rebecca b replied to Lissa's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
WOW! that's all I can say. Keep up the hard work! sleeved 12-19-11 -
I love my sleeve, the reasons why? I no longer feel much physical hunger the head hunger i am working on. For the first time in my life I feel full after eating a very small meal. I don't have to worry about a artifical device in my body causing complications. I have lost 53lbs since dec 12th! My friends with the band have not acheived this in years of having the device. I was diabetic and now I am off all my meds, and 2 out of three of my pressure meds. sleeved 12-19-11

rebecca b replied to kayte819's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Lissa I agree with you , after getting getting the Water and Protein in there is not much more room. We all need some carb, so I tend not worry about that too. sleeved 12-19-11 -

Starting Mushies, Feeling Guilt. Wth?!
rebecca b replied to AliveAgain's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am still getting these feeling, and sometimes have dreams that I won't lose anything, I do, and you will too. It's slow and steady there is no race. I am two months out now and can eat more that before. I track everything and try not to get nutso if I get to 1200 calories. I remember that it takes my body 2300 calories to maintain, and that I will lose weight. It's just a overwhelming change. But we will all get there together! sleeved 12-19-11 -

Libido Sudden Increase?
rebecca b replied to monty's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
lol got the same thing going on too. The extra weight decreases hormones levels, so as we lose it the hormone levels increase. I didn't have a monthly for a long time, and now it's back on the regular. Enjoy you new found libido! Happy Valentines sleeved 12-19-11 -

I am just stuck in a general funk. I have made no weight loss progress for 2 weeks. I track everything I am eating with phone app. I range between 700-1200 calories. about 60g of Protein getting about 48 ounces of Fluid. I can eat everything except breads rice. Started back on Protein shakes yesterday to see if that helps. I feel like I eat too much no matter what I eat. I am also struggling with a lot of head hunger. I am committed to get through this, and be successful. I did not go through this to fail. I guess I am somewhat jealous of my co-worker who had gastric bypass 10/26 and hit the 75lb lost mark. Any advice would be appreciated! Sleeved 12/19/11
