Good Morning. Up early to start my shift. JUDY, you were missed alot. Tracy, So glad you are home safe and had a good but tiring time. Some day I'll have to tell you about our winning experience at MGM. Too funny. TracyK, Glad you are all moved in. Macy have her toys all unpacked? Laura, Hugss for you. Denise, Have a great time. OK, No pool yet, They showed up and the store had given them the wrong pool so we all had to go back to the store and they knew we were not happy. They rolled out the carpet for us. Long story short, they didn't have our pool in stock so we ended up getting a bigger pool but by this time the installer is booked again. He has today free but not sure he can get completely done. Hubby and BIL will be here all day so they are going to keep him moving best they can. This is one of the most frustrating things and very trying on our patience. I'll check in later when I get a chance. Everyone have a great day. We have been having the nicest weather here for the last few days. Hope it stays this way for awhile. Next door neighbor is such a good friend. I walked over there last night ans she is going to paint my toe nails for me tomorrow night. Have to get them all ready for Family reunion this weekend. Which color goes with black and blue????? Toe is feeling a little better but knee is still sore. Called Doc and got a refill on the vicodin, going to give it another week and see if it gts any better. Don't forget that today is CTCD.

Good Morning Girls. Up early this morning wanting to get things done before the pool people get here. Now it's a sit and wait thing till they show up. I need to get to Wal-Mart but am afraid to leave hubby here. Afraid they may put the pool in the wrong place. Guess I'll just try to snooze for awhile. Other than that not much going on. Waiting for a woman from "Freecycle.com" to come and pick up some egg cartons, she was supposed to have been here yesterday. I hate no-shows. Hey I think I found something that helps me out. Kat sent me a picture of all of you guys and I have it right here next to my computer. Every time I see it, it reminds me that I need to be on my best behavior I need to be accountable for my actions. Maybe everyone needs to try putting a picture up to remind them. So far it's helping me. Everyone have a great day.

Terry, You have two things going for you that your sister doesn't. Beauty on the outside and beauty on the inside. She must be sad inside and jealous. She probably has some pent up feelings about it also. Hang in there, you are so better than to lower yourself to her level. Loved the picture. Enjoy the time you have with your Mom.

The Pool is coming. They called a little while ago and said that they would be here first thing in the morning. I said "on a Sunday?". Yup, that's right. On a Sunday. You know this means you won't be seeing as much of me. Got to get my swim time in. I'll be looking like a bass by the time summer is over. I'll post pics as soon as we get it all done. Loved the videos. Along time ago we took my hubby's parents to a show and they snuck (sp?) up behind us and scared the crap out of my MIL. We laughed all the way home.

Called the pool guy again today. I guess I was bored.

So quiet here today. I mean here in the chat room. Not at my house. Doggy is running around, Sis doing dishes, hubby playing on computer and my knee throbbing like mad. At least toe is feeling ok. Hope everyone is having a great day.

In the shower this morning the light hit me and I remembered that I got an e-mail from Tracy. Duh....... Kat, My hubby's idea of an fancy retaurant is take home from Sonic. He did offer to share his popcorn at the movies yesterday. So nice of him. I've gotten to the point were I don't even take him to a wedding unless he can wear his jeans. I'd rather not put up with the pouty mood. Slept in this morning and it felt good. I have a 3 hour shift at work and than Sis needs to go to the grocery store. After that I'm free for the day. I need to get some sewing done. I promised a gift for the Family reunion next weekend and I have to get going on it. Still no pool. No looking good for next week either. They are calling for on-off storms. Everyone have a great day and make some GOOD food choices.

Just took a shower and decided to take a pic of the foot. It's hard to see the discolor but it's there. You can definately see the swelling.

Good Morning. I too was shocked when I read Judy's post. "Judy, gambling" TracyKS, when I was reading your post about your dilema of what to do about becoming a spokesperson, I was thinking to myself that we just don't see you on here as much as we used to. It's almost like you have your plate severaly full. What with trying to lose weight, just getting married, husband issues, taking on a stepson and his mother, living with a bunch of boys and their growing pains, Cody's accidents, work and everything else. Are you sure you are not getting overwhelmed? Maybe you need t step back and take a big breath and re-evaluate. Hang in there girl. Jane, So glad you are taking charge. I agree that you need to find a doc now. You may not think you need him right away but no sense in waiting to the last minute. Hugs to you. Judy, Come home. As soon as I can I will post a pic of the "TOE". Actually the toe is the least of my problem. I think I did more damage to my knee. I called the Doc but they said he can't do nothing about the toe but if the knee still hurts in a week to call and make an appointment. I know that I am having residual affects of falling down, but this is something more than that. This goes beyond the just falling down pain. Looks like I need an MRI. Weather here today is kind of crappy so Hubby and I are going to the movies today. Think we will be going to see the Indianan Jones movie. Everyone have a great day.

You guys aren't going to believe this one........ Several months ago Hubby said he wanted to do something for me for my burthday. I really wasn't into it but I knew that he really wanted to do this so I told him to go ahead. I said for him to get with both my sisters and plan something but remember that I just didn't want black. See, I'm turning 50. Yup, that's right. 50. So time goes by and nothing. No one has done anything. So I go over to "Zarda's" and reserve the banquet room and go over the menu with the planner. Next I go and get invitations and have them printed up. I get the list of people ready and buy stamps. Than I go and order a cake and also get balloons ordered. All is set, just now have to wait for the big day. So glad that my family is doing something for my big day. I'm feeling the love. Don't get me wrong, I'm getting a good laugh out of all of this. So,,,Thursday night I get a call from my oldest nephew asking what day is "My Thing?" Well, it's sunday. Is something going on? He said that he has had a Tattoo scheduled for that day and that he won't be able to make it. (Get control of yourself girl, it will be all right. Not the end of the world.) So Sunday comes and I go pick my sis up. From there we go get my nephew's little girl Abagail. She's all excited about Aunt Suzie's birthday party. So excited that she wants to share it and goes around telling everyone in the restuarant that it is her birthday. Everyone starts to show up and there is food everywhere. It couldn't have been more perfect if I had planned it myself. Ooopps, I did plan it myself. Silly me. After the party we had invited a few people back to the house so that we could continue the fun. Now mind you I haven't had one single drink yet. Thru all of this I am trying very hard to be the best bandster. Now, Abby decides she wants to play in the sprinkler. She would go swimming but remember, we still don't have a pool. So I get her changed and turn the water on. I get all the toys out and her water wings. She runs thru the sprinkler twice and decides ahe doesn't want to go anymore. So I ask her if she wants me to go. I go in the house and put my shorts and t-shirt on and flip-flops. I go back out and grab Abby's hand and we start runnign thru the sprinkler, screaming and giggling. We run thru about 4 times and Pam comes over and joins us. We were soaking wet. This goes on for about 5 minutes and than we take a break for a few minutes. My nephew decides it's time for him to take Abby home so I tell her to get her flip-flops on and come on it the house. Now, there are 2 steps up from the yard to the deck and I somehow managed to miss the top step. Yup, that's right down I went. Everyone hollering at me "are you alright?" over and over. I finally get myself situated and tell them I'm fine, knowing that I don't think I really am. I pick myself upa nd brush myself off and continue to take Abby in to change her clothes. I finally get her dressed and take her back out on the deck when I procede to tell everyone that it's official, "I need to go to the ER". Hubby is furious. I think I just ruined his buzz he was starting on. So I go in and change my wet clothes and by now you can see the swelling in my foot and my knee is killing me. We get to the ER and I hobble in. The nurse ask what's wrong and I told her I think it's broke. She brings over a wheelchair and gets me checked in.This whole process at the hospital actually only took about an hour. There was only one other person there and he was getting stitches. They get me in and Doc orders x-rays. I get back to the room and in walks Doc and says "It's broke. What kind of pain killer do you want?". Vicodin, of course. So I have a wrenched knee, 2 bruised toes and one broken big toe. Now I have 2 vicodin in me and all is right with world. Or at least my little world I am now in. We get home and I go to call my boss and tell her. There is not one person to cover my shift so yes that's right. I have to be at work at 6am. Off to bed I go. 4:30 comes and I drag my ass to work. I take my pillow and parked my butt behind the desk and there I sat till my shift was over. That is my Birthday story. Did you like it??????? We have actually had a pretty good laugh about the whole thing. We somehow have found the humor in all of this. As soon as I get out of the "vicodin buzz" I got going, I'll post pics. Toes are rety bruised and swollen right now but I'm getting around pretty good. Hubby is taking me out to dinner tomorrow night for my actual birthday. I'm looking forward to it.
