You could be too tight. I also seem to have this issue, but only when I am drinking to fast or if the drink is too cold. I would give it a day or two and see if you are still having the issue.

2 Days After Lap Band Surgery And I Cant Get Much Down

I had my surgery on the 9th of Dec and I was the same way. I had a very hard time keeping liquids down and the key that I found was that making sure that the water was warm. Still can't drink cold water. It feels like it gets stuck. Take it slow. Oh the other trick that I am finding works is chewing ice. -
I would give it a couple more days. I haven't had a fill yet but according to the paper work I got it says that you should really treat a fill diet like the post op diet. Start off really slow with liquids and then slowly increase to solid foods.
