just little about myself. the reason why i had the lapband was because of my very bad knees. After a doctors tells you if you don't get your weight down within the next year we will be replacing both knee at the age of 33! i knew i had to do something and something fast. my family history has very bad knees and hips and to be overweight was a big X against me. Also i just found out i have PCOS and after my weight hit over 200 pounds i no longer had periods. So here i am married 16yrs, no kids, bad knees, bad hips all because i just cant seem to control my eating. So sad.... well guess what! I'm done feeling sorry for myself and knowing the lapband at any point can be takin out if something was to go wrong i went for it!! I had my surgery November 4th 2011and so far only had one side effect constipation. lol... but after calling my wonderful doctor on his personal cell phone at 10pm at night he help me right through it! My husband and i are so excited after 16yrs together that we might have a really good chance at having a baby and if not then we will both just be grateful for the good health we are both hoping with this lapband for me.
