I have a question for you cuz i know your preg. I have a hard time taking vitamins so now im just taking gummy ones but i was fine are prenatal vitamins . So I was thinking maybe I can just continue my prenatals. Are you on prenatals along with the multi you take or are you just on multi??? Did your doc say prenatals have enough vitamins in them????

tmela28 replied to tmela28's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements

Well I just tried that and stopped after 2 baby spoons cuz it felt like i ate a brick yikes no ricotta for me! Baby spoons meaning what i use for my 8 month old super small .I was really looking forward to ricotta and that was a disappointment back to broth for me . My doc didnt even say i can have pureed soups only ricotta yogurt and cottage cheese. Does frozen yogurt apply you think? -
LOL I like this post I always wonder what people ate as there "last meal" . I ate chinese and honestly as I sit here and havent eaten except for the chinese and not even the night before few days before I feel like I should have splurged more. I havent eaten anything but broth and ice pops very sick of Jello dont even touch it anymore in about 5 weeks. Im glad I followed directions but all these docs have different rules I wonder if me not eating for this long is really necessary. I had surgery on june 28 and still on broth by now im pretty used to it but fod still looks good

I dont know if anyone is interested in this but if you go on the Atkins website they sell : Penne 11 grams of Protein 1 gram of sugar and only 19 grams of Net Carbs....you get net carbs by subracting the Fiber and polyols from total carbs. The Atkins website explains it !!!!! Isnt that realllly good.???? I mean Im new to this and cant even eat food yet . But do you guys think this is good. Considering Pasta has 42 grams of carbs!

You can take Biotin(Vitamin H). I even got it at my doctors office . Call to be sure ur dr is ok with is but thats what we all take.

Compression Garments?
tmela28 replied to Sleevie WonderLand's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Iv been wearing one everyday for like 2 years I became so used to the tight feeling i couldnt leave the house with out it plus it makes you look smooth not full of rolls. Im hoping since i did so I may not get as much loose skin. My favorite one is by fleexes they sell at kohls. Its not tooooooo tight and a goood length . There is lace at the bottom but I always cover it . -
Im 26 years old 2 weeks post op and feel pretty good . I did not experience much pain so dont be scared about that, Everyday after you will feel a little better., The only thing that used to bother me was getting up and down and literally everyday it felt a little bit better even before a week i felt ok. The gas didnt bother me to much and didnt experience chest pain, About the skin i have the same question. People just say everyones diff and if we work out a lot it should help. But being young does def help.

Iv tried a bunch and so for there brutal the c lear ones the isopure i had to cut with Water which took longer to consume it alll and I got a blitz one which I could not even stand and didnt even want to miz with water,,,my friend told me special k ones were ok they only have like 15 grams but thats better then nothing! Muscle miilk was ok but I still couldnt get down a whole bottle. But the jayRobb Protein powder that you blend yourself was ok. Hope this helps . And the Atkins royal chocolate was good but only like 15 grams.

I take mine 3x a week. Maybe you should call. They may have meant to write once a day and wrote once a week by mistake. Or at least call and have them give you a reason as to why they said only once a week if thats what they meant ya know. . timestamp='1310564976' post='178716'] I was told to take the B12 sublingual pill once a week. I took it for the first time today and it took about 10 full minutes for it to melt. Is that right? I also noticed that the directions on the bottle said daily but I was told once a week. What are others doing?
