Laura, Hubby and I are retired and our house is payed for. We don't owe anybody so the stimulus package is not going to do us any good. Just hopefully better roads to drive on.

Hey Girls, Only one person has had a better day than me and that's TracyK. Happy Birthday. I went to the Shrink and since I had seen him last, I had lost 5 pounds. We had a really good session and I left in a good mood. From there I went to the local Mall and walked around. Than I went to another shopping center and than I went to a store I was really wanting to go to. Got home and Hubby and I went to "Side Pockets".We got a plate of chili fries and shot a couple games of pool. We even played shuffleboard for about a half hour. So we were walking out and Hubby walks over to one of the machines that you move this claw and than try to pick something up with it. I put in fifty cents and ended up winning a cute stuffed bear. We nicknamed him "Pockets". Came home and I baked cookies, made cooked butterscotch pudding and 2 cakes. All but the pudding is for the bake sale at church this weekend. I'm pooped now. TracyKS, I'm so glad about your restriction. Before you know it you will be back in the 170's. Judy, My sister gave me a pot of planted Tulips. When the blooms have all died off, what do I do with it than? Do I just put it in the basement or should I plant it? I was hoping you would know. I've heard of people putting the bulbs in the refridgerator, I'm thinking that I shoudl bag them and put them in the basement till fall time.

Home from the hospital shift. Not to busy tonight. I made a batch of cookie dough and put it in the refridge. Our women's ministry is having a bake sale this weekend. I'll make cookies and a couple of cakes. I have an appointment with the shrink Doc tomorrow. Anxious to see how this one goes. Have a great night and chat with you all tomorrow.

Hey Girls, Home from my shift and dog tired. I didn't sleep real well last night. So now I'm gonna take a nap and than I'll be ready to work the afternoon shift at the hospital. We have always had a King. First a king size waterbed and now a king size therapudic bed. We kiss good night and than go to opposites sieds of the bed. As far away from each other as we can. Traveling is awful if we have to share a small bed.

Tracy, you seriously need to stop beating yourself up. I know that is easier said than done. I should know. Don't forget that this is a lifetime adventure. We will be at this till we are 99 years old. Always up and down. The scale never being our friend. So, today is a new day and a new start. You can do this just as I can do it and Judy can do it and TracyK can do it and Jenn, Janie, Heather, Laura, Terri, Kat, Pammie, Mae, Haydee, Michelle and everyone else. Whatever life throws you, just remember that you have inside of you the power to get thru it. We are here for you and truly care for you. Good Morning, I have a very long day ahead of me. Work and than I go for a fill. After that I will meet up with my friend Judy for KS. So it will be late tonight before I check in. Janie Thanks for the update. I know what you mean about having a holiday on your day off. I like t have thing normal even though they deserve a day off too. Janie, Thanks for the info on Kat and Manda. Glad to hear that your fill is working out for you. Hope this gets you on the losing side. I remember when hubby went to work at night and I was all alone here at the house. I couldn't get over how much noise the house made. It creeped me out. I finally realized that if the cats didn't react than it wasn't anything to worry about. Still spooky though. Horrible eating day and just in time for my Doctor's appointment. Just lovely. Too quite around here. Can't wait for everyone to get back and things get back to somewhat normal. I sure hope that I didn't do or say anything to make TracyKS leave us. If I did, I am truly sorry. I miss having her here and keeping us accountable. Keeping my fingers crossed that she forgives me and decides to return. Everyone have a great evening and a great big hug to Kat.

Hey Everyone,:thumbup: :rose:I went to our support group meeting and it was a really good one. We atarted out with since it is Valentine's, why don't we talk about relationships. Not just with our spouses but with our families and with co-workers. It was an eye-opener. Really good.:wub: It ended with flim crew from a local station filming us for an up coming show that they are doing on support groups. I'm going to be a star. :heart:Do you guys want my autograph? :rose:Came home and grabbed hubby and we went to a new Bar & Grill that opened a few weeks ago.:rose: A Bike Bar. I had a margi and hubby had a beer, we shared a plate of nachos and we didn't even eat all of it. :rose:He's in taking a nap now and I'm going to be headed to church here soon. Happy Valentine's to All my Violets. Up and getting ready to go to the Support Group meeting. Other than that, not much going on. I kept teasing my hubby that I wanted something big and chocolate for Valentine's. Yup, you guessed it. A big huge box of chocolates. I said "Are you out of your mind?" He said "you asked for it". Morning girls. It cold a dreary here, calling for snow later today. Sitting here watching the news about the plane crash. There was a lady on board that lost her husband in the twin towers. She was on her way to his hometown to celebrate what would have been his birthday by giving a scholarship to the local high school. So many more sad stories will be coming out of this. My friends and I are probably going to the movies today. I'm working really hard at trying to convince myself that I DON'T need the popcorn. Wish me luck. Kat, I sent a card to Manda at your address. I need to find something Valentine-y to take to the meeting. It certainly won't be candy! Hubby told me earlier that he was going out to get my valentines gift tomorrow. I told him it better be big and chocolate.

SuzieT, Them are fightin words. I'm a huge Dolly fan and love the song and name Jolene. She is one lucky little girl. I got called into work for a couple of hours. Home now and just took dinner out of the oven and put two loaves of banana bread in. House is going to be smelling good here soon. I've done really excellent on my eating today, just need to keep it up for my appointment Monday. I need that fill. Judy, I loved te pic.
