Intersted in hearing how you all are doing and any adivce you wish someone told your your frist week out!!

Thanks for the adivce, it has been hard especially wanting to eat, I thought I would not have any hunger pains, boy was I wrong. The gas pain and shoulder is craaaazy!! But today is much better, trying to get my protien in and Water. Another question, I bought this liquid Vitamins at all natural and vegan, but! it is very green and has particuls, which I am sure is great but don't think I ready to drink that. Any recommendations on how I can get my vitiamns with over the counter products??? Thanks for the help.

So glad to hear that what I am feeling is normal. I am on my 4th day of post op and my gas was so bad for the past 2 days I thought I was having a heart attack and neede to go to the emergncy room. Not only do I have gas that makes it hard to take deep breaths when I walk (which makes walking super hard) but I had a horrible quink in my back (behind my left shoulder pad, just to add to the pain), I couldn't even lift my arm, until my mom started massaging my back and we found the quink (that was great, at least I knew it was not a blood clot, my mind was playing tricks on me), I have a brookstone massager and that help get rid of the big stress quink in my back, but still have shoulder pain, not as bad as yesterday that I just could not do anything to help my self. So much that today I was very afraid to eat anything but warm water and some sips of my protien shake. Today I drinking hot tea before bed and getting aback rub, which helps with the pain and gas, Plus plus!!
