Yesterday I picked up a double bloom pink weeping cherry tree. She's 5 feet tall and all full of buds. We had to lower the back seat of the explorer and she hung out the back window. My 7 year old daughter, Roxanne held on to her pot with every turn I made, saying "it's ok Carolyn, were almost home"

Vera replied to KarenB's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I'm one who misses restriction, If I could just get water and Protein shakes down was all I was concerned about, with No reflex!!! It was always my greatest weight-loss stage. It's such a fine line. You have to know Your own body. -
Newbie, Need Help deciding on facility
Vera replied to jeangab's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Is very Modern and Beautiful, Private rooms, Granite everywhere. It's know as a teaching hospital, constant care, good nurses.I don't know anything about Dr. Arturo Rodriguez. I used Dr. Sanchez. Good Luck -
I'm crying all day long. The rain just stopped and a bluebird was up on the deck, it was staring at me though the window. I said Blossom is that you...I opened the door and gave it some crackers. My heart aches. Greg, Rose of Sharon is such a beautiful bush. I love roses but the deer poulation here, eats them away. I have redwood trees in my sisters honor and another for our dear Buddy-lab, right where his dog house was. Blossom gets a flowering tree, a Mimmosa or Lilac. Please help me choose something deer tolarable. I have the perfect spot picked out, and will post a pic when planted.

I’m in total shock. My deepest sympathy to Philip and her family. I’m sadden and my heart feels heavy in grief. I remember when Blossom came into lives, I remember her posting pics of herself and asking us to vote which one to use as an avatar. Then I remember her picture gone and I asked her why and she remarked “I live in a small town and a bariatric doctor just opened an office here and will be doing bands. I don’t want to be recognized.” I know she often talked of gardening and I’ve decided to plant a flowering tree in her honor. It will grow in view of the lake. Carolyn you will be missed.

Not any more. Ann-Marie was asked to "leave" due to poor patient relations... Kathy should get a hold of Dr. Sanchez with her concerns, if there is anything wrong with her band, Dr Sanchez will fix it. If it's just a matter of fills? There are several doctors who will fill non-Inamed bands in the Bay Area of California. The Swedish band or AMI band is not considered cheaper. It's like comparing the VG band to the 10cc band or to the 4cc band. Bands should be chosen per person's size at time of placement as well as fat around the stomach. Lisa, Give it to me!

Finally Getting My Band Tomorrow!!!!
Vera replied to Jammin & Losin's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Jamie, sending prayers for you. -
Hi Isa and welcome to LBT. I know Dr. Sanchez personally, he is an outstanding surgeon! His staff is wonderful. You will be well taken care of. I have never met Dr. DeLaGarza. Monterrey Mx is a very large city with several medical universities and hospitals, there are several band doctors utilizing the modern facilities that city has to offer. Feel free to PM me with any others questions reguarding Dr. Sanchez.

Lisa, when I feel a PB coming on, I DO NOT drink, it will just be worse, slime then up-chuck. The best thing for me is to try and keep it down. Waving my arms around in circles, walking around seems to help. Sharon's discription is pretty funny....Tricia, cute art

I do wish you the best Corliss! I would get an upper GI/flouro and see exactly what form your stomach is in. Try to get into Radioalogy with a burium swallow for starters and get copies of the films for a doctor... Better yet, go see a bariatric surgeon. I am aware of one person with "odor" who had the duo-switch.

I was the last of 14 kids, my sister's told me sour cream was ice cream. I would eat it out of the container, the whole thing. They also did stuff like hold my hand in water while I was sleeping to see if i'd go pee. I still love them

Sour cream with anything is de-lish, Peanut butter and chocolate anything. When I was 4, I would feed the ducks worms....yes, I ate them too. Taste like chicken

First of all Congratulations, It’s a very hard decision to put children on drugs. I believe I had or even still have some form of ADD. I know I could have done better in school if I possibly had been treated. I also have a 2nd grader, Roxanne and even thou she’s an excellent student, as parents were noticing some dyslexia with numbers, it’s very minor, but were aware. Donali, I appreciate your views of Love and Pleasing. I try to show equal unconditional love to both my children. Even with a 3 year old boy who is very loving. We, (SO) and I try to promote a strong emotional foundation “big boys can cry”. It creates an open relationship. My SO is one of the most open, emotional people I know. He has deep feelings that I’ve never seen in any man before. Having children has taught me alot, I think back how I was raised, and there's no comparision.

What Teresa Said!!! Personally Bright, When I want to feel restriction, I'll eat a piece of chicken, steak, or dry tuna. those types of food have a hard time going down, they fill me up and even give me hiccups. When I feel the food that's how I register my restriction. Egg salad, tuna salad or anything smothered with dressing, mayo, or ketchup is like a lubricant and go's down easier for me. Breads are strange, I don't handle pizza dough or soft bread very well, but I can eat french bread and cake without any trouble. I try to avoid starches just because of carb/calorie intake. I bet you wish you had a fill doctor closer to you, just for a tweak. How bout a fill while your in NY/NJ...

US airport or Mexican airport?
Vera replied to BeachBabe(soon)'s topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Buss from San Antonio to Monterrey is 6 hours (I don't know personaly, I met Lynn in Mont. from San Ant) Flight into Monterrey is very beautiful. I know for a fact Dr. Sanchez has a personal driver to pick you up from the airport or the buss station. He'll, Sergio will hold up a sign with your name just past customs. Do give him a tip. Sergio will take you everywhere you need to go. Garza Garcia(where all the hospitals are) is about 40 minutes across town from the airport.
