Uggghhhhhhh. It's a wet Wednesday morning and cold. My alarm went off and it scared the crap out of me. I thought, WTH. Oh that's right, I still have to get up early on Wednesday. So off to work I go than to Wally World. Jane, sometimes I think the same thing. It's more in your imagination than you think. Hang in there. Is Judy getting hit by "OMAR". I hope she is safe. Welcome Sunshine, stay as long as you want. We welcome new people. Doing great on eating today but sucky on my water. I'm off to work so that will help out alot. I've only had about 30 ounces. I need to get some more in. Laura, congrats on the not smoking. The one were people light up and than just lay it in a ashtray has always bugged me. Hope Judy is having the time of her life. I had one of those nights were I slept in the same position all night long. A very solid sleep. Luckly no stiff neck or anything. But I slept good. TracyK, Yes yesterday was my last getting up at 4:30am. I'm so relieved about that. The new girl is trained and she goes solo starting Thursday. I still have Wednesday morning that I have to get up early for, but that's ok. I only have to work a few hours and than I can head to Wal-mart before it gets busy. Jane, enjoy the manicure. I wish I could get one. My nails are a mess. I can never grow them out. I constantly am breaking them. I love being pampered though. Jenn, Purple Power to you so you start feeling better. Took a 20 minute nap today. Felt good to do that. I was gonna take a walk but it's drizzling now. TracyKS. I took my sis-in-law one of the yellow bags with a t-shirt, a water bottle and a pen. She is one of my biggest supporters. I ate some peanuts earlier and they are settling well. Quite evening here tonight. Just going to take it easy.

TracyKS, Loved the pictures. Looked like you had a lot of fun. I just recently ran across an old high school friend on Facebook. We have sent several messages back and forth. It's so cool to reconnect. Having a hard time keeping my eyes open right now. Today was my last Monday to get up at 4:30am. I certainly won't miss it. Hugs Everyone

I had such a pleasant surprise at church this afternoon. Our priest is on vacation for the next 3 weeks and we have a step in priest till he gets back. Most times when for whatever reason he is gone, we usually have one of the monks from the Abby step in. Well tonight we had someone I hadn't seen in about 15 years. Afterwards I went up to him and said, "I know it's been along time but". and he said tell me your name. So I told him and he looked at me and said yes, I do remember you. He was the priest that married my husband and I 26 years ago. He is actually an old friend of my parents and friends. So I called my cousin this evening and told her and she and her husband are coming out next weekend and will go to church with us so they can see him. She hasn't seen him in about 10 years. It was so good to talk to him and can't wait till I see him again next weekend. Jane. No I don't put raisins in mine. I'm not really a raisin fan. But I do like to put cream cheese on mine after I slice it. I have even made the pumkin rolls. Those are so good but a hassle to make. This is my favorite time of the year. I love to bake alot. Just staying away from it is the hard part. TracyK. I still have the candy corn in the package and the jar of peanuts unopen. I'm afraid to make that stuff because if I like it to much it will be gone in no time. So I'm probably going to wait till after my appointment on the 20th. to make it. Sure is quite around here.

Jane, I took a knitting class a couple of years ago. I was working on making a scarf and my family laughed at it. I said you better becareful, this might be your christmas present. Anyway, I put it down and never went back to it. I might try it again after the first of the year. I'm glad the cross stitch is going good for you. I can't wait to get mine started. I sent in my donation for the walk, it's under your name. I went for my mile walk this morning and took doggie. A car pulled up behind me and I heard this "Hey Lady, I'm lost". It was my older nephew. I finished walking home and than hubby and I started mowing. This should be our last mow of the year. We'll have to mulch soon. All those leaves, yikes. Anyway, I mowed the backyard and than started on the side. Finished that and than started on the front. Finished that and decided I was finished myself. Sat on the deck for awhile and cooled off. Than took a shower and fixed a salad for lunch. I'm making pumpkin bread tonight. I'll take a loaf with us when we go to hubby's sister tomorrow. We haven't seen them in about 2 months. They live in Richmond which is about an hour from here. Hoping to see some fall colors. I'll check in later. Getting ready to go to church. Hugs to all.

I'm up but seriously thinking of going back to bed. My next door neighbor called last night and want me t come over and watch a movie with her. Mama Baby, I think that was the name of it. Tiny Fey and Amy Polson. It was cute. Didn't get home till about 9:30. I woke up about 2am and had some throw up in my throat. I think what happened was that I took my meds right before I went to bed. I always eat a few crackers or a cookie when I take my meds to help them go down. Well, I grabbed a piece of bacon. I think the meds and the grease and me horizontal was not a good thing. I hope Laura, Judy and Pam have a safe trip and enjoy themselves. Everyone have a great day.

Phew!!!! Busy, busy day. One good thing about being busy is that it keeps me away from the food. Breakfast- oatmeal Lunch- cottage cheese and pinapple, string cheese snack- handfull of peanuts about 8 lifesavers. 80 ounces of water. BLT's for dinner but I'm gonna have a salad and crumble a few bacon strips on it. Weather is suppose to turn cooler next week so I'm going to try to get outside as much as I can this weekend. If I had a dog I would take it to the dog park. Unfortunetly my sisters doggie doesn't play well with others.

Uggghhhhhhhhhhhh, I hate mornings, especially this early.

Home from my class and finished folding some clothes, ate 4 crackers and butter and a string cheese. Took my medicine so now I''m off to bed. Pam, take a few of you "I Love Lucy" tapes to sit and watch with him. Laugh till it hurts. Just try to have as much fun as you can. Tell him constantly how much you love him. I will be thinking of you the whole time. Night everyone.

I've been super busy all morning. Cleaned my shower and mopped the floor in the bathroom. It's all shiny and clean. Doing laundry. Went thru my closet and pulled out clothes that are too big for me. Can't decide if I will take them to the clothes exchange this weekend or donate them to Goodwill. Now I'm getting ready to go to my staff meeting. I've had- Bowl of oatmeal 2 Werther's 1 piece of beef jerky. After my meeting it will be a chef's salad. So far so good.

Terry, I was just wondering if you ever made a bracelet for yourself with the beads we sent you? A friendship bracelet.

Pam, Good luck on your trip. This what I have to say to you about going. Stop fretting over the little stuff. Go with the thought in your head that you are there to enjoy your time with your dad. Do the things that you NEED to do and not the things that you think you have to do. Like not crying. If you need to cry then do it. Let your dad know your feelings and that it's all part of your love for him. You are going to miss him and it is going to hurt, but you will be ok. Hold his hand when you need to. Hug him the whole time you are there. Talk to him about anything you want to talk about. Tell him all about us. Share your life with him. Ask him questions. Take walks. Go get ice cream. Watch a movie. Just be you and everything will turn out ok. Don't worry about what your going to wear or how your hair looks. Your dad won't care. He's just going to be so glad to see you. Enjoy, enjoy and enjoy your time with him. That's all that counts. He loves you and you love him and everthing else is in the past. I'm sending all my Purple Power to you. You will have your Violet Angel sitting on your shoulder the whole time.

Good Morning. Janie, maybe sometime after the first of the year I can come and pick you up and we can go to Tunica and meet up with Laura. We'll have to watch the weather but it's something that we can do on your days off. Today is my day off. Yeaaaaaa...... I have my Tai Chi class tonight. I've had about 3 people ask me when they can sign up for the next class. So it looks like I might tae the class again. I do really like it.
