Over the years, I have done every diet known to man. Yes I could loose a bit of weight here and there, but somehow those pounds always find their way back to my body and bring along friends and family. I have been battling high blood pressure for the past 3 years and controlling it has been an nightmare. I am currently taking 6 different medications every morning. Last winter I started considering the drastic measure of surgery and began my research quietly. After attending a seminar, I was totally convinced that I was ready, only to find that BCBS of Alabama would require a strict program before possibly considering an approval. Here I am on the other side of that program, waiting for my GP's office to give me my final medical clearance letter, and suddenly I'm terrified that I won't be approved.
