OMG, I just saw on Yahoo News that Kansas City is listed as the 25th. Fattest city. Good thing Tracy and I don't live there.....LOL

Haydee, here's some pics for you. Do you recognize the sweater? Thank You so much for the clothes you sent.

Back from the hospital. They need to run more test but she should get out Tuesday. Kat, Thank you for the post. I do worry for you and hate that you go thru so much. I also agree about the food. I feel that need that after I eat that I just need to eat more. It doesn't matter what it is, I just need something. I also feel like I am supposed to make these big meals everyday. Not sure where that comes from except that Hubby's Mother always had big meals for us when we went to visit. So I guess I'm thinking that I have to make a big meal to keep up with what she did. Well, her big meals were only on Sunday. The rest of the week it was bologna sandwiches. I still feel the need to make the meals as tasty and fancy just to satisfy hubby. I also appreciate everyone posting there food intake. I told Tracy at one of the support meetings about it. I feel that it helps keep me on track if I see what you are all eating. If you guys can do it I can do it. I need to hear about your struggles and yes I do need to hear about you successes. Be it 2 french fries or walking 5 miles a day. It does help me to be accountable. All of you need to know that you are a huge part of my success. I have come to rely on all of you and your struggles remind me that I don't walk this alone. You have all been in my shoes and know my struggles. I do get very jealous of all of you. Most of you are at your goal or very close to it. I still have a long ways to go. Your struggles with your 2 pound or 15 pounds that you still need to lose is just as important as my 90 pounds that I still need to lose. Your daily ups and downs are just as important as mine. Hugs to all of you and remember to always check in when you can. If you can't get on here, send an e-mail to someone so that we know all is ok.

Judy, Thanks, I needed that. And I was also worried that something happened to the Bobster or Kris. Glad to know all is well. I hope everyone does let us know if they are going to be gone for awhile. It does help us not to worry. I'm off to go visit a friend in the hospital and I am wearing a sweater that I got from Haydee. I had hubby take a pic and when I get back I will post it. I seriously need to get started on my water also.

Morning, The sun is shining so bright you almost need to wear sunglasses inside. I think the dusting of snow we got is also adding to that. I was up most of the night with bathroom problems. Apparently I must not be drinking enough water. My poor little b/h is so sore. I must drink more water, I must drink more water......... Jane e-mailed and said she can't get on here. Whether it is money or food, snowballing is a very serious problem. If you don't stay on top of it it can get really out of hand. I have had several people tell me that I just needed to just stop eating, you know like how alcoholics just stop drinking. That would be fine if I could live with out food like they could live without drinking. Kat, I probably would have handled that situation just like you had. A lot of times I just don't tell people that I have a band. That way I don't have to listen to how I shouldn't have done it, that surgery is not the way to go, that I will gain it back. It's easier to just tell people that I do Weight Watchers. And that's a big lie. I haven't been in about 4 months. If I wasn't losing why was I paying. Anyway, they seem to be happy with the fact that I do WW. What a sensible way to do it. That's the right way to do it. What ever way you lose it is probably the right way for you to have lost it. Now comes the hard part- keeping it off. That is probably a whole lot harder to do. Not going back to your old eating habits. Maybe that's why they so many people returning to WW after they have lost their weight. Hubby has the fireplace going and I have my favorite NEW coffecup with hot cocoa in it. Nice and cozy here but I will be breaking that spell soon. Gonna take a shower and get my housework done. Have a great day and make good choices.

:scared2: I wanna come over and cheat with you.

We are getting a very light dusting of snow right now. So I'm all bundled up and the fireplace is roaring. All comfy cozy.

I know I shouldn't have made such a big deal about the 2 french fries. But it was huge to me. I have somehow managed to have lost 12.5 pounds since Jan. 5th. and for me to have eaten those 2 french fries could lead to me sabotaging myself again. It's a daily struggle for all of us and it really isn't a laughing matter. I'll try a little harder next time to control myself. It's getting colder outside. I was trying to decide about making a pot of chili tonight or wait till tomorrow when it's really supposed to get cold. Maybe I'll wait and just fix a ham & cheese omelet for hubby and I tonight.
-
Terri, That is great about your son. I hope things continue to improve. Jane, How is your fill going??
-
I promise I will try harder.

I ate 2 of my hubbies french fries.

Hey, I just got called in to work. They want me to open the store at 3pm. It'll be ok, just for about 2 hours than Janice will be there. TracyKS, Stay good, stay good, stay good............... Haydee, Sorry about the zit. I haven't had one in years. Pammie, I haven't seen the show but good luck. Hubby and I took the kitties out back and walked around with them. The sun fills good on the skin. It's warm out but there is a cool breeze going. I had a yogurt and 3oz. of ham for lunch and a handfull of pretzels. I liked what I saw on the scale this morning and I don't want to spoil it. Tonight it's a 4 0z hamburger on the grill and some grill veggies. Have a good one.

TracyK, so glad your back and I hope that if they see something in your MRI that they can fix it and get you all better. Hopefully some PT and relaxing. I'm back form going to pick up some freecycle stuff, Wal-Mart, give blood, drop off Hubbys vest to have patches sewn on, post office, bank and carwash. Now is rest and relax for the rest of the day. Think I'll put hamburgers on the grill later today. I bought a box of the 100 calorie cakesters- what a waste of 100 calories. Sitting here eating my bowl of w/c oatmeal. Scale moved down again this morning. Keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps going that way.

Good Morning Girls. I'm up and getting ready to start my day. Trying to get as much done this morning so that I can enjoy this warm afternoon. Jenn, Sorry about Wayne. Maybe he his just letting things set in and figuring out things. Give him time. Janie, Thanks for the offer but I have a boat load of stuff. Go ahead and sell and make some money. Hugs to all and have a great day.

Dear Tracy, I have been pregnant for over forty years now. I know how you feel. Well, Doc called and no break, must be some ligament damage. I need to rest it and give it some time to heal. Other than that not much going on.
-
Somehow I have actually managed to get thru the day so far and not one time have I watched the inauguration. I had a Doc appointment first thing this morning and he wanted to send me to the hospital to have my foot x-rayed. But Doc, I have a lunch date with some of my girlfriends. So after lunch I drove over for the x-ray. Not this last saturday but the one before it, I feel while I was working out. I thought it would get better but it didn't. So he wants to see if maybe I broke or fractured a bone in my foot. Good Golly. Jane, I'm so happy you got a fill. Hopefully this gets you back to the losing side. Off to work and still no more inauguration. :w00t:
-
Jenn, Hang in there. You do what's best for you. If Wayne is a good man he will still be there when all is said and done. Purple Power to you.

Good Morning Girls. TracyK, glad to hear that your pain is not as bad as it was but sorry that you didn't get a full nights sleep. I woke around midnight and than tossed and turned till the alarm went off. Getting ready to go to work and than over to Sisters. She needs to get to the grocery store and I have some paperwork of hers that needs filled out. Other than that not much else going on today. Everyone have a great great day and make good choices.

Hi Janie. :wink2:

Hey everyone, I had Abagail last night and I took her home about an hour ago. We had a great time but I am pooped out and have a little headache now. I think the headache is more from this diet that I'm on. I now I'm lacking something, must be the sugar I'm not eating. It was really hard at the grocery store this morning. Just ended up buying carrots, radishes, a red bell pepper and some oatmeal. My cart looked pityfull. Kat, that e-mail you sent with the picture in it--- Well, really, that just wasn't right. Who in God's green earth would dress up like that and do that? That just wasn't right I tell you. LOL. I also agree with Pammie about what she said about your letter. Just remember that we have your back and you have our well wishes. Jenn, Don't screw it up, enough said. I'm like Terri, think I will get out and enjoy this somewhat nice weather we have. Looks like a good day to take doggie for a walk. Everyone have a great day and make good choices.

This morning on my way into work I stopped and got a 44oz. Ice Tea and I sure am glad that I did. We were so busy that I didn't have time to open my cooler and get a water out. I didn't have time to have a jello that I brought. And you know what? I loved it. It kept me so busy and my mind off of all food. Just wish I could do that everyday. Now I'm drinking a protein drink and than have to run to go get some meds at the pharmacy and take them to my older Sis. Keep busy and keep the mind off the food. I'll finish up on the soup for dinner tonight and than look forward to a scrambled egg in the morning. Ahhh. somewhat solid food again. Laura, Keep an eye on those pipes, not a good situation. As far as the inauguration, it's a big thing here. The reason is because our local high school will be one of the bands marching in the parade. Look for Blue Springs Marching Regiment. They were just in the Rose Parade. They left this morning on 7 busses and a Semi for a 24 hour trip to DC. Other than that I probably won't be watching much of it. I'm just not as hyped up about this whole thing as everyone else. Have a great day and make good choices.
