It was 37 when I left for the store this morning. It's 40 now and I'm thinking about taking doggie for a walk around the block. I hate going to the store when I'm not in the mood for food. But somehow I managed to spend $113. Some of it was a friend's mother passed away and she has a housefull of people from out of state, so I took deli meats and cheeses and some other stuff over to the house.

I had a terrible night last night. Didn't get much sleep and at one point had to get up because I had a charly horse in my leg. Must be from all the fluids going in and coming out. Good thing I will have time for a nap today. As I am slowly getting better, the rest of the family is starting to get sick. Ughh. I've never seen Grey's. But I did start Mercy this year, hope they don't pull it. I also started Forgotten and I read yesterday that they might take it off the air. I hate that they do that.

I once wore a size 8 in shoes.

Laura, keeping your MIL in my prayers.

Top half is doing better, bottom half is......well, let's not go there.

Those shape-ups, are they the rolley polley shoes? the ones that make you rock back and forth?

I weigh once a week and that's because I deal with water weight.

Morning Girls. Woke up about a half hour ago and decided to go ahead and get out of bed. I'm feeling a little better. Tummy is a little upset so I'm sipping more 7up. Rain, rain, rain. For about the next 3 hours, and than the temps are supposed to start dropping. 59 right now and 50 by around 4pm. At least it's not snow yet. LOL.

Irene, super letter. I started out on WW and lost alot going into this surgery. I continued to go to the meetings till about a year ago. I only missed the meeting of the week after my surgery, and no one but the instructor ever knew that I had the band. I hit a plataeu right around this time last year and decided that the money was a waste. Why pay someone to tell me I had gained a 1/2 pound or didn't lose any at all. Well, in the last year I have managed to lose only about 35lbs. Yes a loss but I keep reminding myself that it could have been so much better. That I am better than that. Still can't figure out where my head is but we aren't out of the game completely. I did weight this morning and am still at the same weight. I haven't eaten since Sunday morning but have drank a boat load of diet 7up. There's new sheets on the bed. Jammies are all washed and I made a pot of Cheesy Tater soup for dinner tonight. I think I'll crawl into my jammies and grab my blanket and hit the remote and get caught up on a few shows. As far as work goes. I have called in replacements but the girl that does the south store in the morning was already working and everyone else has kids that they have to get up and get ready for school. My shift on Wednesdays is 6am to 8am, so it really wasn't that bad. I pretty much stayed away from everyone and used a lot of GermX. I don't have to be at work for a couple of more days now. Plenty time to get me feeling 89%.

I'm alive, barely. But alive. I'll spare you all the nasty details but suffice it to say that the worst is still to come out of me. I did manage to eat about 3/4 cup of chicken noodle soup last night and it tasted good. I tried to get someone to cover my shift this morning, but nope. So I have to go in. At least it's only for 2 hours. When I get home I'm gonna strip the bed and get my room all cleaned up. Maybe let hubby back in bed with me. lol. Tweety, I had been on Weight Watchers going into my surgery and had lost a lot of weight. Enough that my Doctor did not require a pre-op diet for me. Good Luck and keep us posted. I am continually rubbing my collar bones. It's so foreign to me. And now I'm discovering hip bones. It's so weird and I love it. Have a good day and I'll check in soon. Thanks for all the well wishes, I appreciated all of them.

First time out of bed in 18 hours. Need to get blood flowing in a different direction. Headed back to bed now. I'll check in when I feel up to getting out of bed again. Thanks for the well wishes but the post about all the food is getting to me. :cursing:

Still sipping the ginger ale. Tummy has kinda growled a little and I have a hankerin for some turkey and stuffing. I'm just not going to push it. I may get a few crackers out and try them if I feel better. Candy Corn is no longer allowed in my house. At least not until my Doc appointment next week. I actually have 2 bags but they are put away and I will not get them out till after I see him. I have 5 totes of Fall and Halloween stuff. My favorite time of the year. I put it all up and than after Halloween, I take that stuff down and put it away and than after Thanksgiving I put all of that stuff away. What little Christmas stuff I have doesn't come out till about 2 weeks before. I hate early decorating. It drives me crazy to have all the Christmas stuff out for too long.

I stopped on the way home and got a case of diet 7up and a case of Ginger Ale. Working on that right now. Got my electric blanket turned on and just cuddled up for now. I'll try the soup later, don't feel like eatiing  right now.

Guess who is coming down with the Flu?????? And I had a Flu shot 2 weeks ago. Guess I got the wrong shot.

Just got up from my nap and need to get dressed to go get firewood. But guess what?????????? We have SUN. Oh, it's so nice and big and bright and shiny. I love it.

Woke up at 4am and just layed there in bed for 45 minutes before deciding to get up. Not sure what woke me and why I couldn't go back to sleep. Guess sometime today I'll have to take a nap. Tracy, with her making a payment and telling that she is going to make another one makes me think that she is at least trying. Hopefully it's a good start. I also agree about keeping your eyes open and get all of it in writing. I wonder if your nail falling off was for the same reason mine did. With you going and working out at the gym that could be it. Good Luck with it. Later today we are off to our property to see about collecting some firewood. It is so hard to get the guys motivated to do this. I finally just said that we were going. You should have seen the looks on their faces. Oh well. Time for another cup of hot cocoa.

Boy, I sure wish the sun would cme out. Even for fifteen minutes. We've had grey dreay skies for 4 days now. It's horrible. I need some sun.
-
Anyone that jumps out at me to try and scare me is going to get their balls kicked in. Or at least the S#$T knocked out of them. DON'T DO IT. Other than that I like scary stuff, just don't jump out at me. Hubby woke me up at 7am and I had 15 minutes to wake up, get dressed and get my butt to the gym. Crimany, I'm wiping sleep from my eyes while I'm walking on the treadmill. And than he wants to know what's wrong with me. Jeeez. So now I'm home, got my hot chocolate and the local news. I'm a happy girl. Only supposed to get up to 50 degrees today and a chance of snow flurries in the morning. We haven't seen the sun in about 4 days now. I'm becoming Vitamin D deficiant. Saw the report on the news this morning about the Cookie Diet. You eat 6 of these special cookies during the day when you get hungry and that consume 500 calories of protein at dinner time. I wonder how good tasting those cookies are. I bet not as good as mine. I'm going in to take my shower and get dressed and than take my sisters to the new Target store. We'll probably go out to lunch also. I'll check in later. Have a good day.

The cookies don't bother me, it's the dough I have a problem with. I could eat it all day. Work was really busy this evening, especially after the computer crashed. So I had to hand log everyone in. Other than that all was fine. I did a lot of cleaning this morning and feel good about it. Hope I get in that same mood tomorrow. I have a few things left I would like to get done. Cindy, Hope your sons ankle gets to feeling better soon.

Just had a close call with the washing machine. I was taking stuff out of the dryer and went to open the washer and noticed there was still water in it. It hadn't done it's final spin cycle. So I pulled the knob out, thinking I had accidently pushed it in with the basket. Nope nothing. Hubby came in and we unplugged and replugged it in. Pushed and pulled all the buttons and knobs. Did everything we could think of. So I told him to just forget it that I need to take a shower and than I would deal it later. He started to walk out the room and I reached up to pull the light chain and the washer came back on. We just stood there and laughed. I don't have a clue as to what happen, so weird. Last spring it was the dryer. It was so plugged up with lint in the hose that it shut it's self off instead of catching on fire.

Reflux is why there is a bottle of Rolaids on my nightstand. And learning not to eat after 7pm. I baked a batch of choco-chip cookies, spent 2 hours washing down the refridgerator in and out, mopping the kitchen floor and now finishing up on the laundry. And I still have to go to work later. But being busy keeps my mind off the food.

Morning Girls. Yesterday was a long day and extremly tiring for me. I had to work in the morning and than had some running around to do. Lots of errands in the morning that I needed to get done because I had to take my sisiter to go see a surgeon in the afternoon. She has this hugr protrusion in her groin area and we were thining that it was a hernia. The Doc said he didn't think it was one but wanted a cat-scan done to see what it is. She is on about 14 different meds and the risk of taking her off of them for the surgery out-weighs doing the surgery, so he wants to know exactly what he is dealing with. He than handed us a brochure on hernia's because he said it looked like he would be doing that kind of surgery. Now I'm confused. She does, she doesn't, she does.. When we got done there than I had to take her to the store and than get her home and reexplain it all to her. Mom, so glad to hear that the papaya helped out alot. I'll have to keep that in mind if I should ever have that problem. Glad you came here and hope you stay with us. Jenn, hope you are feeling a little better. I'm so jealous of your fire. We haven't even ordered our wood yet and it's been cold here the last 4 days. I could have torn it up. Have a great day everyone and I'll be in and out of here for a while.

Laura, whether it's off topic or not(let others decide) I think it's very important. Thank You for bringing it to our attention. The H1N1 flu is of a concern to me as I am diabetic. So far I have chosen to not take the shot but I did get the regular flu shot. Over 30,000 people a year die of the regular flu and that did make me take notice. How scary about your exercising and not being able to breath. Is this going to be hard for you or you do you have someone around that can be with you when you are exercising? I always workout by myself, well at least take my walks by myself. But I have my cell phone with me and I always have the doggie with me. My walk also takes me right by the fire station, somehow I look forward to having to be rescued by a young good looking uniformed man. My luck they would send a female cop to check out the situation. LOL. Just took my shower and will start to get ready for work in a little bit. I have a little running around to do before I have to go in. Have a good evening and I will check in later.
