Someday I'm going to have to go to NM and go horseback riding. That just sounds so nice. I haven't been since I was a teenager. My girlfriend and I used to go all the time. Her family owned 9 horses. I miss it. We got enough sprinkles tonight to mess up the dirt on our cars. Supposed to get somemore rain and possile some snow this weekend. Did my work out tonight and than came home and had a salad and a slice of Papa Murphy's pizza. That last bite was a little too much. Got all my water in though 120 ounces. Good Morning and Thank You all for replying. Judy I'm still crying after reading your post. I think that is my biggest saddest regret. That my Parents aren't alive to see this. However I do feel in my heart that they ae extremely proud of me. I feelthat they somehow had a hand in my finding Dr. Malley. I too also have a very wonderful Doctor. I just think that I'm alot hader on myself than I need to be. I keep looking forward and still see a mountain in front of me and it's hard to keep the momentum going. I see all these people that have made it and I'm just sad that I'm not there. My day will come and I know that, it's just hard. Thank You, Thank You for all hanging in there with me. Hugs.:grouphug: Now, I have a secret to tell you. Shhhh, We got our tax refund and it's huge. So this weekend we are going to the pool store and ordering our pool. Finally. Oh No. me in a bathing suit??? Not pretty but it's my backyard and if the neighbors don't like it they need to quit looking.

My question is for everyone. When you go in for an appointment and you get on the scale and it hasn't moved in the right direction or you stay the same. What does your Doctor have to say to you. Are they compationate or do the give you a hard time? What are some of your responses to you not losing weight? What do you say to your Doctor? I know I can't have been the only person to have walked in there and not have lost weight. I know this is a slow process and that I could lose faster if I ate 500 calories a day. I'm not willing to do that. I try to keep it 1000 to 1200 calories. No matter what my loss is or how slow it is, I'm the happiest girl. I Love my band and because of it I'm 143 pounds lighter and I know that I will never gain that back. Just wanted your opinion on this. Thanks.

Michelle, You look amazing. What a big difference. Be very proud of yourself. Just got home from our shift at the hospital. We were very busy. Got to go to the birthing center and we heard a newborn. Didn't get to see it. Now we are home and my feet are killing me. That 2 mile walk the other day did me in and I'm still recuperating from it. This morning I had to open the store at 6am. That meant I had to get up at 4:30 to get ready. Than I only worked 2 hours. Can't figure out what kind of shift that is. Weird. Tomorrow's a very busy day for me. I'm tired just thinking about it. Watching Idol to see how David is doing. I hope he makes it through. He's pretty good. Have a great evening.

Kat, I loved the story of your trip to Mexicali and about your grandmother. I do believe in Angels and I think you had found one. How special that you were directed in the right way. Speaking of that story, I ran to wal-mart after work this morning and I was dragging 2 carts out to my car. I got to where I was going to open the trunk and I looked down and there was a penny on the ground. I immediately thought of you and than looked again and there was another penny and another penny and more and more. I actually bent over and picked up all of them and put tham in my pocket. When I got home I emptied them out and counted them, there was fifty nine pennies. Not sure what that means but I'll pass my luck around. Back in the early 70's my brother was playing in a tournament and it was held in Caliexico. So off we went and stayed with some people in Mexicali. All I remember was how hot it was. It was so hot that theu didn't start the ballgames till midnight. The second games were at 3am. Even with that it was still in the high 90's. We spent aout 4 days there. Hope you have a great day

Michelle and Laura, Congrats to both of you. Truly inspiring. Weather was nice enough to go to the park today and walk. It felt great. Took doggy with us and he had a ball. Came home and sat outside with the kitties. Tomorrow it's back to losing weight again These last 3 days have been atrociuos (SP?). Out of control. So this is a warning to all. Pam, The Winchester House was one of my favorite things to see when we would go to San Francisco. We would stop in San Jose for a day and visit. I like the staircase where the steps were only an inch high. Took forever to get up them. Maybe it was the Ghost and not the tequila?????

I think I need a hip replacement. Last night we had the next door neighbors over along with their in-laws and a few other friends. It's Mike last weekend here. He leaves for Kosovo on Monday and will be gone a whole year. We decided to have a real nice get together for him and spend as much time as we could. So off to the store I went and spent about a hundred dollars on food. We ended up having a shrimp fry and boil. OMGoodnes. It was absolutely delicious. I mean better than and restaurant I've been too. So afterwards we go over to their house to play Wii. Here lies my problem. I think I threw my hip out playing bowling. We had such a good time and spent 2 hours laughing like crazy. Now I need to go figure out how to do a workout today so I can burn off the 10 shrimp I managed to get down last night. When is Tracy supposed to be back from her Honeymoon? Michelle, congrats on the NSV. That was awesome. Everyone have a great day.

Lunasa, Welcome back. We missed you alot. Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, busy, busy and busy. All day long. Got home at 9:15 and was in bed at 9:45. Doing pretty good on my eating and even managed to lose 1.4 pounds last week. That was even after eating a DQ blizzard. I have my next appointment on the 19th. Looks like I might have a 13lb. loss for this visit. All is good with me but I think the hubby is having a relapse with his cold. He's back in bed right now after being up all night. Hope no one else comes down with this gucky stuff. Everyone have a great day and make sure you are getting your water in.

Woke up and came out from taking my shower to find out there had been a party in my living room last night. Yikes. You should see the mess. rugs turned over toys all over the place and kat-grass everywhere. Kitties must have had a wild time. Guess that's what you get when they sleep all day. Some times this site drives me crazy. Wanted to get on here this morning and it kept saying "Forbidden". WTF???? Not much going on. I worked this morning and came home and paid bills. Took off to go mail them and ended up at Hobby Lobby. I love a 1/2 price sale. Walked out with alot for the deck. Now just need for spring to ge here. Ok, Suzie is now sick. The topper was sitting underneath the air vents in the restaurant. Got home a litle while ago and have already taken some meds. Keep your fingers crossed that I nip this in the bud. I have to busy of a schedule this week. Other than that Judy and I had a great lunch and long talk and a little shopping. We always have sucha good time when we get together. Snow storm is coming in over night. The last 2 days have been wonderful here. Supposed to be back in the low 3o's by the end of the week. It's a beautiful day here today but very, very windy. Hope Tracy has a lot of hairspray. Just glad it's not rainy and cold for her big day. Other than working this morning not much going on. Hubby got the Harley out and road it down the street. He's still not feeling real whip right now. Should be back to par in a day or two. Going to go meet my friend Judy tomorrow. Terry, Loved that. Working on lunch here. 1- string cheese, 1/2 cup cottage cheese with pineapple. Unfortunately I have already had 4 Famous Amos cookies. (they were so good). I have to work this afternoon. 2:30-7:30. I kinda like the afternoon shift. I can get alot done in the morning and it keeps me away from the afternoon munchies. TracyKS must be really busy.
