to happen more when I don't eat dense proteins first though. -
Actually, I didn't take anything. Well, I took me. I guess I wasn't thinking clearly. I could of used some chapstick, but that was it. I stayed for 2 nights.

Well...i Made It!
Ms skinniness replied to robynluevano's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is really good to hear. I hope your incision site stops bleeding,it is much easier to recover at home. I was told I would have 5 incision sites, but I got 6 which the doc proudly announced when I seen her. At that point, I didn't really care, I just wanted to be left alone and go back to sleep. I loved my morphine pump. LOL CONGRATS and welcome to the BIG LOSER'S BENCH! you are going to be so skinny really, really soon. -
