Saturday morning and I'm up early. I have to go in to work today for 3 hours. Can't wait to get it over, it's beautiful outside today. Want to get home so I can get some more work done out in the backyard and maybe soak up some son. Went to Hy-Vee's yesterday and got some Kabobs. Hubby and I share one and I get extra veggies to grill also. I ate some watermelon last night and sure enough I made 3trips to the little girls room over night. But it was so good and I plan on having more today. One thing about it is that it fills me up fast. That and a little salad and I'm good for dinner. Went Thursday to the health market and got some more "Kashi" protein drink. Need to get back to my drinking more and better. Have a great day.

Another full day ahead for me. Got to do my shift at work and than come home and shovel more landscape rock. I need to get it all up so when they bring in the new stuff I can just lay it down. We should finish up the fence this weekend, hopefully tomorrow. I've been doing really good at not walking but yesterday was our day to cut the grass at the church. I walked pushing a mower for 3 hours.....my foot was kind of hurting a little. Haven't decided if I'll work out today or not. I miss it. Everyone have a great day.

Good Morning Girls, Been really busy the last couple of days. Just a bunch of regular stuff. Running around and working and cleaning and yard stuff and fencing. Today is our day to mow the grass at our Church. So another busy day for us. You guys are soooo lucky. Your trip is finaly here. I'm sorry that I'm not able to go with you. I will miss you alot. Take lots of pics for Gina and me. Are we the only 2 not going? All of you have a very safe trip, enjoy yourselves and have a safe trip home. I'll be thinking of you. Hugs to you all.

Long weekend here. The fencing material came in last week and we spent all weekend working out in the yard. Boy are we all sore. They guys worked on the fence and I shoveled landscape rock. I'm removing what we have so they can deliver 2 tons next week. I wold like for all of it to match. I was trying to move a huge box over to the deck by pulling it and got my feet tangled up and went down on my arsssss. Close call. My head came inches from hitting the steps. Took me a sec to figure out I hadn't broke anything. So up I got and went back to work. I've done most of the clean up after the guys. All in all it was a really good weekend. I'll try to send a pic of the guys. Yes you right, the Doc told me to stay off the walking for a couple of weeks but I don't think he knew at the timethat David was coming. I'll stay off of it this week, no working out for me. I'm to sore anyway.... My neice is the one that dated David several times and they have remained friends. He texted her over the weekend. I agree that both Davids are good and that they both deserve to win, but a home town boy is hard to not vote for.

Ok Guys, we need a head count. Is everyone ok? How were the storms? Did anyone have damage? I'm praying all is ok with everyone. Talked to my Aunt in Joplin and my cousin in Monett and they were all right. Let us know how you are doing.

Oh, yesterday I walked a mile to go see "David Cook". I decided to take my chair and walk up to the parkway to see the High School band preform and to see him. He looks exactly like he does on TV. But he looked kind of pale. Everyone said the same thing. I didn't stay for the concert. There was over 10,000 people there and I was pooped. I found my neighbors in the crowd and we walked back home together. It was fun and I'm glad I did it. The fence is going in today. Everyone have a great weekend.

Laura, I watched the video and the first thing I noticed was the very first newscaster used to do the news here. He was new and hadn't been here very long when they brought in a new co-anchor. She was such a snot to him. He has a very warm and funny personnality and this woman was all prim and proper, you could tell she just wasn't whip about him. Well guess what? She got her wish and he was gone. I don't watch that news channel anymore. She's so snooty. I hated to see him go. Glad to see you have him now, you'll like him he's a good guy.

Judy, Love you Halo.. Wish I had a shiny one like that. But on the serious side. I loved the pic, all 3 of you look wonderful. Hey, did I mention that the other day at my doctor's visit that we discovered that I have a sprained foot. Doc says to lay off the walking for a week or 2. (slaps head). But I did get some good news. My A1C was 5.6. I was so happy about that. If I keep that up, they will take me off my meds soon. Took Diane to see her surgeon yesterday and she was telling him that she needs to start working on losing some weight. He told her that she could lose 10 pounds and gain 15 back. That her best bet would be to join Weight Watchers or some group like that. That people who lose weight in a group have a better chance at losing it and keeping it off. We said we totally agree with him and she told him that I go to WW every week even thoug I have a lap-band. He agreed, He said that you can gain 150 pounds witht the band. If you sit and eat ice cream, which goes right thru the band. It's still the mental issue. And that is what I struggle with. The menal issue of it. Even though I have the band and that I am losing weight, I still have a eating disorder. Diane doesn't need a band, she only needs to lose about 50 to 60 pounds. She's a good eater as appossed(sp?) to me whose eat is out of control. Have to work this morning and than coming hme to clean the house. We start putting in the fence tomorrow. Yesterday hubby and I went to Home Depot and spent over $900.00 on supplies. Cement, post, storage bin, hardware etc,etc,etc. We ordered 1 & 1/2 tons of landscape rock. By the way, When you are watching American Idol next week. If you look really really hard you might be able to see my house. This Friday they are having a parade for David up on Adam's Dairy Parkway and that is less than a quarter mile from my house. Depending on which angle they shoot from. It starts from the corner by my house and ends up at Blue Springs South High School. They are having a concert and have sold 10,000 tickets. They were $5.00 apiece and the money is going to the American Cancer Society. Than they are whisking him off to the "Royal's" game. He will sing "Take me out to the ballgame". There was already a group of middle school kids scheduled to sing the Anthem. David didn't want to take that away from them and their parents. Even though he is from here, I think he has the most talent of them all.

I was marreid befrore there was anthing going on the internet, but I have met alot of really nice people on here. Just look at you guys. But I have met people from other sites and still remain friends with them. Big day yesterday. 2 Docotr's appointments and all went well, will just have to wait till test results come back. Hopefully cholesterol hasn't gone back up. He wants me to lay off the walking for awhile. Seems I have a sprained foot. No wonder it's been hurting, duh. We got our tax stimulus, it was direct deposited. And our fence material came in. Should have our fence up by Sunday. Can't hardly wait. Pool people said that the are waiting for the rains to end and the ground to dry up. They should have been out this week, hoping for next week. Long day today. One thing I am doing is going to go watch my BIL get a tattoo. I bought him a t-shirt last summer while we were in St. Louis from Budweiser and it has the neatest scroll work on it. I told him it would look good as a tattoo and he took it to a place and they are going to enlarge it and place it between his shoulders on his back. Can't wait to see it. Everyone have a great day. Ok, with all the crappy weather you guys have had. How do you get any exercising done? I love to get outside and walk and thank goodness our weather has been good enough for that. They are calling for rain tonight and maybe into tomorrow. Let me know what kind of exercising you guys do. Do you go to a gym or do you workout at home? Have a great day.

Morning, Not much going on here today. They are calling for off and on rain today and tomorrow. Guess no pool while that is going on. I have to work the late shift today. Tuesdays are always slow so that makes it kind of nice. I can sit and play my gameboy while I'm there. We sat outside last night and listened to the Royal's game. I put hot dogs on the grill and we just eat them plain. No buns, no mustard, no relish. Hubby gets the regular hot dogs and I get the turkey dogs. Everyone have a great day.

Kim, No I won't be going on the trip. I just have too much going on in my life. I just can't get away and besides I don't fly. I looked up otherways of getting there but it just wasn't going to work out. And I'm not up to driving all that way by myself. It sounds like they are going to have to much fun. I hope I don't feel left out when they get back. Legster, I was always one the avoided cameras. Now I search for any old pictures I can get my hands on. I just can't get over the transformation I have gone thru. I still have a long ways to go But seeing where I was is a big boost to me. Please take pics of yourself. You will be glad you did and please don't ever feel that you can't post them here. You are going thru anything that we haven't already gone thru or have said to our ownselves. Your doing great and be proud of it. Supposed to get up in the 80's here in the big city but calling for rain the next few days.
