Diverticulitis is small pockets in the wall of the colon. Bacteria, waste … can harbor in these pockets. Have her avoid seeds and nuts. Also a high fiber diet is usually recommended. I don’t know much, but have plenty of Colon knowledge even though I don’t have one any more. I hope she doesn’t have too much pain or bleeding, any colon related problem could be very painful. Do give her a big Hug at Christmas and let her know my thoughts are with her. :Bunny
