You should not do the same thing for the same reasons with the sleeve...if you eat and drink at the same time, you will not get the nutrients that you need to get from food....plus if you drink and dont wait the 10-30 min you should before eatting you will not get the sense of "fullness" that you should get...this is what I was told by my NUT at my session....

The Nectars are good....they mix with water and tastes like fruit juice....and no protien after taste, well atleast not for me....I like them...

just a quick question....are there health insurance plans that cover body lifts....and also if not how much do they usually run.....I have alot to lose, and hoping I will not need too much work, but I would like to start sacing my pennies early.... thanks!

I've had experience with the surgical gas before with 2 previous procedures....walking is really the only way to get rid of surgical gas....I'm assuming the Gas-x is for an upset stomach maybe...I plan to buy some to have at home just incase....

I've been hearing that the pre-op diet is rough....but I have to do it....just have to take it day by day.....use at as a time to reflect on what I have decided to do and look forward to the future!

well you may lose the excess weight during your pre-op diet....I'm too having the same issue...I've gained 15 pounds since my Dr. loosen my band to help me get ready for revision... Just stick to the pre-op diet, that's what I plan to do in 1 week....but dont beat yourself up about it....it is good that you stopped smoking....

My insurance denied RNY and Lapband back in 2005, so I self-paid for lapband....now 7 years later, after changing districts, my new school district has a exclusion for any WLS, so I have to self-pay for my revision...

I've mixed chike with both water and then with soy milk once...I prefer it mixed with soy milk

I'm so looking forward to wearing the suits I bought 3 years ago...I know it sounds corny, and the style my be outdated now ( I bought 2 capri suits) but I can't wait to wear them, I bought them on clearance and when I got them home I could wear them but it was too snug, I was afraid I would pop someone's eye out with a button, lol I imagine I need to be down another 25 pounds before they will remotely fit me again

lol, yeah, I know right! I start mines in 2 weeks....I'm planning to start it a week early in case my students mess me up the last week of school by bringing cupcakes and stuff....lol

yeah, mines is different....I'm doing a 2-week full liquids diet....no foods....4-5 protien shakes, broth, SF popsciles, sf jello...nothing else

Although I am a self-pay patient, I do understand your frustration. TLC staff is usually very nice and curtious, but they will not automatically contact you about your test results....four times I had to call them to get my sleep study and my Scope results.....as far as insurance, like I said, I'm self-pay, I wished my insurance would pay.... My suggestion is you see that you will have to stay on top of them....do it...some doctor offices are better than others in processing paperwork, keep calling every 2 to 3 days to check the status....
