Good morning! Don't get too excited by my ticker... it was accurate as of yesterday... but I managed to fall into a tub of chocolate drizzle caramel corn after the funeral... today is a new day, yes?

Good Saturday Morn, Vi's~~ Nothing on the docket today except the funeral. :thumbup: Pamela... Ack, no, I didn't track it! I suck! I mailed the card *after* the box. Again I say, I suck! Everything within is reproducible, but I worry that when the box finally appears in 6 months, that bread will be r-i-p-e! Oh my! Crap crappity crap crap!! I win worst SS! I am soooooo sorry!! Give me a couple days & I'll get out another one... & this time I will track it!!! Waa.

I'm not sure that thinking of me in that situation is complimentary, Laura... :tongue2:... but I completely understand!! I'd have thought of me too!! I don't remember how much it was... I've blocked it out... I could look it up... but don't want to... it'll bum me out... We had a very windy day on Weds & we lost 6+ trees! They came up @ the roots... & then crashed down over our backyard neighbor's fences... luckily, none came this way toward the house... but dh has been gathering quotes all day on cutting them up, etc... & that's not good, either... I hate money. So glad that you're home & on the mend, Jen! TracyKS... the pa @ my surgeon's says that "water mobilizes fat"... so that's what all the p'ing is doing... mobilizing your fat right on out! Yay! Terri... YAY on the day! + lol w/the cat... guess that's why they call them "lol cats!" I didn't follow the 5dbt but I did stay LEGAL & CLEAN and drank my water. Yay me! Tomorrow is the service for my neighbor who died on xmas eve day... it will be so so sad, I know... I am steeling myself for it... dd is going w/me, as a show of support for her son... I'm going to take lots of tissues... say a prayer. G'night!

Hey girlies... Couldn't get on earlier... odd. Anywho... am doing well today also... I didn't make any soup yet so not sure I'm "officially" a 5dpt girl or not... I'm just trying to be clean & to the letter... lord help me! This is the worst time of day for me... yikes! Undecorated & mega-cleaned & re-organized the furniture in my family room... took most of the afternoon... now I have to go return a movie... yes, I still do it the old fashioned way... I sent it 3-day whatever w/the PO... it should've been there by now... there's something in there that, if you haven't gotten it yet, I'd pitch when you do get it... yes, it's true, Pam was one of the lucky recipients of my pumpkin bread... only it's not so lucky now, is it... blech...

Congrats, Laura! It looks fancy & fast! The vp of dd's school is on the table getting her band RIGHT NOW! Woot! Send her good thoughts! Today was a VERY windy day... regular 50mph gusts... we watched 3 big pine trees topple backwards over our neighbor's fence (pulled out @ the root balls), + up to 5 or 6 others broke/fell but onto each other so they're semi-propped up or stuck into each other... a little bit scary!! I'm scared of dryer lint, too. Yikes. "inbetweeners" lol... I thought it was just guys "in between" serious relationships... you crack me up, Tracy! What's everyone doing this eve? We're just hanging out here, watching tv, maybe a movie, will watch the ball drop & then go to bed... woo, so wild, huh? Hope Judy's Piston's play well for her tonight! ttfn...

Hey girlies... Another laid back day... ran a few errands but otherwise just hung out, read a magazine, napped... aahhh this is the good life! I'm trying to enjoy it while I can... reality will return next week! Enjoy your eves!

Good morning, my precious Violets!~~ What fun we had last night! We had a parents v. kids wii bowling tournament & then a DDR party -- TOO FUNNY!! When we got ready to leave, we were all surprised to find that it was after midnight! Of course, the kids are now threatening to put up the videos of the parents onto Youtube -- ha ha ha! Oh dear. I hauled my big butt up onto the scale today. Oh dear. All I can say is that I'm back on the wagon. Period. No excuses. I've eaten everything; there is nothing that I don't know what it tastes like, so I really don't need to keep putting it all into my mouth. Priority #1 is to get back to where I was, which was -80 lbs @ 237 lbs. Then #2 will be to get down to -100, which is 217. After that, #3 will be to get under 200. That's it. Easy as pie. Oops, did I say "pie"? Oh my. Make it a great day, Vi's! PS... I think Jen was talking about her bf... wasn't he supposed to make his decision/commitment to her by Xmas or she was moving on? If so, then you go girl! MOVE ON!

Hey girlies... Just checking in quick before we leave to go to dinner @ my gf's house... the one w/her dd in the treatment center out in UT... but the dd is home for the first time for the holidays... so we're heading over for a yummy dinner (her mom is making all her favs) and fun & games... dance dance revolution & wii bowling & cards... I made her fav pie: French apple + van ice cream... mmmm... Just hung out today... I did stop by @ my neighbor's (the one who's wife died) house to check on him... no news yet on the details of the service... + I see some housecleaning for him in my future... I told him I'd come any time w/my Hefty bags to help him dig out... he needs to sleep for a month, I think... Ok, gotta go get ready... have a nice night, everyone.

Good Morning After, Vi's!~~ Here I am typing at ya all curled up on the family room couch, snuggled under a throw, watching the Today Show... now THIS is the life! :tongue2: Judy, DH got me a red wireless mouse cuz' I can't do the no-mouse thing, I'm hopeless at it. Also, I need to get used to this keyboard... my chubby fingers keep hitting the worng keys... see?? Sounds like everyone had a nice day. We had fun @ my sister's last night... everyone, adults & kids together, which is always a hoot, played Guitar Hero World Tour... so fun! My kids are still asleep this a.m.!! I need to start eating properly again asap... but then I see all the yummy items everywhere... and my resolve weakens... but I barely squeeked into my jeans yesterday, and a couple of my physical issues that are exacerbated by weight are showing up again, such as my carpal tunnel arm & puffy eyes/face... I am drinking water now, as I type... I am going to try try try to make correct choices... and hit the Y w/regularity... fa la la.............. off to surf for awhile... will bbl! Enjoy the day!

Merry Christmas, Violets!~~ I'm typing to you from my brand new LAPTOP COMPUTER!! It's a RED Dell Inspiron and I love it!! I also got a custom pink & green wavy case for it!! I'm so excited!! Tomorrow I'm taking it to Starbucks and hanging out w/the cool kids drinking their lattes and surfing the 'net!! Woo Hoo!! JUDY! ~~ You CRACK ME UP and I LOVE YOU! We all laughed so hard out loud when I opened "The Book for People Who Do Too Much"... & then when I read the explanation inside... you got it in Gruene!! I haven't gotten to read it yet, but I hope it helps! + the beautiful (sight & scent) candle, that I'm sure I'm supposed to use for "quiet time" (hardy har har!) + the key chain -- again, perfect, as mine broke recently and I love hearts, esp. purple ones!! I can say w/certainty that you know the "true" me and have celebrated it today. You rock! Merry Merry to each of you... I love you all & can't imagine my life without you!!!

Merry Christmas Eve, Everyone~~ Just got home from church... I love singing "Silent Night" w/the lights off and only the candles illuminating the old church... Jane -- SO SO GLAD to read that you are out of the hospital... that's 1 Christmas prayer answered already! Please say a prayer for my neighbor Sallyann McCarthy (w/the kidney cancer) & her husband and 10yo son... she died in the wee hours of the morning this morning... I found out on the way to church tonight... Peace be with each of my Violets on this Holy Night.

Sung to a tune none of you know cuz' we made it up in our family: "Santa's coming tonight, tonight... Santa's coming tonight! Santa's coming tonight, tonight... Santa's coming tonight!" But you get the idea!!! Who me?? Excited??:thumbup:

Merry Christmas Eve Day, Vi's!~~ I am starting to get *very* excited!! I love Christmas!! I love giving the gifts!! All the wrapped packages are in my closet, & when I was waiting for the shower to heat up I just stood there & looked at them all and got that tingly, excited feeling & started to squeal w/anticipation then got in the shower & started to sing & dh came in and asked what was wrong -- he didn't realize those were happy noises! LOL!! I actually went out & did a few errands this a.m. (yes, I bought some xmas presents even today!) & went to the grocery store... have to go back out in a bit to pick up the appetizer trays for tomorrow... I ordered 3 and it wasn't until I'd left that I realized that I'm not sure I have 'frig room for it all! Whoops! I'll just cram them in there... Gotta go finish up the cleaning of the house + wrap the final items... then errand... then early dinner & church this eve @ 8... then home & SANTA TIME!! My mom made our stockings & they have little jingle bells on them... our tradition is to put them on the end of our beds when we go to sleep... then "Santa" comes in & takes them, fills them, & returns them stuffed to the end of the beds. That's all well & good EXCEPT for the sneaking them in & out parts... because they jingle! And dd is the LIGHTEST sleeper, especially on XE... so it's always quite a trick. I wonder what time I'll be stuffing them tonight... I'm thinking 3am or so... Have I mentioned how excited I am?? Make it a good one, Vi's!!!

Wow Judy, that IS the true spirit of the season. How wonderful. MMM, pie for brekkie! I wanna live w/Pam! My kids are starting to get charged up... bouncing around, being so silly, "playing well" together... I love this time of year!

Hey girlies~~ WHEW! I *think* I am done w/shopping!! $200+ later at Target all on little piddly things... oh my! Now it's wrapping time! I hole up in my room for hours... I like it! I gave dd a pair of faux suede/sheerling boots early cuz' she had on the perfect outfit for them... I'm a sucker. I keep reminding her that they're a Christmas present... she'll forget. Oh well. As soon as I buy a good gift, I want to give it! I hate the waiting!! Oh!! I MAILED OUT MY SS PACKAGE TODAY!! Express. It most likely still won't get there by Xmas... but maybe by the end of the week?? bbl!
