I had lap band surgery November 16, 2011 by Dr Darrin Minkin.  Top weight 300. I lost 80 pounds. In November 2014, I had complication of a prolapse which led to vomiting everything I ate for 9 months. I had to change surgeons because of my insurance. Band and port removed 8/10/15 by Dr Andrew Wheeler, which band was sitting sideways and had also slipped causing me the vomiting. Will be revising to the gastric bypass November 2015 based on my history of GERD and scar tissue and recommendations by my new surgeon. I have a personal goal weight of 180, but no lower than 150 based on my body type. I am looking forward to new start and to hit my goal weight. YAY!
