Hey Judy, I forgot to tell you that I made your Turkey soup yesterday and it was a huge hit with the family. The house smelt so good.

Welcome Home Pam. We missed you tons. I think I need to go spend a weekend at Haydee's. Sounds like they know how to party. Sorry to hear about your Mom's little mishap. Maybe she'll learn to stay off those things now. It's times like right now that I'm mad that I didn't let hubby put a fire in the fireplace. Just got home from walking doggie and I need to thaw out. Looks like I'll have to turn my lap blanket on and cover up.

I made another batch of fudge and a batch of peanut butter fudge and some peppermint bark. Hope the family likes all of it. Welcome back Haydee. I never leave the house unless it's clean. I hate coming home and having to work. Judy, loved the pics. That is so sad about the tree. I guess I can't complain about my little 1/2 inch that we got, but it sure was pretty while it lasted. Think I'll take doggie for a little walk. It's 33 degrees and the wind has died down alittle. Have a great evening.

Hello Everyone. Just finished putting all my Autumn decorations away. Hubby wanted to bring up the Christams decorations and I told him "No". I'll wait at least another week before I put anything up. I did make some peanut butter fudge and some pepperment bark today. Thursday is our family breakfast and I thought I would make some goodies for everyone. Judy, I mailed some money to you today for the flowers. They said it should be there in 3-5 days. Look for a big manilla envelope. We got about an inch of snow here yesterday and today most of it is gone. Sun is shining but it is bitterly cold. Those windchills are freezing me out. Today I never even went near a scale. I am going to try real hard to stay away from one for a little while. Now that I'm over this holiday and all the extra food is gone. I'm gonna give it a good try. I have about 5 weeks till my next appointment and I need to start now.

Up and going to get ready for work. I just have a 4 hour shift, so that's ok. The only shopping I did yesterday was Sis and I went to Burlington Coat Factory. What a waste of time, not to mention the batrooms were horrible. yuck. Yesterday, Sis came up and said that the furnace was not turning on. We went and checked it and the fan was coming on but the woosh from the flames was not happening. I ended up having to call the Heatind and Air Company. They showed up about 30 minutes later and the guy looked like he had just graduated from High School. Anyway he got it working and said he felt like a real heal having to charge us. It just needed a pipe cleaner to clean out the little wholes for the gas to come out and the flames to ignite. $195.00 for that. Good thing it didn't happen the day before. It probably would have been double. So the guys hould hubby how to do it the next time incase it happens again. Everyone have a great day and try to get back on track.

Good Morning Shoppers. Not me. I chose to stay home and warm this morning. I will however be getting out here soon. Going with younger sis to go get her hubbies work check and than to Hobby Lobby. Other than that I declared yesterday that today I was "Off Duty". They are on their own. I did ok at dinner time yesterday, it was the snacking beforehand that got a little out of control. I did go for a huge walk in the morning and ended up going again in the evening. Jenn, becareful of that gallbladder. I've had those attacks and they do hurt alot. Take good care of yourself. Congrats, TracyK and to TracyKS for finding the boys all behaved. I got 4 pans of enchilada's amde and now just need to get ready to head to the hospital. I also got the turkey cleaned and dressed and in the refridge till tomorrow morning. I did a few other things also. I think I'm all ready. Have a great evening. Hugs.

Good Morning. Up and need to go dry my hair and get dressed. I work form 6-8am and than off till Saturday. When I get home I need to make 2 pans of enchilada's. One for home and one to take to the hospital tonight. I'm treating the girls we work with for Thanksgiving. I got into the fudge last night. So today I'm not going near it or the cookies. I've actually been doing really good with my eating and don't need to get myself back off track. It turns out I will be doing all the cooking for tomorrow. All of a sudden everyone has come down with some ailment. A bad back, sore shoulder etc. etc. Looks like I'll get all of the clean up also. I told Hubby that next year we are going away for Thanksgiving. Just the 2 of us. Well, at least I have Friday off and can get a little rest in for the day. I still need to get my SS's gift finished. Hope I can do it by Sunday. Everyone have a great day and enjoy the beginning of the Holiday.

Can I borrow your kitchen helper????????

Just got home. Back in the mid 70's my Mom had a Masectomy. Five years later she had cancer on the other side. Years later my Grandmother had a masectomy and a few years later my sister had one. My other grandmother also had one. So, as you can see my younger sister and I are waiting our time. Last year my older sis had a mammo done and the radiologist said that he felt that there was cuase for concern so off to the onocologist we go. Nope he said that it was dead bone form the radiation. That was our second opinion on it. Now a year later she had another MRI done and a bone scan and a few other things and once again the radiologist felt that there was cuase for concern. Well each time he does that she goes into wacky mode and drives me absolutely crazy. So I took her to go see the onocolgist last week and he wanted the orthopedic-onocologist to see her. That is where I took her this morning. He said after looking at all of the scans and reports that she doesn't have cancer and her doesn't even think that it is dead bone. He fells that it is due to a genetic clotting diesease that she has. He ordered one more x-ray and said that he will talk to her regular onocologist and get back with her in a few weeks. He was pretty thorough and explained everything to us very well. All looks good and she can relax now. Back to my life now or at least for a day or two till she coes up with something else. I have 2 turkey breast defrosting in my fridge. There will be hubby and me, younger sis and her hub. Older sis and one of her sons. I'm not making a whole lot of stuff as we all don't need to be eating like that. But I will be making all the good stuff that we do like. I did get a few batches of cookies made last night and also a pan of fudge. Yikes. Pam, I love you long post also. We will miss you while you are gone. Take care. I missed DTWS last night and for some reason my TiVo didn't record it. I'm so sad. I'm gonna take it easy for awhile and than head into work later. Guess I'll fix me a salad for lunch. Good Morning Girls. Up early today because I have to take my older sis in for a biopsy. She's a nervous wreck right now and driving me crazy. Like I don't have far to go. I went to a funeral yesterday for a 20 month old little boy. I was not prepared for that sight. My heart tore right in half when I saw that little boy just laying there. My heart goes out to both of the parents. I can not even imagine having to say good bye let alone bury your child. They had tha fire trucks there and they lead the procession. Pam, Thanks for the long post. I know you have alot going on right now but make sure you don't neglect yourself. Don't forget that we will all be with you in spirit. Hugs to you girl. Good Morning Girls. I'm pooped from all that shopping yesterday. Off to work and than I need to take my sister grocery shopping. Later today I'm going to try to make it to a funeral. There is a lady that comes into work that has a grandson with Tay Sachs. I've been to several fundraisers for him. Anyway, last friday he passed away. He was only 20 months old. I also know his Mom, she used to come in to workout till the medical bills started to mount up. I just can't imagine have a child and than watching it die. That has to be horrible. Hugs to all of you and I really mean that. You guys are just to precious to me. Be back later.

I got my shopping done for my SS today. I just need to finish up what I am making and than into the mail it goes. Huge News for a good laugh. I had to drive by 3 Dairy Queens on my way home and I didn't even stop at one of them. LOL.

I got home about 30 minutes ago and I texted Jane, but I haven't heard back from her yet. I'll wait just a little longer and than I'll call her. I don't want to bother her while she is driving. TracyK, Way-To-Go on the walking. Terry, Glad you made it to the bark park. Good News, Janie just texted me. She's home and safe.

It's warming up here. It's now 49 degrees. Still a little breezy. Heading off to church. I'll be back around 5pm. A lite dinner and than off to bed. Driving to Columbia tomorrow to meet up with Jane. I'll check in later.

OMG, I just got a "Flying Monkey" in the mail. Hubby won't quit playing with it. The cats are totally scared of it. Thanks for the good laugh Tracy.

Let her help you. Remember that all of us are sitting on your shoulder whispering in your ear that we care very deeply for you and that you are not walking alone. Denise. I'm sorry for your situation but do always keep in mind that you will soon be having a new little one to give all your love too. I'll keep all of you in my prayers and pray that this little child will be her salvation and she will straighten up. Not to busy today. They are going to be delivering our firewood soon.
