Make sure you keep your hands busy, doing non-food related things....lol I'm pre-op for sleeve, but remember the liquid phase when I was getting my lapband...just keep busy.... I will pray for ya!

I picked mine through word of mouth...spoke with 2 people who had the procedure and they both recommended him.....plus it doesnt hurt that he's been on a reality show about weightloss...

friend of mine had a husband like that....the key word is "had"....after having Gastric Bypass surgery and losing almost 200 pounds he didnt change, now she's in the process of getting a divorce....and he's SUPPOSE to be a preacher.... No one should take abuse, life is too short, either being overweight or thin, to take abuse from anyone....I'll tell you what I told her, you have to be make yourself happy, and dont use the kids as a excuse, having 2 unhappy people in their life will do more harm than you staying there!

well it looks like you have to use the photo tab at the top of the page...then if you never created an album you create one then you are able to upload photos.... have you tried the tab at the top of the page???

did you check to see if your pics are jpeg? if not, that could be the problem

I agree with your friend as well...you should always contact your doctor if you are having issues. I believe people come on here and ask health questions as a form of "vertfication" No one likes to feel like something is just happening to them

Has anyone considered or is in therapy for weightloss/body image issues??? I know people do not like talking about therapy and please dont take it that I am snooping into your life....the question that has been on my mind for a while....mainly because I'm planning to have revision surgery in June and wondering would it be benefitial for me because I've been overweight since age 8, and since having the lapband for the last 7 years has failed me... I guess I'm just afraid of failure again and want to help myself as much as I can...

could also be from not getting in enough protein...I'm still pre-op so I'm just guessing....have you been trying to get some in??

Nope, you had the slimes....I still have my lapband and get it whenever I eat bread or do not chew my food enough...

Hi! The reason why I am having my lapband removed is because it does not work for me....you are so not alone....I was banded in 2005 and have lost a grand total of....10pounds!! and I have over 100 pounds to lose! I understand your inital feeling of being a failure, I still do not tell anyone that I have a lapband. Everyone knows I am having gastric sleeve surgery...but only a few people know I have a lapband and I am actually having revision surgery....
