Good Monday Morning All. I just finished reading the story of the little boy. Oh my, how awful. What is wrong with people. Is it really neccesary to kill these little kids. There was a little one killed last week here in MO. She was walking home from a friends house. They have a 15 year old in custody for that one. Even if they rape them or whatever sex things they do, do they really need to kill them. So sad, . Sis just came up to tell me they took 8 x-rays of her back and was amazed at all the hardware in there. Turns out she has a fractured coccyx. Advil, flexerall and vicodin for a week. And bed rest. Poor thing. They don't want her picking up anything, not even the pets. So I'm on extra duty this week. And today starts my "November to Remember". I'll remember it because it will be the month I get my head back in this and lose 8 pounds for the month. Wish me Luck. Everyone have a great day, I'll check in when I get off work.

Jenn, sorry to hear son is still very sick. Hopefully you can help him break that fever by giving him meds every 4 hours. Good Luck with that I hope all goes well with you dsd tomorrow and her surgery. Sis and her hubby were here giving doggie a bath. She came out holding him and started to go down the stairs. All of a sudden she went down. She hit her tail bone on the top step that has the metal strip to hold the carpet on. Thank God she didn't go forward and go all the way down the stairs. I took doggie from her and she walked down. She said she was ok but couldn't sit. That was all about 15 minutes ago. She just told me that they are going ot the ER to have her back x-rayed. She's the one that has the steel cage around her spine. 4 rods and 12 titanium screws. Boy, I sure hope she hasn't messed anything up. I'll let you guys know when I hear anything. Bless me Father fo I have sinned. I was a Glutton today. Just got back from our Church's Thanksgiving dinner. Holy Cow I can eat. I didn't eat my roll or the cranberry sauce. But everything else was wonderful. I'm sorry to be talking about it, but it was so good. And than to top it off I had a brownie. Ok, tomorrow I start back on journey. Got my journal out. The one I keep bringing out and never write in. Let's see how I manage this time with it.

Jenn, Hope you DS gets to feeling better. Poor thing. So it's a new month. Do we have a plan for this month? I'm going to shoot for a 8 pound loss. Also we need a "Drop the Crap" day, wanna make it a Tuesday? Think I'll go take doggie for a walk.

Good Sunday Morning. Tracy, thanks for sending the pics. I loved them. What a cutie pie. Good Luck with the candy. We still have 3 bags left. I was trying to give it out by the handfulls but ran out of kids. We had quite a few more kids this year than last. I called the vets office yesterday and left a message. They called back about an hour later and told me it was last January that this happened to Tippy. He said he would leave her meds by the back door. I was able to get there before he left and get her meds and some special food for her also. I walked out $75.00 poorer. Now the hard part starts. She is such a fighter. We have to wrap her in a blanket and restrain her, pull her cheek out and put the syringe in. Holy Cow. Hubby had the fireplace going when I got up. Guess I'll sit here for awhile and enjoy it. I was thinking about going for my walk. Maybe later today. Hope everyone is well.

Hey everyone. We spent the day out on our property cutting wood. It was such a lovely day for it. Now I'm home and hubby has brought wood in and has the fireplace all set up. He's so sweet. I got home from church a little while ago to find the cat laying in the cat box. She had a bladder thing last year and I'm wondering if she is having it again. I called the vets office and they are closed but have a hot-line, so I left a message. Hope they call back soon so I can get her on some meds before it gets bad for her. Poor thing. The bucket of candy is sitting on the piano. Hope they start showing up soon. Last night I took the kids over to the boo-fest and my niece was dressed up as a vampire. A five year old vampire, she was too cute. I'll post pics soon. Have a great evening.

Home from the BooFest and the kids had a great time. They ended up going thru it 4 times, they had so much fun. We had first went to Wendy's so I could feed them and than to Church. It was a really fun time. Tomorrow we are headed out to the property to cut wood and bring it back and stack it. Fire in the fireplace tomorrow night. I'll be happy. I pulled a couple of roast out to put in the crockpot in the morning. It'll be a long day again. Sunday is my slow day, maybe not even get out of my PJ's. Oooops, yes I will. It's our annual Turkey dinner at church. So I'll run up there to get take out.

Jenn, is that a real tattoo??? Stopped by my sisters to drop off her bills and to pick up the sewing machine. I was in a hurry and left real quick. I than drove to the church for a funeral. I went in to go to the bathroom and I checked my phone. There was 4 calls. I listened to them and it was my sister, she was calling to see why I was mad at her. She was crying in each call. I called her back and she was afraid that I left so fast becasue I was mad at her. I reassured her I wasn't, that I had to leave to go to a funeral. She was all wigged out, so I got her calmed down and I headed back into church. Ughh. Home now and resting for awhile before I head back to work. When I get done there I'm gonna go pick the kids up. I'm looking forward to spending a little time with them. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Morning girls. Kat, my hideout place is my bathroom. The family knows when I go in there that they are not allowed to even knock on the door. The only time they can bother me is if the house is on fire, other than that they are to leave me alone. sometimes I just go in there to be by myself and get my head back on straight. I put the lid down on the toilet and just sit and do my thinking or not. My alone time, I can do what I want. It just so happens that the drawer on the counter pulls out right in front of me and make a little desk for me. I can put a magazine there or a puzzle book or even my laptop if I ever think I need to get away for that long. LOL. Michelle. I love the smell of wood burning. When I take my walks on cold days, I love to get a whiff of a wood burning stove. Good job on getting the pizza for those hardworking guys. Bless you. I need to get ready to head to a funeral. Than I have to work later today. I get off at 6pm and than will go pick the kids up and take them over to church for their BooFest. I'm so looking forward to it. Poor Cindy, I hope the little pumpkins survived the night. I never have to worry about my husband doing anything like that, he doesn't know what the inside of a store looks like. I'm the problem. I buy the stuff, it's all me. Someday I will learn.

Hey All, Home from work. I ate dinner and now I'm catching up on "All My Children". Than it's off to bed. I'm pooped. Tomorrow is another very busy day for me. I'm looking forward to Sunday. Nothing so far is planned for that day. My eating was out of control today. I'm thinking it was because I went to the Docs yesterday and I know I don't have to see him for a while. Kinda like on the day you weigh in at WW and than head to a restaurant to pig out. I need to get some of what Tracy and Jenn have and get my head back in this game. The 5 pounds down is great and I will take it. It's just that I have been at this for so long that I've lost patience with myself. I'm back to that way of thinking that I want it and I want it now. Good Morning Folks. Left my house at 5:30am yesterday and didn't get back home till 10:30pm. It was a very long day but a very enjoyable day also. First it was my six hour shift at work and than off to the Doc's office. I'm down 5 pounds, not real happy about it but I'll take it. I was hoping for at least 8 pounds because of being sick last week. We had a good talk about that and I found out that I should have called for some nausea med. Left there and it was off to go meet up with my friend Judy. We met at a Chinese Buffet. Holy cow, that was all I needed. So we sat in the restaurant for 3.5 hours talking and enjoying the conversation and laughing. It was such a good time. I miss her being close to me. Wish I could see her more often. So I left there and had to drive all the way home to get hubby and BIL so we could drive back to the Casinos. It was my nephews 21st. B-day. We ended up gambling for about 30 minutes and was out $10.00. Ran into some cousins and than we headed to the Buffet. I could barely eat anything and it was a waste of $15.00. We didn't eat till about 9:15pm. I hate eating that late at night. So far today I'm having a quiet day. I have a few things to do around the house and than I have my afternoon shift. Sometime in there I need to get some walking in. I'm up to date on Flash Forward and I find it very intriguing. I'm also watching Mercy. I hope they don't get me hooked and than cancel the shows. Good Morning. I have a super duper busy day today. Work and than have to head over ot Kansas for my appointment with my Band Doc. Than meet my friend Judy for a couple of hours and than drive all the way home to pick Hubby up to drive back to the Casinos. Today is my nephews 21st B-day and we are going out to dinner. I'm gonna be worn out tonight. I most likely will not get a fill. I really don't think I need one. What I need to do is to keep away from the halloween candy. I need to quit thinking that I can eat it all. I know I have lost weight but not as much as I should have and that's what I hate. Have a great day and I will check in late this evening.

Back home from my trip to Columbia to see Janiebug. It was so good to see her and I gave her hugs from everyone. I just enjoy spending time with her, wish we lived closer. I wish I could show you a pic of us but we didn't take any. Oh well, maybe next time. I just called her to tell her I made it home and she still had about 20 more miles to go. We met at Olive Garden and then went over to the Mall and walked. We stopped at the food court and got Orange Julius's and sat and talked for about an hour. Next spring I'm gonna try to go spend a few days with her and seee her part of the State.

Hey Folks. Went to work this morning and did a 4 hour shift, stopped on the way home and got 2 slabs of ribs at our local BBQ place. They were on sale for $12.99 each. I got to eat one rib and it was yummy. Our church did a Boo Fest in the Gym and I went over there. It was so cool. I hope the kids all had a great time. After I got home, Sis and her hub took us out to a place to show us some peoples house's were they really went all out decorating for Halloween. They did an awesome job on both places. I love this time of year. In the morning I will get up and get ready to drive to Columbia for the day. Gonna meet up with Jane and spend some time with her. It's about a 2 hour drive for her and about 1 and 45 minutes for me. I enjoy the times we get together. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I managaed to get down a scrambled egg and a piece of toast. It made hubby happy that I ate something. My tummy is still trying to decide. I did buy some gatorade at the store, hoping that will help with the potassium.
