Globe I agree with OD talk it out. Men are dense and often don't realize what vibes they put in the world. He may have some heavy "man crap" going on he hasn't shared with u yet. Tell him what's up and what u want. Be prepared for some comprimse cause no man is perfect. But don't settle for anyone that doesn't make u feel loved Cgj I think your lucky to keep finding good potentials. Good for u for staying in the game. Some women might have given up and raised 50 cats. Good luck with this one OD follow your gut. Explore I am still fasting 2 to 3 days a week. Just can't get my big but to work out!! Still bouncing around the same stupid 5 pounds.once I want it bad enough I will find the time to work out and move beyond the spot I am in now Part of a school supply give awya at my church this weekend. That's always a fun hectic time for me. Have a good wEekend! -

Hi ladies. Oh. Coops, Georgia and Cathy (and anyone else in this boat). I am there with u. Still struggling to keep the scale moving down. I know what I should it. I know I need more exercise. I know I need to leave the carbs alone! Picture me hitting my self in the head. Why oh why do I not have the will power to do it. It was so easy during the initial stage and even year two. This is the first time I have gained and gone 2lbs over my weight Personally I am in the mod I was prior to the surgery. Trying to diet and nothing works so I eat what ever. Then try to diet again. I know we should be out of the diet mode and eating should be a life style. I agree with that. If I can just get the brain to stay in that mode I could be sucessful. Apparently lifestyle eating for me is good for maintnance but not good for losing Has anyone tried an over the counter appetite surpressant that's helped? My nemisis is carbs!! Good news only 2lbs over (I still weigh daily). Good news I will not give up! Good news I know I am not alone and have support! Good news I know I can do it! Cyber hugs -

Hi Ladies. Finally the play is over and was a huge hit! My cast bought my vision to life. I felt like a proud mamma. Laughs in the right places and the songs just came off so well. I wish I had pics. I really tried to get some but the day got away from me and I didn't have a chance once it started. I was in the tech booth manning the music board and making sure the lighting guy didn't miss his cues. Everyone said they really enjoyed it. I am so glad its over. On a down note my mom has lost the ability to walk. I was picking her up Sunday for church as I do every Sunday and she littterly fell in my arms while getting her in the car. I am taking it worst then she is. I know in my mind this isn't true but I can not express how horribly guilty I feel for putting her in their. I feel like if she was still at home she would have been forced to continue to use her walker and not spend so much time in the wheel chair. I honestly thought they would give her more physical therpy but they haven't done much and now she can't walk. Legs and hips are muscles u don't use them u will lose them. I kept trying to make her use her walker more but... We are were we are. Now I must fight to get her rehab to walk again. My next focus is to get her out of there. The place is not bad no one is really to blame. But I will never forgive myself if she dies in there. Kim I have u and your mom in my prayers Everyone have a fun 4th and stay safe!! -

Hey ladies Quick question. When we drastically reduce the number of daily calories should we suplement with protien shakes to get weight loss? Reducing calories and increasing exercise helps with weight loss but we have to get a certain amount of protien to get weight loss too right? -

Sar good for you and hubby speaking up about your InLaws. I can relate. Caring for parents is really hard. I mentioned I had to make the tough decision to coax my mom into a nursing home. She is 77 but years of dialysis has taken a toll on her. She can hardly walk uses a walker to get around and was falling very often in her apt. She had care givers coming in to help dress and clean but still was lots of time alone. I would have to drive across town to get her dressed for bed and into bed to be sure she didn't fall. It was getting very difficult for everyone. I convinced her it was safer for her in a nursing home. She's been there since april and absolutly HATES it!! The people there are much older then her and are in real coma like states. Aids don't come when she calls. And she says there isn't much to do. However she's not falling any more. I feel bad she has to spend her last years in a place she hates. So I am working on getting my house suitable to bring her in. But gotta work on that with hubby. She always has snide remarks about him. "Why doesn't he do that" "why doesn't he cook more" she tends to wanna run things. Hard to shut her down and let me run my house. URGH!! Her memory is getting really bad. Hasn't been diaognosed with Alz but its really bad So Sar I feel for you. Caring for your parents is like caring for a child takes time patience love and the strength to make the tough decisions. We do the best we can
