    I Gained .4 Lbs!

Thanks to everyone who commented. I was totally discouraged but I think I'm getting a good grip on things now. I lost 1 lb this week and after reading I decided that I should only weigh once a month. Weekly weigh ins add too much pressure!! I started taking the acid reducer medication and thankfully the gas pains and the bloated feelings are happening less and less. I feel better but am still careful about what I'm eating. I feel encouraged by all the comments and will keep going! Thanks again y'all!!!

    I Gained .4 Lbs!

Thanks for the words of encouragement!! It's amazing how such a small gain can lead to a huge disappointment. You're right though! i'm going to get back on track and keep on working towards my goal weight.

    I Gained .4 Lbs!

I can't believe I gained .4 lbs this week. It's been 5 weeks since my surgery and this past week was the first time I was able to eat some solid foods. I didn't think I overdid it since the minute I felt full I would either stop eating or my body would stop me from eating any more but I guess I was wrong. I have to admit that I am disappointed because I've lost 25 pounds since my surgery and the pounds have been coming off consistently each week. I keep reading that I need to get at least 800 calories in and I know that hadn't happened until this week but maybe I need less calories. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for having lost as much as I have in such a short amount of time, I just want to make sure I'm moving in the right direction. Any advice out there?
  4. I GAINED 0.4 LBS!!

  5. That's awesome. I haven't even tried to measure my caloric intake. I'm still on mostly mushy foods which is driving me crazy. My doctor recommended I stay on each diet stage for three weeks so the week of Thanksgiving is going to be my first week on semi solid foods. I tried a tiny piece of fish the other day and it did not sit well with me, needless to say I was in the bathroom for most of the afternoon. I'm also HATING the Iron supplement. It is disgusting!!! Are you finding it difficult to find foods that go down well? Sorry for the complaints!
  6. Hey everyone! My sleeve surgery was on October 21st and since then I have lost 20 lbs. I'm really excited about the weight loss and am hoping to get tips from those out there who have been so successful! So glad I found this forum!
