I'm 3 days post op and I'm so miserable. The pain is much more than I expected. I haven't even been able to drink a whole bottle of water in the past 2 days. I can't get jello down comfortably. It has taken an entire day to get a half a thing of jello down. I just feel horrible. Am I just being impatient or a big baby. I also think I may be way over doing it with house cleaning and things.

Tomorrow will be a week since I had the surgery and the pain from the incisions is mostly gone. I have never had any vomiting or anything so I'm pretty lucky. In the past 3 days I have developed this chest/ epigastric pain which can be severe at times. It feels like pressure that startes under my sternum and goes all of the way up to my neck sometimes it goes out to my shoulders. The pain goes away if I lay on my side and comes back as soon as I stand up. I'm am still very gassy and distended from the surgery so I constantly pace hoping it is gas pain and I need to walk it off. I'm scared to death that the band has slipped. I hope I'm over reacting and this is normal.
