Cheri! Thank you for the encouraging words!. I am having my surgery on Nov. 28th. I am diabetic and drinking the protein shakes on day three of thirteen, my sugar got down to 64. I will see my doctor tomorrow. The surgeon's nurse told me to eat one meal a day. I sure hope I can get off my meds. I know with God all things are possible. Sure glad I ran across your post, and will certainly take your advice. Thanks, Jimmie Determinded and Ready -

I too will be drinking my Thanksgiving! My surgery is on the 28th of November. I am having a houseful of relatives this year but I am determined this has to be a life changing thing, so might as well get my mind set. Good luck and God Bless! -

No required liquid diet, should i do it anyway?

I'm also on the same liquid diet but mine is for 13 days. I have surgery on the 28th. I am amazed I haven't cut my throat yet. lol I am able to drink coffee, tea without sugar, and chicken and beef bullion and Water. The strawberry Protein shake is not too bad but only on day two. Let me know how you do. We should lose lots of weight on this I would think! Good Luck to all. -
Oh my word! You are beautiful. I just now saw this picture. I am going to do my best to make this work for me. I'm sure i'll have lots of questions after my surgery. All I can say is you look amazing and know you must to be proud! -

I am a 62 year old grandmother who is anxious to change my life. I am tired of being tired all the time, and want to be able to watch my grandsons grow up. One is in his first year of college and the other is a first grader. I would love to hear your stories of success or problems. Maybe we can share something that could help each other. Thanks!
