That last one is actually the place we picked the brochure up for. It says they opened in October. Give them a call.

Jane, Here are a few I looked up. Locations DePaul Weight Loss Home Page Surgical Weight Management - Washington University Physicians in St. Louis, MO Take a look at these and see if they can get you in. It's worth the try.

Janie, Did you ever look into that brochure we picked up at the mall for the "Surgical Weight Loss" place? I know they have one at the mall here and that they do fills even though they didn't do your surgery. They should have one somewhere close to you. Try calling them and see if they could get you in. Anything would be better than having put up with attitudes like that.

My next "maybe" fill is January 6th. I say maybe because I'm not really sure I need one. It's just a matter of my trying not to push the band to the limit. And one thing for sure is not eating all the gooey candy, cookie crap that was around the house here. Report for today... 1 circuit at Curves 1 bowl of oatmeal 1 1/2 mile walk Salad with 1/2 chicken breast 5 pretzels Tonight I am meeting an old frend for dinner at Long John Silvers. Holding my breath on this one and already rehearsing what I will be ordering. Plus I haven't seen this guy for about 2 years and he knows I'm banded, so I anxious for him to see how much I have changed. He is bringing another person that we worked with and she had GB. She lost alot but as soon as she was able to eat regular food again the weight started to come back on. I know it wasn't an easy decision for her, one of the times I talked to her about it she said that had she known before hand what she would be going thru, she never would have had the surgery. Poor thing. Glad to hear you got your phone back Tracy. I too would be very lost without mine. I wouldn't be able to call anyone. Even hubby. I have know idea wht his number is, just that he is #2 on my speed dial. Have a good one.

Well my problem is that I have a disease.......... Hand-To-Mouth Disease. Instead of a lap-band I should have had my elbows locked in to a straight position. Or maybe one of those cones they put on animals, have you ever seen them try to eat with one of those things on?

Guess I'll have to go have a:martini_shaken: Margi:martini_shaken: to Celebrate for Pam.:tongue_smilie: Good Job, Girl.

I've been up 10 minutes and doing well so far..... That's funny Judy. I've been up 20 minutes and have had 2 hot cocoa's already. Here's my dilemma, Abagail spent the night last night and I told her I would make pancakes for breakfast. Here it is morning and I don't have anything to make pancakes with. Do you think french toast would pass???? She's doing good while "Handy Manny" is on. When it's over I think I'll be in trouble. LOL.. Haydee, I think you were the one that asked. Abagail is my grandniece. My nephew and his wife have the one, so far. She's the spitting image of her father and has many of his little habits he had when he was younger. It brings back so many memories. This will be a challenge for me today, having to feed a little girl and eat responsibly. I'm up for the challenge. Have a great day and chat at you soon.

Still 32 degrees here but the rain has stopped. Janie should be getting it now. I'm gonna try doing the ticker 25 pounds at a time and see how that goes. Maybe that will be a little more incourageing.
-
My report so far........ 1 Protein Shake (insert applause here) Not to bum you all out but as of this morning all of my Christams decorations are boxed and put away in the garage. Yes I said it. All done. It was rainy all morning and I woke up early and just decided to do it and get it done. I was wanting to go walk but it's only 32 degrees right now and with all the rain I don't want to hit any slick spots. Guess I'll just sit around here and take pictures of my kitties with my new camera.

Right now it's thunderstorming and than pretty soon it is supposed to change over to sleet and than snow later today. Yuck. Terry, I would be stressed also if my duaghter was doing that. How scary. I hope she did a lot of investigating of these women she is moving in with. What a leap. I'm not sure I would have to courage to chuck it all and move like that I will keep her in my prayers that she stays safe. Not much going on here today. Especially with it raining. Have a great day and make excellent food choices today.

I had the best food and water day...... That is until I got home and proceeded to eat the last 6 cookies and the last rice krispy treats. The good thing is that everything is now gone so I don't have to worry about it anymore. I'm still under my calorie intake for the day. Looks like cottage cheese and pineapple for dinner. Hubby and I headed to the shopping center to go see what "Best Buys" had in digital cameras. What a madhouse. We finally got in there and they had a display of 30 cameras but only had about 5 in-stock and not the one I was looking at. We were going to go across the steet to "Circuit City" but that was a huge mess trying to get across the street and into the parking lot. We decided to go home. On the way Hubby asked about going to Wal-mart and I told him it was up to him. It wasn't quite as crowded as I thought it was going to be. We got a parking spot 2 spots from the door, went right to the cameras and some lady came up and asked if I needed help. I asked if they had this camera in-stock and yes they did. So I have a brand new Canon 10 megapixel digital camera. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!! I even have it downloaded on to the computer already. Dang, I'm good. LOL. So the only thing I have left to do is keep my big mouth shut and not cram it full of anything. That shouldn't be too hard since all the crap is now gone.

Back to reality and back to work. Doing a double shift today. The other girl is in Colorado for the holiday. Last night for dinner we had shrimp, while we were eating I had another talk with the family about how things ae going to change around here. Starting Today. They said it's not New Years yet. I said it didn't matter, things have to change around here. Starting with no more eating dinner at 9pm. Hubby said he's up for it. Now he just needs to work out hard at the Y. I hope all of you had a wonderful day yesterday. So far it sounds like everyone did. Have a great day and chat at you later.

Yea, Good for me. I went and took doggie for a mile and a half walk. It was so cold. I had to stop several times to blow my nose. Got home and hubby rubbed my hands. Even with gloves on they got frozen. Now I'm all snug in my chair and gonna veg out. Judy, You'll love the laptop life. It's great. Have a great evening.

Merry Christmas to All. Our present opening lasted 3 seconds. That's how long it takes to open an envelope and pull out two tickets to the "Eagles" Concert. Hubby was really excited, kinda shocked at the price but excited. So glad that Jane made it home in time for the holiday. Michelle, I will say an extra prayer at Church this morning for that poor family. I know what it's like to have someone pass away right at Christmas time. Everyone have a GREAT day. Hugs to you all.

Hubby and I just got back from our Holiday treat to each other, we always take sometime to ourselves and go have a drink. Today we went to the mexican restuarant and shared a half order of nachos a margarita and a beer. So we are officially done with the holiday. Except tomorrow I have to work at church. Mass is at 10am. After that I'm coming home and putting my new sockies on and grabbing a mug of tea and just mellowing the rest of the day. We also stopped by Subway and got sandwiches to take into the hospital tonight. We had told them they could bring the chips and dip and Hubby and I would bring the sanwiches. Merry Christmas to all and too your Families. Hugs, Suzanne.

Terry, Thanks for the lovely picture. How heart warming. I texted Janie. Hope she gets to go home today.

Hubby and I got up and went to the Y. I did a mile on the treadmill. Came home and had a couple of cups of cocoa and a piece of toast. Now to start my day. I went on line to check our bank account and believe it or not, we finally got Hubby's bonus check. Yup, the day before Christas and they finally give us the money. It's a good thing that we didn't rely on it to do our shopping with. Crymany. On the phone right now with an old friend. She is telling me right now that her nephew commited suicide. How horrible. Poor family. Gina and Denise, so good to hear from you. Merry Christams to both of you and hope to see you more often here. Everyone have a great day.

Pam, I agree, I have pics like that. The ones I look at and say "What The &*%$". Anyway, That is too exciting about the party. Have fun. Earlier I packed up all the cookies and fudge and candy. I'm taking it to the volunteer room tomorrow. I actually was on my best behavior today and have not had any cookies or anything. I've had- 2 scrambled eggs and 1 piece of toast 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and pineapple 7 life savers 1/2 cup of chex mix. And lots of water. I'm such a good girl, today. Curves is closed the next 2 days so I'm going with Hubby to the Y in the morning. I walk on the tredmill while he is doing weights. Sending my purple power to Janie.

Table: A table is a symbol of social interaction. I just had the freakiest moment. I was telling my hubby about the dream I had had and that I told Kat about it. I told him that she had said that I needed to open my package. So right in front of my hubby I open the box and we just had the goofiest looks on our face. There right in front of us was a book that said "Dictionary of Dreams". So spooky. Anyway, Kat Thank You so much for the box of the most loveliest gifts. I have to tell all of you that I think I'm the luckiest of us all. I was so touched by everything and can't hardly wait to get back home tonight and put on my new sockies and fix me a mug of tea. I can then crawl into bed and read my books. Thank You, Thank You and Thank You again. Love you Lots.

I sent you all an e-mail. A small update on Jane.

Good Morning All. Lazy day this morning. I don't have to work till 3pm but I'm waiting to see what the weather is going to do. They were calling for it to snow today but I got up this morning and things have changed. So it's a wait and see thing. Tomorrow we have to work at the hospital and I am going to pack up all the christmas goodie stuff and take it into the volunteer room. I'm getting rid of all of it. not a morsel left in the house. I got me one of those books that you right all of your food down and water and exercise. I'm going to give it a very good try and keep a record of all that I eat and drink. I keep reading everyday how this is supposed to help you with your weight loss. I just have never been dilligent about it. I start out and by day two I'm done. Keeping my fingers crossed that Jane gets to come home and that they find what is going on and fix it. Kat, in my dream last night I decided to open my package and it was a big table cloth that you had counted cross stitched in a pattern that I have. I just couldn't get over the fact that someone would have done that for me. Isn't it funny, the things that we dream about. I still haven't decided when to open it, but you will know. Everyone have a great day and make very good choices.
