  1. Well veggies and Beans are the "good" carbs, but I also have a few wheat thins once a week and/or a slice of Fiber one bread a week.
  2. I can't say yes or no to that. Going by what I got told and mostly what I read in this site is what I'm saying.
  3. Hahaha you sure will, confidence will get restored.
  4. I agree, I still find it absolutely surprising, times I can't believe it kinda like I'm in shock or something hahaha.
  5. Exactly what my surgeon and nut said can happen. Carb crave is irresistibly hard to control.
  6. Thank you! Still have a long way to go but surely I will get there. And even when I was super morbidly obese I went out with friends and enjoyed life, although hard for me to even go out then I did it. Now I don't think twice about it, I hear "let's go somewhere" and I say "let's go and where to?" Hahahaha
  7. Yes but potato and corn is bad carb. Carb turns into sugar which is why I know most of them tell us stay away from it apart from it being to binding for our small pouch. And another thing about carbs, once we eat them, we can lose total control in them, carb crave is our enemy b/c once that crave starts it ain't good. My NUT and surgeon said if I feel like eating potato, rice, white bread, Pasta to do so but to understand for maximum weight loss to stay away from them.
  8. find it odd you guys eating potato and corn... usually from every ones's diet/NUT first thing they say is to stay away from those, only tolerated carbs are from beans, veggies and whole wheat (fiber one bread/cereal). And AnnAC I would get my proteins in before eating anything else, always get those proteins in first lol
  9. Thank you all for the great comments and compliments especially the "cute face" comment hahaha, theyre sure a confidence booster hahaha, I actually feel you guys are inspirational to me and help keep me going. @dorrie yes Ive heard of other stories where people put them down, and I say screw them!!!
  10. Yea sure can tell and feel it now! And you will don't worry. As long as you follow the plan your A ok.
  11. Thank you appreciate that! And no ways I wore it 3 months ago to my surgeons appointment and he just looked at me and said "come on throw those away and get new clothing they're huge on you" Hahahaha
  12. Lol I have smaller clothing, I kept the old stuff to do the slide show. I wanna try them on again after I lose my next 100 pounds. Oh and Paula is my mother in law, she supported me from day 1 back in 2002 when I first tried to get surgery.
  13. Hahaha I put all those big plaid shirts in a garage bag and tossed them in the garage, next time I'll try them on will be when I lose the next 100 pounds.

  16. Im with PDX on this also, my NUT told me no rice, Pasta, bread, potato, corn etc for first 3 months, I complied and about the 4th month I took a bite out of bread and the mayo/bread/turkey/cheese tasted nasty to me so I let it go. up until last month (6th month) I got permission to eat whole wheat crackers or Fiber one low fat bread (50 calories a slice) once a week and still bread made me feel uncomfortable, I eat it very very slow and avoid drinking any fluids maybe till 1 hour later.. As for rice, rice makes me puke and I feel sick to my stomach when attempting to eat even if its a few grains. Potato I avoid 100%.
  17. FInally finished my before and after slideshow I promised two months ago...apparently my friend was doing it for me but he never actually got to start it...So I had to learn how to do so myself and here it is, enjoy fellow losers:
