Hey Girlies... Judy, all I can say is "WOW!" -- your gardens are beautiful!! Ditto what Pam said... your love shines through! ((Haydee)) Janie, when do you go to the ortho re: your thumb? WTG on the workout, Pam! I completely agree w/you & Jenny, yet do the same thing! What is wrong with this picture? :ohmy: Another child-rearing milestone this morning (ugh, these are coming all too fast & furious lately!) -- DS and I sent out his first college contact e-mails to soccer coaches who will be at the camp he's attending next week. He'll have more to do for a tournament in July. And so it begins... Now if I can just get him to start SAT prep! :eek: DD was at the barn for 12 hours yesterday (camp + her regular lesson)... she was dirty head to toe, and exhausted, but oh-so-happy! That's what summer's all about! Off to get some work in... make it a great day!

Good Monday morn, Vi's~~ Out early each day for the next two weeks to take DD to her riding camp. She's so excited! Lots of work to do this week, + I have to get DS organized & packed up for his first "away" soccer camp of the summer, in Philly. He leaves Sat. We're going shopping tomorrow (fan, more sports gear, snacks, cases of waters!)... yesterday I bought him his own first-ever lil' bottle of clothes detergent! :scared2: Everyone make it a great day!

Disappointing game yesterday. But Germany just beat England -- Susanne must be happy! Janie, I don't think they re-use their uniforms, so I don't think they care about stains... in fact, a lot of the teams trade jerseys at the end of the game (why you'd want someone else's stinky jersey is beyond me...). & it's Winter in S. Africa, so I think that's why they're bundled up? DD came home from the beach last eve... boy is she tan! Today is laundry day & getting her ready to start "eventing/jumping" horse camp tomorrow morning (for the next two weeks!). Make it a great day!

Yesterday ended up going in a completely different direction than I imagined, so no movies. Maybe next week... Great Book Recommendation!! Every Last One by Anna Quindlen. Wowza. US v. Ghana in 1.5 hrs!!! Psyched!!

I think that any airline thing you do w/an actual person costs money now... crazy! You watched it all day, Pam?? Yikes!! Feel like you need a shower much? So two of DS's friends who are girls created a FB page for him... ugh, here we go... I've managed to dodge this bullet w/him this long, guess I should be grateful for that... It was funny, for his profile they did some serious/true answers, but most of them were really funny, like that his fav book series was the Twilight saga, ha ha... and then hobbies was just "soccersoccersoccersoccereatsoccersoccersoccersoccerbreathesoccer..." you get the idea, ha ha. So now I figure I'll have to either re-activate (& massively update & prune) my page, OR just get his log-in info so I can keep an eye on their shenanigans... Am working this a.m., then DS and I will run some errands then hope to go see "Get Him to the Greek" this afternoon. Or if DH joins us, then it'll probably be either Shrek or Toy Story 3. WE JUST SCORED IN EXTRA TIME!!!!!!!!! the boys jumped up & down so hard whooping & hollering and all the Mickeys (4) fell off the top of the tv console! WE JUST WON THE GAME & ARE THRU TO THE NEXT ROUND!!!

Oh my gosh this soccer match is crazy, so dramatic, can't believe I'm so worked up about it... we've had SO MANY chances to score... Ack! p

How did those old wives have so much time to sit around making up those odd prediction tests? That's what I want to know! DD's still @ the beach, DS had soccer practice, so DH & I went out for a nice dinner just the two of us last night! Will wonders never cease? We went to Bonefish Grill. I'm not a big fish person, but enjoyed the pecan crusted trout! The raspberry vodka collins hit the spot, as well... :biggrin: US plays in an hour! Get out your vuvuzelas and blow! We need a win!!!

But seriously, why would a "guest" come in here? Really? Really?! We're just too cool for school!

That IS funny/ironic, Judy! My ds washed/cleaned/vac'd my car this morning! What a treat! Sweet guy. Am off to clean the master bathroom... bleh. I hate hate hate that job! But I hate foot fungus more, so..... Hope no one else is cleaning today!

I haven't mentioned the trip to dh yet, but it's not as much asking as telling, lol. I've tracked airfare since returning from TX, and it's been $301 every day! Oh, & we've got to go to the spa, too, don't forget! I think I'd even vote for spa over DL, if there's a conflict or if we can do just one -- can you BELIEVE that?! Well, we've got time to plan, and can do it privately... Yesterday I kept thinking it was Saturday, because everyone was home and I didn't work at all... so now today is my Friday! I'm working, etc. DD left for her week-long Outer Banks, NC, vacay w/our friends this a.m. Later today we're going to my niece's LAX tournament, which is close by & my whole famdamily will be there, & then we'll all go out to dinner.
