Good early Tuesday morning. I woke up around 3:30am and laid there till 4am. Got up and took my shower and washed my hair. It's gonna be a long day and I won't have time for a quick nap. Good thing I don't have to work tomorrow. Tracy, I had heard that about that movie. A real tearjerker. I haven't seen it yet but look forward to seeing it. Michelle, too bad it won't work out for you at Curves. It's such an easy job. But the hours do suck. I have to be open by 6am on Monday and Tuesday and every other friday. And even tho we close at 7pm, I don't get out of there right away because there is clean up that needs to be done. Well, hopefully something else will come your way soon. Kat, we didn't get the frogs last night, they were kind of quiet. Maybe the pool pump going tamed them down a little. How are things going with MIL? Is she still taking those shots? Hey guys and any new people that want to join us. What a day. I'm exhausted and my Butt hurts. Got home from work and hubby and I took off to go get a hose and chemicals for the pool. Got back and we were having a heck of a time getting the hose back on so I called my nephew Luke. I went and picked him up and within 30 seconds he had it on. YoungUn's. So then we spent the rest of the day outside working on getting things ready to go for this weekend. Wish we could go swimming now but we haven't put the chemicals in yet. It's so hot and humid here. We have been lucky so far that we have been able to survive with just the attic fan. Any hotter and the AC will go on. It's usually late June before we do that. Tomorrow I am working a double shift and inbetween going to meet a friend for lunch. She's in town from Florida on her way to South Dakota. So I'll take a few hours to go spend with her. Then back to work. I won't bore you but I have sister drama going on right now.:tongue2: Angela, I agree with everyone else. I was thinking the same thing as I was reading your post. Oh, and you can add me to FB. Hi Jenn. Have fun on the Harley. Tracy, I am that way about pills. I really don't want to take any at all. Not even aspirin. My hubby worked in a Auto Factory for over 30 years. No AC or heat. In the summer months they would pass out Gatorade and coolie wraps for their necks. Someone was always passing out. Long time ago they used to hand out salt tablets but gave that up and went to Gatorade. Sometimes it would get up to 125 degrees in that place. Guys used to post thermometers on their tool boxes. Poor guys. I cooked ribs out on the grill and had some corn on the cob. Off to go clean up now. Chat later.

Woke up at 3:30am. It's so muggy here. We ahve the attic fan going on low but still kinda uncomfortable. I'll go back to bed here soon. We would keep the frogs if they were just regular frogs (which we do have one). But these are tree frogs, absolutely the noisiest little buggers you have ever heard. So loud. My neighbors have even commented on them. So they can go live at the creek about a mile down the road. They'll be happier. Janiebug, if you check in. Happy Birthday.

OMG. I wish you could hear these frogs. They are so tiny but sound like they are Bullfrogs. I think they must be calling their missing family members. They probably will be joining them tomorrow if they keep this up. LOL.

Diantha, that was the other plant I got planted. Ended up being a beautiful day here today And we got alot done. One of the things we did was capture 2 little tree frogs that were hanging around the deck and the pool. Got them put in to a tub and in the car and drove about 3/4 of mile away to a little creek and dropped them off. Got home and we now have 2 more that we will have to catch. Guess we must have had a full family. Kat, I hope you can still get a good nights sleep. Things might ease up a little when Rick gets home. Same thing happens to me. I make a senseless little statemant such as "I don't have to work tomorow" and the family jumps on it. I think they think I am at their beck and call. BIL grilled sausages and yellow and red peppers. Oh my it was delicious. Hi everyone.

Michelle, I never heard that about Kevin Costner. I would say that right now they need to rey everything possible. Keeping my fingers crossed that they find something soon. Good luck on the job search. Geraniums, petunias. coleous, rose moss and a few other things are now planted. Pool hoses are hooked up. Water being pumped in the pool right now. Very productive day here. Tomorrow we will run the vaccum on the pool and then add the chemicals. Looks like we will be ready by next weekend. :thumbup: Now shower time and then off to church.

Good Saturday Morning. Sun is shining and it's supposed to get up to 85 today. Looks like a good day for the pool but too bad we don't have it all hooked up. Gonna get that done today. There was a couple of things planned for today but they fell thru so later hubby and I will get the hoses hooked up and get the pump going. Tomorrow I have a grad party and a b-day party to go to. Back from the bank and the grocery store. They were having a huge sale at the store. I went to get a few things and ended up with a boat load. 6 bags of various chips. I keep those around for when the kids show up to go swimming, I then have snacks for them. 3 boxes of cheez-its and the best part was they had yellow and red peppers on sale. I love to cook those out on the grill. Or even cut them up for my salads. yummy. Now I'm just waiting for the next door neighbor to call. We are off to have a margarita and chew the fat for a little bit. Hope Angela got on the road and is doing good. Keep my fingers crossed for good weather for them. Hope you all had a good day. Boy, did we get lucky. We mowed for about 2 1/2 hours and the belt broke on the riding lawnmower. So we were headed back to the shed to put it away and get the other push mower so we could finish up. We had about another 2 hours to go. I decided to call the guy in charge and tell him about the belt and he wanted to know why we were there. Huh?? Oh dear, they got the schedule mixed up and forgot that we would be there this week and they scheduled for the Men's Ministry to come and do the yard work this weekend. So we put everything back in the shed and got our butts out of there. They can finish up what we didn't get done. But it's a mess there. So much rain and there was still puddles of water everywhere. My pants are soaked up to my knees. Time to go take my shower.

Kat, sounds like you and Kinsey had a great time. What a lovely thing to do with her, build memories. Keeping my fingers crossed for your MIL and also hoping things go good with FIL. Tracy, I just wish they would all quite lying to us about what happened and what is going on. They act like we are stupid when they say 5 thousand gallons a day and then days later say they were wrong and it's way more than that. I'm so sad for all the people that rely on the gulf for their living. We were supposed to cut grass at the church yesterday but it is so soggy and we decided to wait till today. Now hubby went back to bed because he didn't sleep well last night. Looks like a long day here. JENN??????????????

Oh Angela, that sounds wonderful. I'm so happy for you guys. I bet your husband is ready to leave right now. We had some friends that had ducks. One was named Mal and the other Ard. When one died, the parents insisted that it was Ard that died. lol. Have a great weekend and stay safe.

Angela, what do you have going this weekend? something fun? Or are you just ready for the week to be over with? I'm ready for both. A fun weekend with friends and family and all the running around I did this week is done.

Good morning girls. The rain has fianlly stopped. Amen. We should be dry for about 4 days. I'm gonna work real hard to make this a good day. I'm home till 3pm when I have to go into work. It's days like this that I let my eating get away from me. Not today. I have some new projects I'm going to start and that will keep my mind busy and not thinking about eating. How many days till school is out???? June 3rd here. They have to make up snow days.

Kat, that is so sweet of you to do that for your FIL. I know I used to do Hubby's right after we were married. I taught him how to soak his feet in order to cut the nail. He was dry cutting them, ouch. So he does his own now. I have never tried to do anyone elses. Sometimes the thought does roll my tummy. Home from our work at the hospital. We had such a good time. Dinner wasn't all that I wanted it to be. I was so hoping that they would have chili there. The pot was almost bare. So I settled for a salad and grapes. Now I'm in my chair with my jammies on and going to watch Idol. Night.

Michelle, my latest job fell in my lap. I was at Curves working out when the owner asked if I would be interested in a PT job. Ok. So I put in 10-12 hours a week. I love it. I get to work out, work for a few hours, meet new people and talk all I want and get paid for it. Dream job. Good luck. Ok, I'm done with Doctors for a month at least. Latest news- They have found another cyst. This one is on my pericardigm (sp?). So the Doc today ordered an echocardiogram. I had one done about 20 years ago. She wants to see where it is at and if it might be putting any pressure on the heart. She did read the MRI on the spine and told me that the cyst on spine will have to be removed. I told her that I have an appointment with the Ortho Doc and the Spine Specialist next week. Sis just asked me if I have had my Mammogram done yet. I gave her that look. No more pictures, they keep finding things. So now I'm home and resting for awhile. We will be doing our shift at the hospital tonight and that's ok. It's raining and they are calling for it to rain almost all night. So if I was home I would just be sitting here on my sore butt and worrying. I for on am glad that Ochocinco went home. But I don't know who I want more to win. Evan or the girl with the dark hair. She is soooooo good. Make it a good one.

Kat, I just love how you and your friend Marie get to spend some time together. That's so neat. Also I will keep you in-laws in my prayers. I know how you feel about the family. Mine also thinks I should be at their beck and call. I went thru a little of it with my sister today. She thinks I sit here at the house doing nothing but waiting for her to call so I can jump in my car and go cater to her. Drives me crazy. Hubby and I just spent a really nice evening sitting out on the deck with the kitties listening to the Royals ball game. I put some hot dogs on the grill. He gets the bun-length regular dogs and I get the turkey dogs. I have eaten them for years and now find I can't do regular dogs anymore. Funny thing. Gonna finish up watching DWTS and then head to bed. I have to work in the morning. We have a girl on vacation and I'm filling in for her. Then I have a docs appointment. My 6 month kidney check up. Night everyone.

Hey. Guess what??????????? The Pool is Open. :thumbup: We got the cover off and am now adding more water to it. That will be all for the day. We will wait till this weekend to hook the hoses up and get it fully functioning. Hopefully monday or tuesday we can start the heater and have it ready by Memorial Day weekend. Summers almost here. I woke up this morning starving. That was at 4:30am. I fought it off till 9:30 and I stopped on my way over to get my sis at Sonic and got a breakfast burrito. I only ate half of it and threw the rest away. Yes, I said I threw the rest away. I'm so proud of myself. That held me off for about 4 1/2 hours. I thought that was excellent. I was really worried that I was going to regret having any fluid taken out. So far I'm ok with it. Hope you are all having a good day. Welcome back Tracy and I'm with you, where the heck is Jenn????

Cindy, you are too funny. Actually he has been there for awhile. I just have never found the proper time to use him. lol. Kat, so glad to hear that you and Rick had a good time. Drama is something that I tried not to have around here but it always has a way of creeping in. Home from the Docs and work. Things didn't go well at the Docs office. Well, not all of it was bad. From the last time I had seen him I did lose 10.6 pounds, so that was good. Nikki did tell me that she is fighting the Insurance co. Seems they are giving her all kinds of run around. They want a referral. They want documentation, etc. etc. The Doc said that they suggested that he empty my band. He told them that was not an option. The hernia will not repair itself and needs to be operated on. The fluid being taken out will only relieve the reflux and not fix it. Beside they would be defeating the purpose of the band then. He said that they will keep at them and get it taken care of but that it will take a little longer. So he asked me if I would like to have some fluid taken out. HELL NO, I said(not really). I told him that I didn't want to do that and he reassured me that he was not going to empty my band, that he just wanted to take out .5cc's, 1 at the most. He said it would be enough to help relieve the reflux but not enough to make me gain weight again. He said I probably wouldn't notice it. So I agreed to have it done. I wasn't a happy perosn when I left. We left there and went to go get some lunch and boy did I find out that I can't eat anymore than I did before. So that's a good thing. So now it's head to bed time. Gotta work in the morning then take older sis grocery shopping. She's still planning on moving into the apartment next o her in the next week or so. Looks like it will be a good move for her. Tracy in Tahiti???? I can picture that. Looks good.

Oh Bethany, I hope your day gets better for you. My mojo will be back when the sun comes out. I seem to want to do so much more when it's sunny and warm, that's why this 3 days of rain is getting me down. I went to WW this morning and am down a few more pounds. Now I wonder how many I will be down when I go to the Docs here soon. I'm hoping for a fill but by my calculations I'm down 8 pounds since my last visit. Not sure he will give me one. I'll talk to him about it. Forgot I have to fill in for a girl at work this evening. Her daughter has something to do at school and she wanted to know if I could come in and close for her. Hope Tracy is lucky on her trip.

Morning Girls. I have a long day today so I will check in when I can. My appointment with my Band Doc will be later this afternoon. Depending on wether I get a fill or not we might stop on the way home and get some dinner. As long as hubby is with me I'll try to get him to go out to eat, lol. So I'll post when I get home on wat Doc had to say. Rain has stopped and they say we might see some sun this evening. Good thing. We need about 3 days of sunshine to dry everything out. A day of sewing and computing. Boy my Ass is sore.

Morning. Guess what? It's raining and they are calling for rain all day into tomorrow morning. :redface: That will give me a chance to get some more sewing done. I did alot last night while going thru movies that I have recorded. Tomorrow is my appointment with my band Doc. Looking forward to it. I need to get this surgery scheduled. I have had a few more episodses of aspiration. Truly scary but am glad that I wake up in time. Kat, a ride sounds lovely. I hope you guys enjoy your day. You and Rick need a little break from the family drama. Tracy, I think in my spare time I will go see if I can get that book at the library or at least put my name on the list for it. Enjoy your little outing also. Too bad about the kitty. I would take him but I have 3 to many right now. 2 are actually brother and sister and Molly we got when we went to Arkansas for a visit. Hey. Sitting here trying to get that damp chilly feeling out of my bones. It has rained all day and it's only in the mid 50's. I had to go dig out a winter long sleeve shirt to wear. Brrrrr. Tracy and Angela, how cool that you guys might be able to meet up to go walking together. I love to walk and mainly do it by myself, well plus doggie. I normally don't like for people to walk with me because they always walk faster than me and I get worn out to fast. But if I had someone that stayed with me I would love it. Good luck with you guys getting together. I have tried crocheting and knitting but like I said, if I would just stick with it and keep practicing till I got better than I would do it alot more. I also don't have the patience. Rain tonight and 70% chance of rain tomorrow. But the next 3 days after that we have all sunshine and warmth. Looks like we will be able to get the pool cover off. Yea.... Now it's movie time. Night all.
