Darcy I married in 89, we refinainced on his house in 90. At divorce 96 I received a sum of money, the difference of the appraised value between then and final. It was agreed that I sign a quick claim deed. Later...I realized I was still on the mortgage and tried to get off of it. My lawyer informed me there was nothing I could do. I could not force him to refinaince! I was mad!! She did reasure me that If he falters, is late, etc... anything that jepordizes my credit that I can make a motion to a judge to have my name put back on the deed and take over payments or even sell the property. My credit report states I'm still on that mortgage. Keep contact with the mortgage/credit company cause it could jepordize your credit if payments are not made. My lawyer insisted that any Judge would see things my way if it was to happen, as a co-signer you should have rights to that property. Who's his benificeiary???

I thought that my procedure would have produced weightloss in and of itself also...but NOT. The ulcers in my colon were very painful. I spent many nights trying to go to the bathroom so-to-speak, but just sat on the toilet crying. Months of prednizone to put me into remission didn't work. Everywhere I went I had to know where the bathroom was cause I would crap my pants within moments without warning. Yes I wore diapers. When I was asked if I wanted to have the procedure done, it wasn't hard to decide. It was the most painful recovery from surgery ever. Then for 6 weeks I had to take 4 baths a day, and could relate with any child who had a diaper rash. I still have bowels and the good old muscles, the colon was removed, then the end of the small intestine was sliced flolded sewn together to about the size of a braut sausage, with a valve made (of tissue) at the top and bottom, and a ledge also made about where the bowel is. The new reservoir is lowered onto the ledge and stapled(titanium) into place. Hows that for a picture. The pain is gone forever. Good for you Stephanie:cool:

Hi Dallas I don't have Crohn's but I did have Ulcerative Colitis. I had my Colon removed and reconstruction to my rectum, basically a new reservoir was created from my small intestines so I don't wear a bag. I had that done in May 2000. I have bowel movements about 6 times a day not quite a dumping effect, but food moves faster in my system. Crohn's disease involves the whole digestive track, I don't know the full effects but have heard it is miserable. When I had my Band placed my doctor was informed of my colon removal and wasn't concerned it was problem. I guess I'm not much help. Good luck with your research and welcome to LBT

Yes. $10,850 Dr. Sanchez in Monterrey Mexico. I used Credit, and almost have it paid off. As soon as I came home I put in a claim to Blue Cross. Three weeks later they requested the doctors instructions/proceedures. I sent that in and three days later was denied. I just sent in another claim and waiting on a responce. I'm just going to keep pushing claims. :guess

I'm reading and just stuned, Penni, my heart drops. I do agree with having an endoscopy first. Good caring doctor! We've been hit with one title-wave after an another. Sending Love -
Me Too! Sorry to hear about your leak, but Your doctor found it, and you know what's wrong. I do NOT think your rejecting or your body is trying to ‘attack’ the band. Do not let your doctor slow your process, lead you on or ignore the situation. Try to push to get this fixed ASAP. Contact Inamed personally and document everything. Please keep us posted.

Hi Penni Sorry to hear your going back under the knife. Dr. Billy was one of the first docs I called (Truckee office) back last Aug. after I got back from Mexico. I was told that he doesn't service non-Inamed bands. In your pillow talk could you mention if this is still the case. I have a good fill doc, but it's nice to have a back-up. I may have missed this but what did he charge for the fill last friday? You did get a fill, with the tilted port? I'm glad your insurance is picking up most of the costs for your port and tubing fix. Keep us posted -
Donali I love the pic! Bra and Boobs look great. Your a brave girl taking your own stitches out, good job. I've lanced and cleaned simple animal owies to save on vet bills but won't touch a humans. I'm glad to hear your incisions don't look quite so red today, hopefully with time all will heal beutifully. Speaking Bra's, Mine are not fitting well, I'm shrinking and I can't stand it. That's the only place I didn't want to loss. Time to go shopping, Thanks for the web link but I think I'm going to have get fitted/sized. Kelly, bathing suits on e-bay, great deals. I go for a least one size larger, gotta love spandex, size 10 wow. Lisa, you have been everywhere. Terry, An Endoscopy will answer all your questions, let us know what they see. My thoughts are with you.

Teresa I’m blushing! I just turned 45 on Sunday. You are smart! Getting all the pieces of your life together before having children is important. Your inherited property sounds beautiful (BLM on both sides is a plus) I have worked so hard for what we have and it takes long time. Yes the right father is a plus. My ex could not produce children and I know it was for a reason. To find my soulmate, who’s ex couldn’t produce kids either. Besides having 2 adorable, busy, driving, on-going brilliant brains, I’m wiped out working to keep our property, yes on the lake. I want to be a stay at home mom, at least part time. On with the hair…. I fought wavy hair all my life! Large rollers, Irons, blow dry forever. Then 9 years ago I went with the flow. I get the top section above the ears premed with spirals, it takes hours to get tiny rods set just right at about every 8 month’s.. With the added natural wave it’s moose and go. This pic is 5 monthes old, time for a new pic.

Welcome Pam and Congratulations! What a rewarding job with kids. 50 pounds with or without the band is a great loss. The best aspect is the weight will not come back. I would be honored to meet Alex. Sending best wishes.

What kind of band do you have? I have an AMI Swedish Band. I'm currently about 5.7cc's, but my first fill was only 1.75cc's and done under fluoroscopy. 4cc's doesn't sound right, too much. If your having problems, call the doctor.
