Kat, good luck at the Doc's tomorrow. Hopefully he will know why it's still weeping and can get it stopped for you. Tracy, Thanks for asking. Hubby is home and doing great. Doc said everything looked wonderful and won't have to repeat it for another five years. He did remove 2 very teeny polyps but said that he knew that they were benign. He sent them off to be biopsied anyway. Not much happened today. After we got home it was pretty quite. Went to the neighbors for awhile and than came home and fixed salads for dinner. Hope everyone had a great day.

Up and getting ready to take Hubby to the hospital. He's having a colonoscopy done this morning. He did his prp last night and survived it. Just need to get him through the next 4-5 hours. Tracy, I am so very proud of you and of my hubby for quiting smoking. I know from being an ex-smoker that it's a hard road. You need to give yourself time to let your body adjust to the changes it's been going through. His last smoke was March 17th and he's gained about 12 pounds. TracyKS, I got my invite for the celebration at New Hope. Are you gong to be one of the Models???? You should be. I doubt very much that I will be going to it. I do go see Malley this Monday. Talked to hubby yesterday and showed him all the pics from your trip. I told him that you guys were thinking of doing a cruise and having the spouses come along. I couldn't imagin going without him. He seemed pretty open to the idea. Just need to figure out how to get us there with out flying. :smile2: Can we cruise the "Mississippi????About ten years ago we took a four day trip to Memphis and had a ball. I couldn't believe how much there is to do there. We went to the "Peabody" and saw the ducks. We went to "Beale Street" and drank and listened to Blues & Jazz. B.B. King has a place there. We spent half a day on "Mud Island". We went golfing, shopping and eating. We did Graceland. But the most impressive place we went to was the Children's Hospital. I will never forget being there and how it changed my life. Makes me think twice about saying or doing anything without thinking first. They have a really neat visitor center and Danny Thomas is buried there. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is plenty of things to do to keep us busy and still have time to visit. I'm going to try to do my best to be at the next get together.

Hubby just came out and asked if I was expecting a package. He said the postman is coming to the door. I told him I hadn't ordered anything in a couple of weeks. I asked him if it was addressed to me or my sis, he said it was for me. And it was. I got a package from Haydee..... Thank You so much for sending the "Cracklings". I've never had them before. Never even tried pork rinds. But I will give these a try. Thank You so much for thinking of me.

We almost caved in yesterday and turned the air on. It was so humid and hot. Sis came upstairs and said "Did you know it's 90 degrees in here?". Glad we held out. We just stayed out on the deck till around 8:30 than came in. By that time the house was starting to cool off. Right now it's only 68 degrees. Such a contrast to yesterday. My eating frenzy is still alive and going strong. Can't figure out why I'm like this. Just feel like I have to eat everything. Maybe I need to put some hot sauce on my fingers. That way everytime they get close to my mouth I'll stop. What do you think???? Drove over to my Sister's and took the back roads. Went by the cemetery and they had all the flags out. Hello, I'm not on a plateau right now. I have been in thpast. Right now I am steadily losing but at a slower pace than I would really like to. My last 2 visits to the Doctors has resulted in me not getting a fill. He likes how I'm losing and thinks I'm at a comfortable spot. However this next monday when I go in I don't think it's going to be so good. I've been eating like I need to store up for the winter. The last plateau I had mad me want to pull my hair out. I kept thinking, why did I put myself through surgery and everything else just to stay at one weight. If I remember correctly it lasted about five weeks before I started losing again. And it just wasn't the weight that was coming off, it was also the inches. I think I was more excited about that. My clothes fit so much better. The biggest thing I learned through that was to just wait. It will end and I will be back to losing again. I need to give my body time to figure out what is going on and let it adjust. Hang in there, it will all work out.

Just got home from Wal-mart and decided to make some pillsbury cinnamon twist. I ate 2 and am now mad that I did. Got the slimy stuff going on. Yuck. Rainy here right now. We had storms through the night. Got the attic fan going to help cool things and keep the humidity down in the house. Told hubby I was going over to visit the neighbor, he asked why and I said because they have their air-conditioner on. Terri,,,,, We are here. We will never leave you. I discovered today why I like a privacy fence. I have been in my bathing suit for at least 5 hours now, sitting, watering, walking around and enjoying the sun. Trying to get my skin used to being out in the sun. I love it. Not having to worry about the neighbors or people walking by or anything. Love, Love, Love it. I had hubby take some pics of my new haircut and as soon as I have my Sis download them I will post them. I talked to the pool guy a couple of days ago and he said barring anymore rain he should be out late this week. It's an above ground pool. We sit on to much shelf and they would have to blast for an inground. Don't want any cracks in my basement or the neighbors. I don't care what I get just as long as it cool and wet. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Here are my 2 brats. They are actually brother and sister. Same Mom, not sure if they have the same Dad but they are both from the same litter. The tuxedo is "Tippy", too smart for her britches. Orange tabby is "Mouthy", a Momma's boy. He loves his Momma.

Hubby is the one standing in the white shirt. My baby Jack (nephew) is on his knees and the other guy is his best Bud- Robbie. Such good workers.

OMG,,,,, You guys are not going to believe what I got in the mail today..... Oh wait, yes you will. You guys are the ones that sent it to me. Thank You so much for thinking of me. That's what makes you all special. We are staying home this weekend. There are a few things we need to do to get ready for the pool. The pool guy said that barring any more bad weather, he will be out next week. Yipppppeeeeee... Laura, Love the hair. I got all of mine cut off yesterday and as soon as I can get someone to take my pic I'll send it. Yikes, I remember the summers I spent in a cast. Hope he heals fast....My nephew called this morning to tell me he was ok and that he was being sent home because the work site was shut down. I asked him why it was shut down and he told me that there had been a crane accident and that someone was killed. He wanted me to call his Mom and tell her that he was alright. Woke up to thunder and lightning. Nice sleeping weather,so I may head back to bed here soon. And I deserve it, I have worked like crazy the last 2 days. OK, brag time. DAVID COOK. My hometown hero. And such a cutie, him and his brother. I was nervous after the night before and Simon being such a butt to him, but he did it. I have the next 5 days off from work so I'm going to enjoy it. Today I have a 10am appointment to get a cut and highlights. That will take about 4 hours. My hairdresser is such an entertainer. She cracks me up. Judy, have a safe trip. Everyone have a great day.

Long day today. My boss is in Colorado On a bussiness trip so I have to cover her shift today. 8am-7:30pm. Long, long long day for me. And I have to cover her shift tomorrow also. Just a half day though. Glad everyone is home and had a great time. I missed you all. So much I lost weight waiting for you to come home. I'll check in when I can. May take my lap-top to work for the lulls in the day. I'm thinking it might be really really slow tonight. Everyone here in Blue Springs will probably be glued to the TV. Watching OUR American Idol. Went to weigh-in this morning and I lost another 3lbs. since last week. Guess everyone being gone stressed me out....lol. I'm so glad you guys are having a great time meeting each other. Yesterday I put my bathing suit on and sat outside for a little while. Need to start getting my skin used to the sun. I got a tiny little red on my shoulder but all else is fine. I figure just about 15 minutes a day will do it. Everyone have a great day.

Sunday morning and I made it through the night. It's so lonely over here. No one to talk to. I feel like Tom Hanks lost on that island. Well, we would finish up on the fence today but we have come up short on a few things. So there is about a 5 foot section that will have to wait till we can order the materials. The weather has been beautiful here all weekend and they are calling for it to be like this for the week. Hopefully the pool people are getting caught up and it shouldn't be much longer till they are here. I need to find a plumber, need to get a gas line hooked up. Got to have my pool heated. One thing I need to do today is cut the grass out in back. It's been 2 weeks since it hs been done. Then I'm going to put some shorts on and sit out in the yard and get a little sun. Hope eveyone is having a good time.
