Hello,
My name is Michelle and I originally had my lapband surgery Feb 1, 2005.  After losing 78 lbs and keeping it off for 3 years my band slipped and I had replacement surgery Nov of 2008, weighing 150.  I never lost weight only gained or maintained since having my band replaced.  I found out I was pregnant May 2010 and had all my fluid taken out but there was only 1/2 of what was documented.  So after going back to my surgeon a couple months ago I was told that my port had a leak and it needed to be replaced....Nov 2,2011 I had my port replaced and moved to a new spot so hopefully I can start having restriction and lose the weight I need to lose.  I really think these bands need to come with a warranty, I mean 3 surgeries in 6 yrs is not a good outcome.  I'm just hoping and praying I can achieve the great results I had with my original band : )
