Saturday morning. They are calling for storms tonight but I hope they hold off. We are supposed to go to a BBQ tonight out at the Lake. I'm bringing polish sausages, watermelon and grapes. I wanted to bring something light and tasty and thought that would do it. I baked 4 pans of brownies last night. We are having a bake sale at church this weekend. I'm so glad that I don't have to cut them up because I would only end up snacking on them. Well, off to go start on my housework. We have a small pool party planned for tomorrow and I need to start cleaning the house. Have a great day.

Hi Pammie. Home from work and the grocery store. Now I have to get ready to go back into work to cover the evening shift for another girl. How do I get myself into these positions???? TracyK, have a great time.

Morning. Once again up and getting ready for work. Than off to the bank and grocery store. We have a BBQ to go to tomorrow night and I need to figure out what to take as a side dish. Also Sunday we are having a party here. The girls we work with at the hospital and their families are coming over for a pool day. So shopping and than house cleaning are on my agenda. My sister called late last night. She just went on and on about Jack's car accident. Finally got her calmed down so I didn't have to take her to the ER. TracyK, wanted to remind you to keep drinking your water. And did you decide on what you are going to use to keep yourself regular? I still do the oatmeal thing everyday. Keeps me full for a very long time and also keeps me going. 108 degrees. the guy on the news just said the heat index was going to be 108 today. Yikes. Make it a good one.

Evening Girls. We had leftover ribs for dinner and a few baked beans. I was going to fix corn on the cob but felt like I was pushing it. I'll save those for tomorrow night, maybe grill some burgers to go with them. Nice quite evening around here. I finished watching Benjamin Button. Not real impressed with it. Going to bed early. I'm working a full shift for a girl at the other store. Hope the girls in Ala. are having a great time and not fighting over Carson. Night Kat and Tracy.

Kat, that is in reference to me shedding pounds. I quite shedding hair about a year ago but it remained very thin for a long time. I started eating a handful of peanuts a day and gradually it started to come back in thicker. I didn't have to worry about covering up my thin part on top. I still have thin hair and wish it was really thick and long. I have never been able to grow my hair past my shoulders without it looking really straggely.

Checking in. Car is at the shop getting brakes. They called while we are at Bass Pro and told me it was going to be more expensive than they thought. About $150.00 more. By the way, did I mention that Hubby is retired, LOL. Took my Sis to the Doc'sand than stopped by a friends that was having a garge sale. We went to the store to get her prescriptions when I looked at my phone and there was 3 messages. I looked and saw my niece had calle, my nephew had called and my hubby had called. I knew it wasn't going to be good. Sure enough, my younger nephew had been in a serious accident. We got to the hospital and they took my sister back to see him. I finally got to go back and sit with him when the Doc came in. She said that all the reports came back and all looked good. No broken bones or head trauma. He's pretty beat up though. The car is totaled. Doc said that he'll be pretty sore for a few days, so I told him to come over and get in the pool. I asked him if he had taken anything and he swore up and down that he was clean and that they did do a tox-screen on him. They wouldn't give him any pain meds, just some muscle relaxers and some Ibuprofen. He's really lucky that he had his seat belt on and that the bags went off. His arms ar pretty scraped up from the bags. I'm gonna do some housework while hubby is taking a nap, maybe watch "The curious case of Benjamin Button" tonight. Have a good one.

Laura, I went to that site. As I understand it all I have to do is update my info and referral. They just use a points system and a random pick. Let me know if there is anything else we have to do.

Morning Girls. Up and a little groggy. I had Montezuma's revenge at 1:30 am. Not sure if it was the jalapeno or the over size margi that caused it. But I'm all cleaned out now. LOL. I have to take sis to a Doc appointment this morning than take the vehicle over to goodyear for some new brakes. Hubby is gonna pick me up there and we are off to Bass Pro. We have some gift cards we need to get used up. Everyone have a safe travel day. Kat and Tracy and I will keep this site going for you. Can't wit to see pics of all of you. Have a good day.

Hey, Home from the mexican restaurant. I could have sworn I ordered a Grande Margarita but he brought out a Jumbo. Everyone said that is what I did order. Hmmmm... It was very good, all of it. Don't know how dinner was. To full to eat. LOL. Thank You everyone for the Birthday wishes. It was a great day. Hubby and I spent about 2 hours in the pool together and we had a good time. Just a big ole lazy day. All my traveling Girls. Please be safe and have a great time.

TracyK, I found my saving grace in Oatmeal. It's the Quaker Oats that is High Fiber. I eat it every morning and now I have regular movements. I'm almost back to normal. Give it a try if you like oatmeal.

Morning. Michelle. That is why I can't eat after 7pm. Gives my pouch time to settle down. Otherwise I'm eating rolaids at 3am. Judy, Thank You so much for the very Lovely gift. I was ready some of it to Hubby last night. That was so nice of you. Hubby is out getting ready to cut the grass and I'm getting ready to go have lunch with some friends. Hey Girls, Hot and very Hot here. Just a regular day here for me except that we did drive up north this evening for the visitation. Pete was a Police Officer so it was packed with Officers. I got to see alot of cousins also. We swam for about an hour today. Did I mention it was Hot here? Have a great evening.

Even though it's been a little while since I have lost my Dad, it's days like today that bring it all back. Pam, I was thinking of you today and wishing that you had a very nice day even though it must have been a tough one for you. I know people say it gets better with time but for me I don't see it. It still hurts as much now as it did back then. We swam most of the day. Neighbors came over, Nephew and the kids came over. Now I'm getting laundry done and getting prpared for tomorrow. Yesterday morning a cousin of mine's husband passed away. He was 48 and had been battleing brain cancer for a short time. The visitation is tomorrow night and I'm sure it's going to be a big one. He was Police Officer. They have two small boys. Sure is going to be tough for all of them. BIL is out in back smoking ribs for our dinner. Here it is almost 7pm and he's no where done. Looks like I'll have to eat mine tomorrow. They know I don't eat after 7pm. That way I don't have to take so many rolaids during the night. Crimany. Oh well. Hope everyone had a great day. Just got home from work. Way To Go Tracy. You are very impressive. Terry, How cool to have a gym buddy. That's neat. There's a few ladies that come into work together to exercise. I'm more of a do it alone person, but I do like on fridays when hubby and I go together. Spitting rain here. Not sure what the evening weather is going to be like. Tomorrow they are calling for, Hot, Hot, Hot. I say, Pool, Pool, Pool. I stayed after work today and shampoo'ed the carpet. Oh Yuck that water was black. Nasty. But now all will be exercising in a very clean facility. Yeah Me. Chat at ya later.
