So Glad your Home! Dang, I never saw a roach the 2 times I was there, I did kill a ckicket in the dinning room the first night now that I think about it. That would have freeked me out too. I'll have to inform Judy, she's going down at the end of the month. It was nice to meet you and chat about all the body issues and PS. Congratulations 13lbs is great!

Meshawn, I can't stand liquids anymore!!! I did a 1/2 yogart for lunch and the 4 spoons of jello here and there is about all I can take. I been takeing prevacid for 4 days now and my esophagus feels better, was haveing pain-heartburn every time I drank something. This band is different from my first, that's for sure, I'm tighter from the start. Hang in there your still healling. Things will get better. Say Hi to Mom. DoubleBandedVera

gypj (I sure have a hard time calling you this, how bout a nic name?) Are you under cover? If I'm guessing right, didn't they turn you upside down durning an x-ray? which threw off your groove....and you want to start excersizing? Take it slow. Am I part off this group? I did get a new band. :banana :banana Spring-Banders? Congratraulations everyone! DBV

Thanks for all your Love and Prayers It's good to be home! My old band that leaked was an AMI, made/distributed by CJ medical. All doctumentation collected, xrays, medical notes will be submitted to them (AMI), to pay for all services to re-band me. I did stay at the Guest-house as an out-patient to save a few bucks, that was my suggestion. I did feel much better this operation, very little pain or discomfort.

I just got off the plane…It’s good to be home. God Bless Dr. Sanchez and his staff. This morning, I’m in the shower when Dr. Suesanna was knocking on the door “hurry lets do a barium X-ray before you leave”. A short trip to the hospital where she slips me in the side door. The Barium swallow is perfect and I have restriction!! I have to tell myself sip, sip not gulp. It’s been so long since I wasn’t able to gulp. 2 hours later I’m on the plane. I have so much reading to catch up on...Arn't you in Tenn.? While in Mx, Billy was telling me that you were at our house…I was like No Way…he sure knows how to pull my leg.

4 Sucks, a Dang, a Crap and a total STINKS in this tread alone! I still try to have a sense of humor even thou Dr. Sanchez knows how sad I really am. There has been so much going through my mind, Donali I think you put it best, cause my band is good, and in the perfect position. Zoe, that's exactly how I feel. Pat, the tubing is defective and the proof/tube has to be submitted, so I don't have a choice. Dr. Sanchez has done nothing wrong, the sleeve technique has been used before with success, just not on me. My fear is of the new tubing springing a leak at the band connection and I'll be going right back again. Also what kind of tubing, the same type? No Way. From the research I've done so far, If I don't have any adhesions and the stomach is in good shape. I should be able to be re-banded all in the same operation. That's what I prefer, cause I don't want to come back down there again for anything band related and I want the 9.75 Inamed band. Leatha, thanks for returning my PM, That meant allot to me. I fly out on wednesday 3/30 early and come home saturday 4/2. Isa I'll meet you that night at the guest-house. Lisa, please don't worry, thanks for all your love. Oh I do believe in the Lord, Judy. I know he is with me and loves me. Thanks for all the prayers, I will check back, before I leave.

I have "Secret" security clearance and never thought of that....I better go ask my agent

I think it's harder if your always with them (stay at home mom). The very young don't have a clue...I just went away last month and here I go again. Explaining to my 7 YO, that I have to go away for any reason is so hard. So these days before I go, we have lots of activities and LITTLE instructions on how to help dad and young brother while i'm away. I hate leaving my family, then when I'm away, I'm on the phone too much.

I was on prednizone, for Ulcerative Colitus back in 2000, My doc was very aware of my history...Not a problem. Not on any steroids for years now

Leatha Did they replace your band on the spot...I believe so. I also remember a post of yours, of someone who was told she needed to have her band replaced (due to slippage) but her doctor in Mx, didn't and she's find now. I think you made a comment to thinking you really didn't need to have your band replaced. What do you think
-
Thanks for all the Hugs, This is the best support group ever. Well, I just talked to alma, Dr. Sanchez personal coordinator/admin. Asked her if they have had patients with replacement tubing's before? Yes, a few and they have been very successful. Why can't we just replace the band? He won't be able to decide to go that route until he gets in there and can see exactly what shape your stomach is in. There have been cases where he could replace a band same day as he's removing the old one but most times, he waits 3 months before fitting a new one on. It all depends on how good you stomach tissue/wall is in. Now of course I want a new 9.75 Inamed band, and will demand it. I'll be calling him on Monday due to this being religion weekend, unless an emergency. Meanwhile, I've got more research to do on those who have been rebanded. I also know of those who have had their ports replaced with new tubing. Know of anyone who had their band replaced??? Thanks for all of your concern, I wish you could all come with me.
