Off to work and then a very busy day. Have a good one and try to be a model Bandster. LOL.

Awwwwww Kat, snuggle time. I was making my bed this morning and I got to thinking about you writing about making your bed and all the pillows on it. I have just 2 regular size pillows and 2 pillows with matching quilt shams and then on little throw pillow. I like the looks of all those pillows, just don't think I want to mess with all of them. I worked most of the day on the quilt for the Project Linus group. I just need to put the binding on it. Hubby got his quilt done. He has one more to go. He's doing the fleece blankets. That was something he could handle. I'm so proud of him. I'll be gone most of the day tomorrow. I have my Docs appontment at 1pm and than will meet up with my friend and spend about 4 hours with her. So by the time I drive home, it will be late. But I will check-in in the morning. Back to the Olympics.

Getting snow flurries right now. I70 is closed down in Kansas. Both west bound and east. Roads are very slick. The are telling people to stay home. Glad I am home. We are fixing shrimp for dinner. Some fried tators and salad. Yum Yum.

Happy Valentine's Day to All of You. Happy Anniversary Tracy. Off to watch more Olympics.
-
Went to the support group meeting this morning and decided to get on the scale there. Turns out I weigh 5 more pounds with all my clothes on. If that wasn't enough, I come home and my older sis got me so worked up I just wanted to stuff my face. Urgggg. Hubby said he just wants some chicken noodle soup for dinner. I love my Hubby. Off to watch the Olympics.

I hate my scale. I haven't been on it for a week and decided to see this morning what it had to say. I know I haven't been the most model Bandster but Holy Cow. You would have thought that as good as I did this last week that it would have shown an improvement. Makes one want to just go dive in to the refridgerator. But I won't I still have a fill appointment Monday and still need to be on my best behavior. Last night we watched the Olympics and thought they were great. Beautiful job on showing the beauty of Cnanda and the singing was great. K.D. Lang has always been a favorite of mine. I love her voice. But my favorite part of it all was the Whales. That was so cool. I hope the ending doesn't overshadow all the hard work that went into the production. Canada should be proud. Off for a very busy day.

Kat, that is so scary. I have never given blood. I'm anemic and they won't take it. But how scary wondering if it would ever stop. And then the drama in the bathroom. Sitting here watching the Olympics. I only watched the accident once. I can't bring myself to watch it again. How horrible for that poor boy. And tragic for his family and team mates. Would love to have some popcorn while watching this but it's too late. Can't eat this close to bedtime. Night.

Watching Oprah and she had Lionel Ritchie on. Oh MY. I love his music. Got all my pieces cut out for the quilt and need to peice them together. Also got both fleece blankets cut. Now just need to show Hubby how to tie them. That's his part of this. Now to get ready to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremony. Can't hardly wait. Have a great evening.

Don't be proud of me. If it wasn't for Hubby, I wouldn't go. LOL. I have 20 ounces of water down and working on my next 20. Really going to try to get my 100 ounces in today.

Back from the gym and I really worked it out this morning. Now I'm gonna have a cup of hot cocoa and then get my houseowrk done. Today looks like a good day to work on the quilt. I'll be able to work on it again Sunday and hopefully finish it up. We are so excited because tonight the Openeing Ceremony for the Olympics is on. Hubby and I are huge followers of all the sports. We try to watch as much as we can. We are so in awe of all those kids. The determination that they have. I hope you all get a chance to watch them. Busy Saturday ahead of me. If the weather is ok, I will head to the Support Group meeting. I haven't been since October. Just seem something always comes up. I either had to work or it was snowing. Then we have a bunch of running around to do. I'll check in soon.
-
Off to bed. I know Hubby will be waking me up early to go to the gym. Ughhhhh. But I'm glad he does. It's good for me. See you all tomorrow.
-
Oh Jenn, I am so sorry for you. That totally sucks about your refund. But plaese don't give up on us. We will always be here for you to vent too. Pop in when you need. Take good care of yourself.
-
I wanna go with Kat also. I wonder if Hubby would be up to taking the Harley on that long of a ride. It would take us at least 3 days to get there. Not sure but I think it would be about 1,000 miles for us. I'll go chek it out. Off to go do our shift at hospital.

A lady that comes into workout is the President of the KC Chapter of Project Linus. She somehow talked me into piecing the tops for quilts for them. It's been kind of interesting to do.
-
Headed out the door for the gym. Hubby was nice enough to wake me up at 6:30 so I could go with him. And it's only 3 degrees above zero. Isn't he a great guy. LOL. Be back soon.

Jenn, when I come to visit we will make a trip to "The City". I have only been thru Buffalo on our way to the Falls. Kat, I so want to go with you guys. That just sounds like to much fun. Michelle. Don't know if we will be making it to your area. If it does look like it, I will give you a holler. Long day today and I'm pooped. Had just gotten settled down and was looking at my e-mail and got a message from a guy that was looking for a vaccum on Freecycle. Said he would be here about 7:30. I had to get right back up and go to the garage and bring the sweeper in and get it wiped down. I did just as the guy was pulling in the driveway. Now it's on to American Idol.

Quick check in. All went fine at my physical. The only thing they didn't do was check my hearing. They said I didn''t need to do that this time. They are sending everything in to the labs so it will be a little while before I find out if they find anything. Yesterday I sewed on the quilt top. I got it ironed out and now need to make some cuts and do a little more sewing. That will make 2 quilt tops that I have made for Project Linus. Just 2 more to go and Hubby and I will have our free admission tickets to Disneyland. Jenn, I would love to come and visit you. Hopefully the following summer we can make that trip. Off to work. See ya later this evening.

Yes girls, if all goes well. Hubby and I will be on the road in Sept. I already put in for 3 weeks off at work. I'm really looking forward to this. Today is a super duper busy day. I work for 3 hours and than come home to get hubby and then drive about 20 miles to go do my 3 year physical. This is the one where they test me for any contamination from the place that I used to work at. They are the ones that did the chest x-ray that showed something in my lungs. Anyway, it takes about 3-4 hours to be tested. Then back home to get ready to work this evening. Once again I traded Thursday for today with another girl. So I will be pooped when I get home tonight. Good thing about it is that I won't have to work again till Monday. A SuperBowl High??????? Tracy, by the time I get to your house, I will be exhausted from being on the road. I will definately be ready for a few Margi's by then. I hope you and Frank are up to it. Hubby is a Busch drinker. Everyone have a great day. I'll check in when I can.

I'm still on my mission. Jenn, glad to hear you are feeling a little bit better. I hate that not breathing thing. It's awful when you lay down and can't breath. I drank a lot of hot cocoa this morning. 4 cups. That's more than I usually drink, but it tasted so good. I need to switch over to tea. Not so many calories. Now on to my water. I'm donating a day of volunteering for the Disney Group. I'm making blankets for Project Linus. That way when we go to L.A. we can get in free to Disneyland. Kat, we will be stopping by in mid september. We will probably spend the night at a local hotel. Hope you have a Motel 8 near. Than we will be on to Tx. and guess who I will be seeing there????? Back to my housework now. I just finished cleaning the fireplace. Got the ashes all scooped up and in the bucket. It's now sitting outside. Flue is closed and doors are shut. A cold front is coming in and I need to button down. Catch ya later.

Morning Girls. I hope Tracy survived last night. We got snow but not as much as they were calling for. So far no school closings so I guess I better get dressed and head to work. lol. Hard week ahead of me. I have a fill appointment next monday and I need to step it up this week. I can do this. Everyone have a great day.

Cindy, OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish we had a nice enough day to grill. Enjoy the fun. Not sure if I will stay up late enough to see the end of the game. I have to be at work at 6am. It's supposed to start snowing later today, so not even sure if I will be going into work. If the schools are closed than we don't open till 9am. My shift is 6-9am so you see my delimma(sp?). Right now just enjoying a clean house and a fire going.
-
Yeah, I came home to a fire and than fell asleep in front of it. We eventually got about 3/4's of an inch of snow. Woke up and got started on making cupcake, brownies and fudge. Got all of that done and than made a big pot of chili. I fixed me a couple of tacos for lunch and than cleaned the kitchen. Now I'm back in my chair watching recorded shows and enjoying the fire. Kat, how lucky that you got those cabinets. I would love to have a laundry room. My sister in law has a great one. I have a closet in the front bathroom. There's lots of room but I would like to have room to hang things to dry and iron things. Michelle, glad to hear that your daughter doesn't have an UTI. I wonder what is causing her problems. Keeping my fingers crossed that it clears up fast and that she doesn't have to much more pain.
-
Boy Kat, you got lucky. Just having to pour milk over cereal. Hope you idn't hurt yourself lifting the milk bottle, lol. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the antibiotics will still help out with the mass. It's still a spooky thing. Michelle, Hope your little girl gets to feeling better. That just tears at your heart when kids are sick. Slept like crap last night. Usually do when they call for snow and I don't know if I have to go into work in the morning or not. Well, of course they got the weather wrong again. They were calling for several inches this morning and right now it's just barely misting. So now I have to go into work just barely awake. Good thing is I only work 3 hours and can come home and go right back to bed. Bad thing is that I have to do some baking for our Bake Sale at Church this weekend. Last night I went to our monthly Women's Ministry meeting and they had a Taco Bar set up for us. It was really good. I love tacos could have eaten 6 of them but kept it to just one. Still need to keep myself on track. I have a fill appointment coming up on the 15th. I won't be getting a fill, right now I feel comfortable. It's just that it keeps me accountable if I know I have to go see the Doc. I know I said I feel comfortable with what restriction I have. I also still find myself pushing my band to the limit. I hate that I do that. Everyone have a great day.

Up and running late. Off to get a bunch of stuff done. Have a good day and I check in later.
