Hi I'm from Howard County and I was also banded at GBMC my doctor is Dr.Moeinolmolki I don't go to none of there meetings because I have classes at night but I do come here mostly to just read I harly ever post. Some people here are to harsh in my opinion. This is a learning progress for us all. But reading some things help me a lot. Best of luck to everyone.

I'm having the same problem able to eat everything but bread. I talk to my doctor but he said he won't give me no fill until I get my diet straight. Its so hard for me because I never fell full. I also have 6ccs iny band. Good luck

I have had my surgery on 4/20/12 and I had my first fill of 5cc on 5/13/12 now I'm have a lot of pressure in my left side of chest. I don't know what this could be. Tracey Sher

No it's not the port site. I never had any problem with pain. I never even felt like I had surgery. Now I got this fill I'm having the pain in the lower part of my left side it's right where my ribs end. I hope u will be felling better soon. -

Thank you all for your help. My pain is under my boob like in the ribs. I'm bealching a lot so I guess it gas. It fells better after a bealch. But then it starts up again. So I just have 2 wait until this goes away. I hope it will go away. Thank you all again. -
Dr. Appointment 2day got my first fill of 5cc. So happy now I hope this unwanted fat goes away:)

You've only been banded since April 24th. That's 6 days. Most people don't start losing until after they get a fill or two and have some restriction. The first month after surgery is for healing only not losing. My advice is to put away the scale for a month and give yourself time to heal. I'm so happy that I read this I'm only 10 days out of surgery n my weight I have been checking everyday I was down 8lbs until 2day n my weight has went back up 2lbs. I was so worried because I just starter purée 2day so I thought that had something 2 do with my weight gain. I get on my treadmill everyday for 30-40 minunte's a day n still gained 2lbs. -

My surgery went a lot better then I expected. I have no pain it don't even fell like I had surgery. But my tummy is really ugly:( I have no complaints so far:)

2day is the big day. I'm getting ready 2 go 2 the hospital with my hubby by my side. I pray everything goes as good as I hope it is.

I never knew that it would cost so much 2 loos weight. I just got done doing my last bit of shopping n I could not believe the cost of all this diet stuff. I'm happy that this is just 4 the beginning. I hope this is worth all my money I have spent:)

I'm going in for my surgery on 4/20/12 n I don't have 2 do any diet. I just have 2 do clear liquids 24hours prior 2 surgery n nothing after midnight.

I going with the band after all. Still scared but I know this is the safest surgery 4 me. I just hope that I don't have any problems swallowing. I don't want no elephant on my chest. I'm still not 2 happy because I fell like I'm going 2 fail with the lap band or not lose enough of weight but I'm ready 2 give this my all.

I'm waiting on a call to see if I'm going 2 be able to change form the lap band to the gastric sleeve. I just don't think I can do this lap band I have been so discouraged from reading all these post here. Although they are very positive story's on here 2 but I just don't think I can handle not being able 2 eat solid food if that indeed happens. Not sure if it will. But if I don't get 2 have the sleeve I'm going 2 just do my best with the band because my ultimate g...

OMG I hope I don't have this problem I tell u the more I read on here the more confused I get about getting this surgery done. But I don't have much time because I'm going in on 4/20. But congrats on all your weight loss. I hope that everything works out 4 you.
