Good post Kat. I'm so happy for you. Thanks for sharing. Lisa, a simular situation happened in Mexico while I was there for my re-banding. Dr. Sanchez had banded a large BMI lady with the Inamed 10 and she couldn't swallow, she was even vomiting. The next day Dr. Sanchez went back in and removed fat between her stomach and the band. 2 days later she was at the guest house explaining the ordeal in detail and how happy she was.

Thanks for the Hug Leatha! Crystal, my jaw dropped. Dr. Indman is my original doctor. When I was 20 years old (1980) I had dysphasia (pre-cancer cells in the uterus) and was referred to him. He did laser a treatment using a telescoping camera, I got to watch the hole thing. He was my doctor all the way up to 1997 when he preformed my first ultrasound and announced I was 7 weeks pregnant. He also said he didn’t deliver babies anymore and referred me to my current doctor who is next door. I’m guessing you’re not coming down here to have this procedure done? Dr. Indman is on the cutting edge of medical science, best of luck and keep me informed.

Thanks for all the well wishes and the prayers, you’re all so awesome, just call me the surgery queen. My friend said that I just like having surgery for the good drugs and a hospital vacation away from the kids. I doubt this will be my last surgery. I want a face lift, TT and a new chin some day. Thanks Kelley! I do feel 30 sometimes. Crystal, the cauterizing I mentioned is called a UAE, uterine artery embolization. Studies have shown that symptoms improve for a year or two after having a UAE done, but most women then have recurrence of symptoms. I sat with my doctor for over 20 minutes covering my options and the side effects of hysterectomy. New studies in these situations have shown an increase of sexual drive and desire post hysterectomy (as long as you keep your ovaries) mostly because the pain and discomfort are gone. My doc suggested a H a year ago and I said no way, but I can't live like this anymore. Hang in there.

Susie, I believe they're called Breath-rite strips. My SO says they work on me. I do remember Carol giving me a nudge in the middle of the night, while in Vegas. I snore when I on my back, a nudge is my roll over push...Your device sounds better. My room-mates and I were a fine bunch, Michelle was freezing and a bit gassy. I kept grasping for air, opening the window, turning up the air-conditioner (caught a cold) and snoring. Carol's band was tight, she had some trouble keeping food down. But I would'nt trade them for anything, the first night we all talked for hours just lying in bed. I had a great time. Vegas was a blast.

When I was a kid, my sisters would tell me sour cream was ice cream. I'd eat the whole container. I'm so sick of cottage cheese.

This is interesting that you said this…My ex-husband would never trust me, "without trust I have nothing" I would tell him and the marriage counselor. He stated he was cheated on by his first wife and how could he ever trust again. I didn't want to admit I made a mistake marring him…than I just couldn't take all the accusations anymore, I didn't do anything with anybody (this was just my situation) but it's hard when it happens twice....Another thing that marriage counselor would say is that we have to argue. I hate to argue, can't stand it even now. Billy and I talk allot but I refuse to argue. We all have baggage…from childhood even. I tell myself get over it, move on. Crap and get off the pot! I'll be the first person to admit I'm not the easiest person to live with. Finding oneself is hard enough to do…Please think of yourself as #1 Good luck to both of you Love and Hugs

Hi My name is Vera And I'm a Chocoholic! The smell, the taste…be it Hershey's, Mars or 3 musketeers. Dark, light or milk chocolate. It has brought me down to a very low level. I must quit cold turkey. Today is a new day...I will not eat chocolate!

I took a bite of a peach the other day, it was'nt quit ripe. I chewed and chewed..then I gave the rest to my kid. About an hour later it felt stuck, it took another hour for it to pass. I still learn the hard way.
