  2. Margarita's anyone????? Mango???
  3. I saw you were friendless and I couldn't let that happen any longer. Adding you to my friends list.

  4. I saw that you had no friends and I didn't want you to be friendless, so here I am. Friend of the Friendless.

  5. Pam?????? You out of there yet???????
  6. Tracy, No tornado warnings here last night but it sure did "rock n roll". House did a lot of shaking. For some reason the power flased this morning but it was after the storm had left. Sure hope our stromy season is over soon. This morning on the radio they were asking people if they had 13 letters in their names. I never did find out why they were asking but wallaa!!. I have 13 letters in mine. Am I lucky today????? Sat outside in my bathing suit, no I didn't say birthday suit. That's Terry's job today. Anyway sat out for 30 minutes working on my tan. Had to give up cause a fly kept biting my leg. Have a great day.
  7. Storms hit again last night. Tornados hit in a few places around here also. Hope this all ends soon. Jane, glad to hear that things are better than what we were worried about. Still scary though. Please keep us posted on how the halter test goes. Keeping you in my prayers. Going to the grocery store this morning for their friday the 13th sales. Than I have to do my shift at work. Other than that I need to get busy on my sewing and hopefully have it done by Sunday. Terry, Hope you enjoy all of your beads. Everyone have a great day.
  8.   Happy Birthday to You. Happy Birthday to You. Happy Birthday Dear Terri. Happy Birthday to You. And Many More.   :cornut: :hurray: :hurray: :wink5:
  9. Another storm is on it's way. We can already see the lightning and hear the thunder. We've been under a tornado watch for several hours now. Hope we don't lose our power again like we did last time. Other than that not much going on. Had a wonderful CTCD. Just finished some cottage cheese and pineapple for dinner. If I'm up, I will be on Terri's calling list. Midnight it is. :rolleyes2:
  10. Terri, You are so welcome. I had a ball picking those out. Just had to make sure they were violet colored. lol. The other package you got was from someone else. I just sent the one. The donated items are for raffeling (sp?). Mine will be for an adult but they are so good about making sure that each child leaves with a gift. There should be a clown and fire truck rides and a pony ride and and and....... The kids just have a ball all day long. Our family is huge, should be well over 200 of us there. Oldest is 85 and youngest is about 6 months. We only do this every 3 years because we are so spread out. It's a blast.
  11. Good Morning Girls. Not to much going on here today. I have a staff meeting at 1pm and than have to work a half shift for someone tonight. Keeping an eye on the sky. So far no rain but they are calling for it to get pretty heavy tonight. Our family reunion is coming up the first week in July and they sent out notices for people to donate stuff. I told them I would give two counted cross stitch pictures. I love to do that when I get the time. So that is one thing I will probably work on today. I have one allready done so I just need to get the other one done. Have to get them framed and sent over to my cousins. This is one of my luxuries, wish I had more time for it. Now if I could just learn to crochet. Glad today is CTCD. I need it again. I did good yesterday till I grabbed a handlfull of cheese-its. Oh My. Hope you all have a great day.

  13. OK, someone needs to explain #6 to me.
  14. "PURPLE POWER" That's for everyone. Laura, Love the pics. I can't hadly wait to go see all of NY.
  15. Good Morning, I'm in for CTCD. I need it bad. Very busy day ahead of me so it will be easy for me to keep control of my food intake. No Rain today and tomorrow also. Keeping my fingers crossed we hear from the pool company. Not holding my breath though. Told Hubby I might go ahead and call them and see what the hold up is. Everyone have a great day.
  16. So, I had to prove that I was not an illegal alien to get my driver's license?????????? Since I proved it this time, when I have to renew it in 4 years do I have to prove it again? Laura, Sorry to hear about your trip but I still want to go there. The closest I've been was when we drove thru Buffalo on our way to Canada.
  17. Rain rain go away, Come again in about 2 weeks. OK, I'm tired of this. And it looks like we have a week full of rain ahead of us. Lots to do today. Work and than I think I'm gonna try to go get my driver's license renewed. A little shopping to do and packages to mail. Everyone have a great day.

    Got banded in Springfield MO??

Crazy weather here in Blue Springs tonight. But I'm sure you guy are used to that by now. Lost another 9 pounds since my last appointment. Doc went ahead and gave my .3 fill. He went ahead and checked what I had in my band and now I have a total of 7.3 in my 10cc band. I'm feeling good about that too. This should hold me for awhile. Had a long talk with him and I feel a whole lot better about some stuff that I had read. It was a really good visit. Hope all is well with everyone.
  19. Jane, I haven't seen an update on you for a little while. How are you feeling. Any more news from the Doc? Please keep us posted. Hugs to you.
  20. Phew, Just got our power back on. Bad storm came thru and must have hit a transformer. Looked like the whole entire neighborhood was out. Usually it's just one side of the street. I did dishes by flashlight. It seemed like the power was out for hours but I think it was only out for about 1 hour. We sat out on the deck and watched the lightning. Laughed cuss we was the only one out. Good thing we have a covered deck. Hope Tracy weathered the storm ok. She should have gotten it right before us. Rivers are way up. Only supposed to get up to 76 tomorrow. Can't wait. Everyone sleep tight.
  21. Don't have a clue as to why those didn't come out larger. I will try again later.
  22. Abagail showed up around 10am and we got ready to go to the park. We also took the little girl from next door. It was really warm and very humid but the girls had a good time. When we were done I took them to Dairy Queen and we all got a very small cone. When we got home Abagail wanted to go swimming so I filled the bathtub with some lukewarm water and she played while I did laundry. All in all we had a really good day. She's gone home now so everyone is laying down for a nap. Sending some pics so you can see her. She looks just like her daddy.
  23. Warm and muggy here right now. Calling for storms later. Oh Great. Lots of flooding going on around here with the rivers cresting. We live in a high spot so no problem for us. But if you've never smelt an area that's been flooded by the stinky Missouri river, your lucky. Pam, yesterday I grabbed a handfull of baby carrots to snack on and was amazed that they plugged me up. I had thought I had chewed them good enough but was surprized. Why can't ice cream do that to me??????? Judy, Great feeling isn't it??? Thinking back on where we were a year ago and how our clothes don't fit anymore. I like the compliments I get now that my old tight clothes are too loose on me now. My 3 year old niece is coming to spend the day with me today. Her parents are separating and moving out of the house today and they wanted to know if I would keep her out of the way. I'm thinking a walk down to the school playground would be good for both of us. Think I'll pick up some neighborhood kids along the way. Hope everyone has a great Sunday.
  24. Pam's gonna have a baby, Pam's gonna have a baby. (Tracy said so). LOL. Our power went out last night during the storm. Must have hit a transformer close by. Judy, My cats scatter when the sirens go off. But we found that durning storms where it's thundering alot, we take a fabric dryer sheet and rub Doggie all over with it. This discharges the static in the air and calms him down. I read about it somewhere. It seems to work. I've had no trouble getting on this site. Everyone have a great weekend.
